It has tons of characters, costumes and different modes.
The playable characters will react differently upon facing certain enemies in the intro in “appeal events”.
Unfortunately the Pirate Flag battle mode has been removed.
Graphics are neat and special moves look great.

Was really enjoying the game, and then the game ate my save and 3 hour progress. Don’t recommend.

Very satisfying combat. Although I would recommend Reshade for the graphics as some ambient occlusion and contrast go a long way for this game’s visuals. Also, this game is a bit short on content, definitely worth it if it’s on sale however.

One Piece: Unlimited World Red - Deluxe Edition
It’s a fun game for all One Piece fans. Others might not like it as much.
The main story is really short, you can finish it in couple of hours. The challenge is afterwards with the additional quests and the Colosseum.
There are not many skills for the characters, and basically you have limited playable characters but i still don’t count that as a negative.
! There are some mechanics that are not needed and could have been done differently such as using Words, 90% of them are useless for the purpose of the playthrough, just a pain to get them all for the achievement. You will be using a couple for each character, basically damage % or HP. Chopper for the heals and Usopp for speed to get through annoying stages. Though, Nami gets decent damage with the lightning words, i think she has the best rooster as a character. Sanji’s got fire damage, Brook ice damage, Franky is a tank with defence and HP. Luffy and Zoro have the highest base attack, so you would use attack for them. Also, you have the words useful for bug and fish catching.

This was another One Piece game that (sort of) retells events from the series rather than having a 100% original storyline. It does have it’s own characters and plot but it heavily relies on old characters and locations. If you want something completely new then you might want to avoid this.
There is a lot of extra content in the game. 60+ ‘quests’ that range from insultingly simple collection quests to challenging boss fights. The battle coliseum where you fight against bosses or waves of enemies and play through a separate mini-story. Then New Game+ which is as you could have guessed is a tougher version of the main game. I’ve played through the Story, some of NG+, the Coliseum and most of the quests and it took around 35 hours. Some of it is grindy but overall it was fun. The combat does get a little repetitive but you can always change which characters you take on missions with you, all nine Strawhats play differently and you can alter which Strong Words (like abilities) you have equipped to customise them more.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3
So I really wanted this game for months, but the price was too steep for me. When it went down temporarily in November, I jumped on the chance to buy it. Now that I have had a few months to play it, here is what I think.
I don’t really care for the whole argument about shading, brightness, or any of that. But there are some drawbacks with the graphics. First of all, most of the common “cannon fodder” enemies have their heads moving away from their bodies. I mean it is really easy to see that the heads are simply not attached and are weaving away from the bodies. I thought that was kind of annoying. To add to this, you will often see their weapons floating right next to them rather than being held. On the plus side, it kind of makes you feel like you are killing a bunch of Jedi or Sith, just pretend those weapons are being held by the Force. However, part of these faults can also be found on major characters like Kuro, Aokiji, Usopp, and Ivankov but with these guys the problem is the hair. With Kuro you may find his hair floating a few inches away from his head, making it seem like he is bald. After a few moments of laughing it became a little annoying. As for the others, the dynamics between their head and their hair is annoying in that the hair will often move independently and block your view of the character’s faces. It may not seem like much for some, but I was really aggravated by that.

02.05.2016 REVIEW
Disclaimer:
Due to disagreements with certain users who kept indirect insults as a priority matter, I am enticed to post the following notice: This review is based on my personal experience with the game from approximately 90 hours of playtime. There’s also an edited part elaborating this in the bottom.
tl;dr review:
If you’re a One Piece or Dynasty Warriors fan, buy the game. If you’re not a big fan of either and are expecting something state-of-the-art or unique, pass on it.)

ONE PIECE World Seeker
You get to play as Luffy, you get to ride Karoo! Lots to find and once you get Gum Gum Rocket you move quite fast. Bird lets you climb any object. Its a really fun game. I also really enjoyed the story. That being said. Sometimes the controls feel sluggish and the fights for the most part are terribly easy so I recommend starting off on hard or very hard.

Captains & Dungeons
Captains & Dungeons is an addictive Action Role Playing Game (aRPG), in which you must survive the daemons of the dungeons. To escape and to return to your pirate ship you must pass every level which is full of daemons. But be careful there are level-end bosses at the end of each level.
As you counteract the daemons, you earn souls with which you can upgrade your weapons and get more health potions.

Game’s Story:
An Ancient Tale Told by the Elders of Trem
While defending his sovereign realm and in defense of his people’s land, the brave and mighty golden-haired King of Trem slay Tazven—the strongest of all iron-clad opponent soldiers. What the King of Trem did not know is that Tazven was the sinister Sorcerer Leartnom’s only son. The Sorcerer, of the opposing mountain kingdom village of Yekrut, hidden between the Serpent Sea and the dark pine trees of Adanac, vowed to take revenge on the King for his grave mistake of slaying his son—which could not be forgiven—even in battle.
In vengeance, Sorcerer Leartnom cursed King Trem’s only child—a raven-haired daughter, Princess Julia. The curse imprisoned her in the castle dungeon with a power so great that her lungs would be pierced with shards of metal should she dare step outside of her cell. Once the king came to visit his daughter and deceptively attempted to remove his daughter from the dungeon by means of a hidden spiral staircase that was only known to the servants. But soon he found that his daughter’s breath was sucked from her lips with such sharp pain that her screams echoed in the guard’s armored helmets. Condemned to the cavernous halls of the castle’s bowls, Princess Julia was never to see daylight again until the curse was broken.
The King promised to give his throne to any man who could save his daughter from this dreadful fate of imprisonment just beneath his own feet in the castle dungeon on the Isle of Trem. Many soldiers and adventurers failed trying to save Princess Julia.
Until one day, after a terrible storm in the Serpent Sea, the Pirate Magician Yapla found himself washed up on the island Kingdom of Trem. He was the sole survivor of his shipwreck. The Pirate Magician Yapla realized that the only way out off of the island was to open the massive castle drawbridge with the wizard wand which was hidden by Sorcerer Leartnom in Princess Julia’s cell. Further intrigued by the prospect of being king, the Pirate Yapla embarked on an adventure through the castle’s dungeons to save himself and the cursed Princess Julia.

This is a very simple pirate game with 3 modes and minimalist graphics. Music is acceptable in quality. Map is way too small. Controls are responsive but feel more like you’re controlling an RC car from an 8- or 16-bit title than a pirate ship.
There are no bots or an obvious way to host a dedicated server. Player counts are so extremely low that you must bring your own friends to make this game worthwhile.
For an occasional casual game, it’s of acceptable quality and quite a bit of fun, but if you don’t have friends to bring along or want a long-term game to invest time into, I suggest going with a different offering.

Skyhook
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN EARLY ACCESS REVIEW
Did you ever hear of Skyhook before being on it’s store page for the first time?
Me neither.
It’s kinda one of those games you learn of by some obscure indie reviewer/blogger, or by chance. For me, it was the latter. I’d recently ordered a Steam Link so I could play games on the big TV in my living room. I figured I should try picking up some local-multiplayer games for when I have my friends over, so I did a Steam store search of games with both the “Full-Controller Support” and “Local Multiplayer” tags. I found Skyhook about half-way through the fourth set of results. After seeing both the neat gameplay and the 50% off discount, I thought to myself “ehh…why not?” and got it.

A Action Platforming Arena Game
-
The gameplay is fairly fun and fast paced. Similar to Smash Bros, although you die in one hit if anything hits you, and you are mainly shooting grappling hooks at each other and trying to dodge.
-
Quite a few “challenge stages” that are comprised of a bunch of little challenge minigames like break the targets, climb to the top before the lava rises, and kill X amount of enemies without dying.
-
A variety of game modes
-
Up to 4 player local multiplayer

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion
All the time I spent on this game was just hunting for achievements, side questing, exploring, and level grinding. But aside from that, the main story of this game is quite short, and it can be completed in about 2-3hrs. All in all, I think its a fun game and if not the first game that AT has with free roam and an open world setting. The turn-based battles are alright, with the game explaining how status debuffs work, elemental advantages, and buffs, it’s pretty easy to understand and master the game with just basic knowledge. You can pretty much destroy any boss you encounter by just playing against their weaknesses (every character has different elemental skills). But, the game’s pretty much over once you get BMO to join you, you’ll see what I mean when you play it. For the price it has right now, I think its worth it IMO, but better to wait for a sale to get it.

This is a casual turn based RPG based on the Adventure Time world including many of the shows famed voice actors. The game plays out like an extended episode or even movie with a pirates theme that gives off a WindWaker vibe with the boat you use to travel from the strange worlds.
The game is poorly optimised for PC with chopy frames and clunky feel and very poor menus, but it does all work and if you can get past the games annoyances your likely to enjoy this immersive world. Theres enough detail to make you feel like you really are in the Adventure Time world as oposed to a game developers intepretation of it.

Assassins vs Pirates
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a78WaYxZRh8
Assassins vs Pirates is a fun couch co-op arena game. Online lobbies are pretty much empty so I can’t stress enough, if you have friends to play this game, whether local or online, its a MUST HAVE. If you dont have people to play with, I suggest you wait till the price drops a bit, because it is an extremely easy to grasp fun game but the lack of bots makes it heavily reliant on other people.

Really cool and fun game - not really too much in the way of story, but really fun after a whole day of work. It can get pretty dynamic at times :) This game was the reason I bought a controller. Honestly I would recomend it for anyone who doesn’t have the time to immerse themselves into a story-driven game.
In conclusion:
Awesome game for a quick stress relief :)
