Plot/Overview: Breaking Fast is a fast-paced side-scrolling racing game about breakfast foods. There are power ups and attacks to help you win the mad dash to the finish line. The game is super easy to pick up and play, supports 4 player local multiplayer as well as 8 player online. There are 16 total breakfast foods for you to play as, all with different strengths/weaknesses and are unlocked as you earn expierence playing the game.
Music/Sound: The music and sound effects are very playful and simple. The songs fit the levels and the only thing I found wrong was the warning noise for an incoming special attack, it tends to drown out all the other sounds, and gets chaotic when playing with 7 other people.

Overlanders

However if you’re in a hurry and don’t have time to watch the video, then here are few words about the game.
It’s arcade, fast paced action / combat racing with hovers. Even tho it doesn’t say it’s in early access, it sure feels like lot of content is missing / in progress, even the track builder says “under construction”.
So that said, game looks quite ok, but at this point there’s just not much to do. I completed all tracks in less than 2 hours and there’s nothing much to grind for, so it gets boring very fast. Also I did not see any players in multiplayer, I only got bots.

In this video I take a look at Overlanders a hover bike racing game where the leader gets to kill a monster.
The difficulty after the first few levels seemed to get too hard. Doesn’t really add anything new to the genre unless you like chasing monsters. Pity, I was looking forward to this one but it just didn’t deliver.

PLOT
Froggy loses his brother (Frog X) in the legendary Candy Tournament organized by Gingerbread Man once every 5 years. Frog X died at the paw of ruthless Pinkie. Froggy decides to go to Candy Island to take part in the tournament and avenge his brother’s death (do not write in the reviews that the plot is stretched because it is not. It is based on real events).

First I did not get how to play it…then I embraced the madness, and it just clicked. Everyone needs a little of Uranus in their live.

This is a neat 1v1 game with cool visuals and music synced to what both players are doing, which makes it a delicious audiovisual experience as well!
It’s hard to master it, but you can practice in single-player mode with a bot for when you finally have your friends over after the COVID lockdowns and annoy them with the ridiculous cherub sarcastically blowing a kiss every time they lose a point.

I´ll put it simple:
This might very well be the SURPRISE of 2018 and in my book is already a part of the Hall of Games of Couch Games alongside Towerfall and Duck Game.
Picture Micro Machines mechanics, except the mini cars are replaced by normal sized people that are not QUITE normal, like an old transvestite o an anthropomorphic dog (that somehow has become the new face of Indie Games in this book of mine I’m telling you about) ALL while competing to reach the Top in a obstacle course race in contemporary Japan.

Nippon Marathon is funny, wacky, strange, surreal, goofy, and everything you expected it to be if you have seen those funny, wacky, strange, surreal, and goofy Japanese TV shows that have a surprising number of international followers all over the globe. The game is currently in Early Access but will be coming out to full release in approximately 1 month, when the more fleshed out version of the game will be available to the public on multiple platforms.

The game is ok, but nothing that will make you keep playing. It’s a sandbox arena with other cars spawning for you to kill. You can beat the game with the first car upgraded, there is no reward to progress further than that. If you want a game easy to beat and get 100% achievements, then this game will be great.

I do not recommend this game. It has very little content, even for $5. This game is basically just driving around and killing people. Here are some pros and cons.

When discussing the best and most revolutionary games of all time, what comes to mind? Half-Life 1? Super Mario 64? Virtua Fighter? What should come to mind is this game. Grand Dude Simulator is a game with no objective. It is the definitive sandbox game. List of mechanics:
Pissing? Check
Going to jail? Check
Cars? Check
Everything is the game has been tuned to perfection. The hand to hand combat is immersive. I often found myself using meter attacks rather than the guns because of how fun they were. If I had one complaint it would be a lack of multiplayer. This kind of game would be the kind of game to kick back with the boys and play for an hour or two. But you can’t really play with the boys, just talk to them while they play. Despite this, I give Grand Dude Simulator a 4.5/5. Highly recommended to chicken and police enthusiasts.
