SeaRing
ABOUT SEARING
SeaRing is a 2D indie action-puzzle, putting a devilish twist on its predecessors by flipping the script and making defending the only way to attack. Submerge yourself in a world rich in lore, and be taken on a journey full of colourful and often comical storytelling, as you join the Princess of the Sea in a nostalgic quest to recover her mother’s lost crown, become queen, and restore peace in a world now ruled by fire.
As you leave the Water Kingdom behind to venture into the desert, you’ll meet witty and humorous NPCs, witness astonishing backdrops, and be carried by a soothing soundtrack! Will the Princess conquer her foolish foes OR succumb to the pressure and leave her hopes and dreams to dissipate along with the rest of the desert?
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
So you’re the girl who wants to cross the desert?
Embark on the sea Princess’s journey to retrieve her mother’s lost crown by venturing far from the water and into the uncharted and dangerous realm of fire, a desert where the sun never sets, ruled by the sadistic Saladino and his seven deadly servants. The mission? Accomplish your mother’s last wish and set claim to the sea throne, so that tranquility can return to the kingdom and the moon can once again set a natural pace to the sea’s tide.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
Trust in the power of the Sea Ring.
The twist? You will have no harpoons, tridents, or turtle shells of any colour. You must solely rely on the Sea Ring. The Sea Ring… is a ring… of the sea, and yes, it’s the title of our game! Passed on by generations, you can summon its defensive capabilities to briefly protect you from imminent danger. The best form of attack is to defend, and we push this famous sports philosophy to its limit!
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
Explore a rich world filled with art, music, humour and lore!
Brace yourself for a journey through luscious landscapes and be propelled by an adventurous soundtrack, as you set off to vanquish those who stand in your way, starting with Saladino and his posse of good-for-nothing bandits. Encounter challenging puzzles and puzzling challenges, interact with over 50 (sometimes questionable) NPCs and explore 100s of unique dialogue lines, as you dive deeper into enemy territory. How much you rely on them is up to you - they may help you, share insightful recollections as you study the game’s lore, or cause a slight distraction through hilarity as they derail you from your mission.

KEY FEATURES
-
You can’t ATTACK?! “How do I kill my enemies then?” Well… you technically don’t. Channel your inner pacifist as you use your Sea Ring to see off any enemy attacks, in true Sea Princess fashion. The Sea Ring can also be used to interact with objects, which will provide usefulness in situations outside of combat (hopefully).
-
So about the NPCs… I guess you don’t have to talk to them but we encourage you to! Some are a bit out there, others actually pretty funny (if you give them the chance to be), and some can be really helpful too, giving you well-needed tips as you explore the lore of this game. With over 50 of them, and 100s of unique dialogue, we’re sure they’ll help you get to your destination! Just don’t pay too much attention to the weird ones…
-
Sea Princess Calls Home: ring ring. ring ring. It’s not everyday that a Sea Princess gets lost in the desert. Actually, this may be the very first time! Whether you may be lost, stuck on a puzzle, or just feeling a little homesick, all you have to do is press ‘C’! Dad and his charm are just an underwater video call away!
-
Illustrious Artwork & Soundtrack: Feast your eyes on this pixel piece of art, and enter a state of musical tranquility with over 10 unique songs from the soundtrack, as SeaRing brings an atmospheric feel that engulfs you in ways you have never experienced before (in other words, our game is really pretty and nice).

UNDYING
I seriously enjoyed the game. I feel like with updates, it got a little easier because zombies would never spawn around the map. I am kind of tilted that it cuts off around day 30 something, and tells you thanks for playing. I felt like this was a huge issue for me. I think the game is very time consuming, and the infection rates are a little intense, and I found some bugs where you would suddenly be sick, and dying.
I am very unhappy with the fact I cannot continue my play through, and have to experience it all over again and again just to get that itch of the game. I honestly hope they incorporate a regular mode, or a dlc where you play as the son. constantly worrying about being infected is a little rough, I am very unhappy that I cannot continue my play through!

The story is fascinating and I like the twist in the zombie survival genre about “What life is like after being bitten?” I absolutely love it.
There are however a few things that need to be balanced such as food and water supplies. It makes the game much harder than it needs to be and to perhaps add more resources to at least upgrade workbenches so that the player can achieve self-sufficiency.
Also maybe add a few quality of life upgrades such as the ability to delete old save files, for example.

CrownFall
Where do I start. I agree with other reviews saying it is a challenging game, mostly to the point where i was starting to get frustrated. But to be honest, once I started to learn how to do the most damage, figure out what i can / can’t do, it started to become a game that I am enjoying. I think the price is exceptional for what you get to play. Some of the bosses I did have to grind to figure out their rotation. Be aware that the “levels” are you just fighting a boss, and if your stuck / having trouble on one boss, you can always go to another “level” and come back later. So yes, I am enjoying the game so far ( just get past the “learning how to do things” and you will enjoy it to). Last note - skip the first boss, come back to him later.

I just start playing this game today. After 2 hours of playing this is what I have to say:
If you love brutal challenges this game is for you. There is no experience grinding. There are no overpowered weapons. You quickly forget that the hero is a little girl wearing an askew crown. You dodge, you attack and you super attack. To win you need to learn how to hurt the boss and you need to learn how to avoid getting hurt by the boss. Sounds simple, right? You will die. You will die alot. I have yet to beat a boss but I think it’s a great game.

This game is awesome! No boring moments; to pay the rent you need to keep it moving! & The art style is really cool!

Wow. Really fun and visually stunning for a 5 dollar game. Killer pixel art, but with so much on screen its a little tough to find the enemy’s in the chaos. A simple outline of the enemy’s would help. Otherwise this game rocks, and is well worth the asking price. This was made by one guy? Hell I have played TS games that were made by a huge team of programmers and were not nearly as fun, one guy made this? Good job man.

The game isn’t very good nor bad. it’s just simple made, few weapons, and missions. the enemies are rtarded and blind as fck, but you can die pretty fast so sometimes you have to repeat missions +-5 times.
There are some minor bugs or things that could be fixed like: some words are connected (missing spaces between), the enemy is called nazi soldier instead of wermacht soldier (not all soldiers were nazis), when you walk under trees (or next to a wall) you see yourself highligted green instead of that the tree/wall is being transparent, you can’t pick up ammo from other weapons you just pick the weapon up and the MP 40 has a 24 ammo clip instead of 32.

Game is not very polished, many small bugs and annoying things.
What is worse, I’ve completed the whole game in 2h while repeating many missions 5-6 times.
The amount of content is very low.

Friend ReQuest - A Playable Teaser
Most of the game is pretty boring, so as to show how dull this person’s life really is. However, that doesn’t exactly make it enjoyable to play, and there’s barely any story for the first half of the game. Then, for the second half, there’s more story, but less to do in general.
I also have a habit of pressing esc to check my stats/ pause the game, and that exits this game. There is no save function, so I had to restart. They do tell you that there is no save function at the beginning of the game though.

I’m sooooo excited for Amity Chain and this really sold it! Amity feels so real and all her conversations are so fleshed out I’m really looking forward to seeing more from her and other characters. Really neat spritework that I’m also excited to see more of!
Tip: stick around at the “end” of the game when the screen goes white!

Galactic Refugees
this is a really nice game with pretty widely varied difficulty settings and all original artwork and music. imo it’s simple, easy to pick up and go, and a lot of fun :3
a lot of the characters are cute and quirky, and there is plenty of solid shoot em up/bullet hell content.
