A brilliant game with friends. I must have played 200+ matches and no two have been the same. Great balancing system and a sprinkling of luck built-in to ensure matches are competitive while still giving the edge to the more skilled players.

TLDR good game though modding makes it even better

Base game.

If i had to choose a game that i will play and is pvp 1v1 this is almost always one of the best choices to make.

This game has all of the greatness of stick fight but with little to none of the issues.

Simply put this game is pretty good by default.

Modded game.

Do you have slight issues with something then why not try playing without it.

Would like to try some thing wacky go for it.

Would you like picking 5 cards at the very start and at the end of EACH round you got it. (can get 25 cards in 1 match).

Wanba Warriors

Wanba Warriors

Wanba Warriors is a brilliant example of creativity. The characters feel distinct and fresh, with some completely altering the theme of the match.

A novel system of character control at first is scary, but becomes incredibly rewarding. In Wanba, movement and melee are intertwined. Each mindgame, each feint renders you immobile (for most characters). The stamina system enables a game pace where patient and clever moves are rewarded.

I cannot give Wanba Warriors any recommendation other than to try it out. If you find it enjoyable, check out the discord for info on the tourney scene!

Wanba Warriors… a thing of mystery. A game within a game, a story within a machine, and a code within our nature. Wanba Worriors… it is everythig it ever needed to be, and is’t everything it ever was. now is it everything that it needed for it not to be, and also everything god made it to be? yes.

1. Do not play any other games they will all make you worse at Wanba.

2. slowly wither away from friends and faimily until u are only a shell of what you once were

3. wanba,work,sleep,repeat

3.* bliss

The mechanics are very simple & straightforward. Also Expect to mash like never before since going for the same button as your opponent will force you both to mash fest punch button, with the fastest thump being the winner! KAKATE KOI

Brawlout

Brawlout

This is going to be a slightly in depth review of my experience with brawlout.

First off let me start off by saying that I’ve been playing this game since it was very first released, and have played it off and on ever since. Right out of the gate the game was not very polished, effects movement and hitboxes were buggy and some things were very unbalanced and over powered to put it lightly. The brawlout devs made a bad move by getting some big name youtube channels to do a review of their game upon release (which was basically beta stage) and they trashed it hard. Even at the very beginning of this games release I saw potential in the combo game, and coming from being primarily a melee player, I still enjoyed this game and saw vast potential in the characters and combo game. A long time had gone by and the devs did not do much to support the game, or balance characters, but they were working on implementing some new modes and guest characters, and being such a small dev team it took them a while to get it right. Fast forward a couple years from the games release and we have seen nothing but constant dev patches from a very small dev team showing that not only do they listen to the community, but they are really trying to make things right now. Over powered moves have been nerfed or readjusted completely, mechanics like dash dancing, sitting on the ledge instead of being forced up, and meteor cancelling/wall techs among other things have been added to the game. If you picked up this game on release and haven’t again I urge you to give it another chance as it feels 20X better overall then it did upon release, and if they keep this up the game could truly become a melee like steam smash bros with it’s own scene.

What a giant disappointment. I was early access, I put money into it before it was a full release and the switch gets the full version first?. (which by the way isnt finished either, see below*) How insulting to the playerbase that supported it and because of that no one plays this, so expect the online mode to be a joke. I want to critique this game for what it really offers but its 1/13/18, the full switch release was 12/19/17. They barely updated it to Ver.0.92, yeah, woo hoo. So I can already expect that the PC version of this game is going to be treated like the ugly stepchild.

Fight Party

Fight Party

Loving this game in the short time I’ve played! I must have said to the two people I was playing with that I’d stop for the night about 10 times. Finally, I had to just force myself to close the game so I could be up for work the next morning.

This is a very fun and engaging party game. At the time I’m posting this, there is a single player Hunger Games style FFA where you face a handful of CPUs, if you can’t or don’t want to play multiplayer. Speaking of the multiplayer, it supports up to 32 players and provides a good number of different maps/biomes to fight to the death on.

This game, despite being simple in concept, is un ironically the most fun I have had with a party game in quite sometime. This isn’t due to a lack of searching either, I own xbox gamepass, I own a switch, both have an amazing selection of party games ranging from Overcooked to Mario Party, that said, this game’s dumb fun value is nothing to scoff at. If you have a group of friends, say 3 or 4, this game is absolutely worth the price of admission if updated beyond its current state. Keep at it Mr. Vibin.

I’ve been playing since closed alpha, and can say that this game just get better and better. Right now I can no longer experiance any bugs, and I am very impressed for it just being an early access game with so smooth and nice bug-free gameplay at solid FPS. The game is free, so why not give it a try?

It is a very fun game ;)

The controls are sometimes feel clunky, but in most of the cases it works fine xD

The sword is probably the weapon to start with this game, the bow is really hard to actually hit someone.

Here is some online gameplay footage just to give you some impression:

Real player with 547.5 hrs in game

Killer Instinct is the best and the most unique fighting game of modern time.

Why? It’s probably the first to shake and transform seemingly eternal rules of fighting games. If you think about, since the iconic Street fighter II they practicaly haven’t changed. Yes, they added more mechanics, more gauges, more crazy characters, more interactions, a lot of things. But none of them ever tried to change the basis of the whole system. Killer Instincs did. And it did so in an absolutely genius way.

Almost all of the other titles are about combos. You learn the best buttons, you learn the most damaging combos, you learn to start them whenever you want. Yes, there’s a whole lot of other things, but in the end it’s all about memorising and performing combos. That’s why watchiing a lot of tournaments is really boring. Especially if it’s something like DBFZ, KOF, pretty much any anime fighter etc.

Pocket Bravery

Pocket Bravery

Pocket Bravery is inspired by classics from the 90s, such as Street Fighter, Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters. And its SD aesthetic had an influence on games like Pocket Fighter and other fighting games from Neo Geo Pocket Color.

But make no mistake, Pocket Bravery was created to be a new and unique fighting game, with original characters, vibrant colors and a combat system that will impress you, since the game was designed with the focus on high level players. Even so, it has features that will teach beginning players how to develop and evolve in the game.

The game uses the digital pad and four buttons, two for punches and two for kicks. You can execute the traditional commands from the fighting games using the directional pad plus the button to make special moves, super specials or even the final attack. Each character has an element that represents his strength, can be physical or supernatural. You can accumulate up to 2 attacks on the elemental bar. Through this system, it is possible to execute elemental attacks that have different characteristics from the others and bring new offensive or defensive possibilities for the player.

Stick Fight: The Game

Stick Fight: The Game

I finally did it. I out pizza’d the Hut. It was the greatest mistake of my life.

After years of perfecting my recipe, I made my way down to the local hut, fresh-baked pizza pie in hand. “Try this,” I told the kid working the counter. He did, and he had to agree that it was better than anything Pizza Hut had to offer. Soon, the entire store, customers included, was feasting on my delicious pie. The manager walked over, grabbed a slice, and took a bite. I look at him, anticipation rising. This was the boss, the local fief lord of the Hut. His approval meant more to me than all the rest combined. He took a bite and nodded. “I’ll be damned,” he said, “you really did it. You out- pizza’d the Hut. Shame.” Shame? What did he mean by tha– the manager pulled a gun out from behind his apron and shot the nearest customer in the head. “We have a Code Jalapeño,” he said into his wrist as he executed the remaining customers. “I repeat, we have a Code Jalapeño.” The ground was slick with blood. The kid working the counter choked out his dying breath as the manager turned to me. “You just had to do it motherfucker. You just had to out pizza the Hut.” He shoved the gun in my face. I was too scared to fight, too scared to run. The manager pulled the trigger.

Honestly, i like the game. I think it’s fun. Yea, it’s really basic but i like it. It’s worth a shot for no money. Glad i didn’t listen to the reviews.

Edit - So I played 20 hours now and I still like it. I dont know why people think its terrible. I mean the graphics aren’t good, but I enjoy the combat. Punch button, kick button, block button. You string together combos. You customize a string of punches and a string of kicks and when you press the punch button it does the string, the kick button does the kick string. I don’t work for the company, not getting any benefits by saying this. Thing is it’s free and it takes 2 seconds to download and try. If you hate it you hate it, if you think it’s fun it’s fun. If you need good graphics in a game, you’ll probably look at it and think it’s hideous but if you can look past that and have fun with gameplay in a basic streetfighting simulator, it’s fun.

Ok so where the I start? First of all the big benefit with this game is that it is Free to play. Secondaly this game IS NOT pay 2 win, It simply has things like punches and kicks you can upgrade by earning respect which you earn through playing more matches, I have found myself come accross people with better clothes and abilities and beat a few in a 1v1 situation. It really isn’t Pay 2 win it’s more of a case of investing time into a game to make yourself better. Thirdly the devs are currently active which is good so you can report any technical issues or share your thoughts to them through social media.
