The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories
It’s not often to discover the games that manage to tie concept, world design, and story together perfectly. It may fly under people’s radar because of weird preview trailer and self-harm concept that could be very sensitive for someone. “The Missing” is a puzzle-platformer game with story driven narrative developed by White Owls Inc. which is directed by Hidetaka Suehiro (a.k.a. SWERY).

The gameplay isn’t super spectacular or anything but it’s good enough and a good execution of the concept, there’s just a few hiccups (a pretty cryptic puzzle, Route 65 is a bit bugged, in my playthrough i clipped through 2 different walls, one of those instances was a softlock, some achievements sometimes not working properly) If your’e a fan of other 2D puzzle platformers you’ll probably like the gameplay, the movement is very limbo
If the heavy concept of this game isn’t something you aren’t sure you’d be able to handle, do be cautious, the warnings on the store page are very well warranted

Airtight City 密闭之城1.0
Fantastic game !! The ambiance is awesome. The gameplay is very nice. The story (so far) seems to be good. It’s a perfect match of Resident Evil Like and Dead Space ! I hope that you will continue the developpment of this game! A lot of potential!!
If you need help with the translation, i might be able to help you ! Also, i suggest that you use DEEPL translator (Free on the web) for the translation part. Way better than google translate !
Thank you and please continue that game !!!

This is an early access title & work in progress.
The game provides a good atmospheric feel with it’s dark corridors & blood stained walls. The zombie combat is OK, but I would welcome the potential of future melee weapons as seen on the Dev’s version 2.0 video.
The gameplay is smooth (playing on a Ryzen 9 - RTX 3090) and the character controls are easy to learn.
For what I have played so far, I would be keen to play more once the Dev has progressed to version 2.0.

Bullet Witch
For both good and bad, Bullet Witch is a very Japanese game. It’s short (only six tiny stages, two of which will take place on the same exact map), rough, unpolished and doesn’t even look that good even for the seventh gen game (originally, it was an Xbox 360 exclusive). Also, the story is way too basic and way too straightforward. But at the same time, it has everything you like about Japanese titles. It has awesome design (ever wanted to play as a kick-ass witch with the broom-like gun?), it has some impressive cutscenes and moves, etc. Running through the ruined cities, summoning tornado and shooting the huge gun? That’s the stuff!

### “Underrated unique action shooter that might present flawed game designs, but still simply fun”
This review is based on perspective of old gaming standard (Bullet Witch is direct port from 2006 first release). So, you might expect some topics to be very subjective. (PC version 1.0.3)
Presentation & Story
Bullet Witch is a third-person shooter developed by Cavia (the studio behind well-known games such as Nier, Drakenguard, and Ghost in the Shell PS2). The game set on a post-apocalyptic time where you control witch Alicia to hunt down the source of supernatural demons.

BloodRayne 2 (Legacy)
Wow thought i did a revew already but steam says i have not so here it is . no secret i love this game note profile picture and steam name . so biased revew warning however i will try to give as much usefule information as i can .
I recomend purchase on sale ocashionally all the bloodrayne and older games go on sale for about a doller or so
the game is a third person action game uncomplicated game play and some platforming elements I am a person that hates platfomers Some of the death puzzles where you have to throw the bodies of dead enemys into certian locations to trigger an ending are a bit anoying but .

Better graphics, better audio, more platforming, better story with a more interesting cast of characters alongside more detailed interactive levels with puzzles. Gameplay has a more in-depth combat system with lock-on mode for blocking & maneuvering, a new combo system for melee/ranged, new useful powers for use once unlocked, just one gun but different firing modes while being give take once your out of ammo (health for ammo; yours or theirs) and melee/ranged has their own simple upgrades after using your guns a lot (more ammo reserves) or brutalizing enemies enough (new combos) lastly feeding gives you a choice of either healing or earning rage but you can do both just don’t expect to earn equal amounts. 3 modes now instead of 4 with Aura mode to spot enemies, Vampire Lairs & objectives; Rage mode for increased combat effectiveness and Dilated Perception for slow-mo. Each mode has a set of other sub abilities to further enhance your combat skill but all use Rage meter. As with the 1st game you get new skills as you progress with the game. Level interactions are a fun new way of dispatching foes permanently with even more destructible objects and lethal hazards to harpoon swing them at to get some health bonus if you succeed. The seldom Vampire lairs are a nice way to restock health and ammo and lastly more platforming segments to shake up the game. You aren’t making ground meat out of Nazis scum and demon spawns anymore as your dealing with different minions of Rayne’s half-relatives to stop them from carrying out their plans for Vampire dominance with a lot more character, personality & motivation then before. Not as much variety as the 1st game’s enemies some new completely new ones though but they have their own unique appearances depending on which half-relative they work for with few exceptions. Boss fights are more varied now requiring you to use different skills to pass but just as enjoyable. Main issues with the game are that cutscenes wont play unless your running the exe in Windows Vista Service Pack 2 compatibility mode, game likes to hang when your in the menu, game is buggy unless your limit the frames like the 1st game, AI difficulty spike is ridiculous, no difficulty selection like the 1st game, some puzzles are fun but some are just plain annoying and unfair not just due to the complexity of the puzzle but also some enemy encounters are rather ridiculous as they expect you to be a master at dealing with any situation against such insane odds like infinite waves of enemies that are a great pain when its the more elite much tougher much quicker foes. In summery a great sequel for the series that’s as brutal as it looks where you better know what your doing with the new mechanics to succeed in a more personal story that’s just as witty, bloody, sassy and sexy as before.

House of Velez part 1
Terrifying and one of the most gory games i’ve ever played.
Perhaps after playing this I can sit through a marathon of gory films and not even flinch. This game really surpasses the gore factor one comes to expect. After being desensitized to various media over the years, I thought I had seen it all. The death scenes in this game are so creative and so detailed, it truly left me shook and unable to even function sometimes.
The game-play is tense and death can happen at any moment, This game pays homage to various games that came before that started the genre of survival horror. Clock Tower, Haunting ground. The visuals of the game also remind of Silent Hill.

So I finally Beat part 1. What do I think about it? Yea it was fun :) The Dev is a good dude. Now for the flaws.
He’s really good with his Cutscenes. This gave me a really good vibe of D. That’s a real good thing.
Now this game isn’t for everyone.
! When it comes to the mannequin part in the safe room… I had a big big issue with this part because the way you get around it is to sneak right? Well, I had an Idea where I would hold the Y and B button before the Mannequin comes in, Now once she does the buttons actually reset. What I mean is that when I’m about to sneak… I start walking.

SUCCUBUS
Awesome fun. I’m really enjoying this game.
I play it using default Proton and performance is great on highest details. Only slow down was breaking a lot of bone barriers in short time, physics is making CPU work hard. I can’t compare that with Windows version, because I only have Linux. I suggest to use FakeHDR filter in vkBasalt to make it look a bit darker. Also sharpening maxed gives it better look.

If you liked Agony only for the setting, design and shock but disliked the gameplay, then this game is for you.
Madmind really listened to the players and made it actually fun to play while upping the shock factor.
I was sold the moment I beat a pregnant ladies belly and forced the fetus out only to turn around and slap her to death with her own babies fetus.
Madmind, thank you for not listening to critics and censoring your games. I honestly can’t wait to see your next game and hope that you push the boundaries even more.

To The Light
Quite simple 2D (RPGMaker?) RPG without leveling and with real time fights right on the map. In order to progress you have to collect gear and buffs. Be careful with item buffs because they are NOT infinite in uses and you may lose them permanently. You can use them again to temporary disable. For example, you may want to disable items when breaking large rotating crystals since they will explode, harm you and break a few buff items. And you have to break at least some of these to progress. Probably the most important buff is shield since I haven’t found where yo restock it and it opens paths blocked with spikes. A couple of secrets, a few easter eggs and multiple endings… well, kinda. You just either do everything right or end up with a wrong one. Don’t rush collecting all quantum piece, though, or you won’t be able to get 2 achievements for the wrong endings. Save often in different slots and you should be fine. Music is nice, art is pretty, story is bizarre and shown mostly with environment and short in-game animations. In case you desire more kinky stuff install both nude patches (look on community hub). Does it actually worth a full price? Not quite sure, but it ain’t bad. With good discount might worth to pick up.

This game could have been much better if it did not give conflicting information to the player.
For example some enemies you could hit, while others you can’t and you get hurt when you attack them. There is no indication that could help you identify this, so you have to experiment and lose lifes and restart or load again.
Another example is that some rocks could hurt you when you try to push them or hit them, while others don’t. Again how would the player know? many other example exists but I think these two gives a clear idea.

Age of Barbarian Extended Cut
Age of Barbarian - Extended Cut is a shameless love-letter to the ’80s swords-and-sorcery genre of B-movies and fantasy gaming, revelling in the stylings of Frazetta and Vallejo (with a little Erol Otus for seasoning). The player’s chosen protagonist — either Rahaan the chieftain’s son or Sheyna the former princess — carves their way through an array of fearsome and disgusting enemies, leaving lakes of blood and a trail of severed limbs and heads in their wake as they pursue the sorcerer Nekron and seek vengeance for the wrongs done to them.

Purchased and played first time with Patch 1.6.5
So - I never wrote a Steam-review so far, and also never bought a game from the Indie-section - so double-premier for me ^^
But this game - it really surprised me. Yep, it is not a Triple-A-Game, it was only made by one (!) developer. But, in contrast to a lot of the Greenlight-games flooding Steam this game is one of the rare examples where you can really see: The dev has some passion for this. And has put actual WORK into it! And he knows about the subject of “80”-sword and sorcery.

The Ghost of You
I love stories from the bottom of my heart – whether in form of a film, game or book. Even music tells stories, and when I stumbled across text-based game in the depths of Steam, I was very excited. The Ghost of You combines book and game incredibly well – while also telling a complex and unique story with many, many details and amazing, believable characters. The descriptions already create a dense atmosphere which is wonderfully supported by mainly piano music and some sound effects. The writing style is simply astonishing and pulls you deeper and deeper into poor Libretto’s life.

I just finished my first playthrough of this game, and I must say that I am absolutely blown away!
The characters, both the main cast and villains alike, are all endearing and loveable in their own ways. Everyone here has a story, and I felt myself driven to uncover as much as I could about everyone, and delightfully frustrated when the answers I wanted dangled just out of reach. The horror was well placed without coming across as cheesey or forced, and the music as well as charming 8bit visuals did an excellent job of setting the mood.
