Space Station Sprint

Space Station Sprint

Aside from the sliding that need to be adjusted in my opinion for more control for cancelling animation and turning while sliding (unless I am missing something) the game is lots of fun. The timer is always on your back so you need to make the best out of it using your utility, drops and shooting skills.

Let’s Play gameplay:

It also promote good replay value for obtaining collectibles and most importantly, permanent upgrades. This motivated me to go in again and again to make sure I get those as they are required if you want to survive higher difficulty levels as you progress.

I really like the aesthetic of this game!

But the gameplay mechanics, not so much.

The whole premise of the game is that you have to complete every level in a very tight time limit.

On the other hand, the game demands that you check carefully every every nook and cranny to find the hidden objectives and upgrades. And then to fumble with the use key to grab them. The enemies have too many healthpoints in a game where every seconds count. Running past them may seem the better option, except when you find them later all clustered in a door frame on your way back. Grenade and shockwave abilities feel like nothing, both in term of how little damage is dealt and how hardly visible they are. Then there’s the saber dwarf taking away half your hp on touch, without even having to play any hitting animation, making it quite undodgeable. Turrets everywhere, and even moving laser obstacle courses.

Art of Space

Art of Space

Note that this game is still in alpha and that the game experience may not be fully complete and bug-free.

What is ART OF SPACE ?

Do you love fast-paced 2D space shooters? Where timing is crucial and success is sweet? With lots of satisfying destruction and explosions? Then read no further, this should be very much to your liking. (Just kidding, do keep on reading.)

Art of Space is essentially madness, as can be seen below.

Inspired by online and offline space shooters of the last two decades, Art of Space aims to provide a similar feel/atmosphere, putting an emphasis on fun gameplay mechanics while the campaign is reminiscent of the early days of online gaming.

Art of Space gives you the chance to build a spaceship and tweak it to your very own tastes, both visually and stats-wise. This game is for people who love to try all sorts of different combinations to figure out that ONE sweet-spot build that feels just right.

If you’re more of a “mad skillz!!” person, you will love the combat in Art of Space as fast-paced is what we do, and perfect timing is what we love. Your spaceship is a modular machine that can be destroyed and rebuilt bit by bit, all in the heat of battle.

Meanwhile, our single-player story-driven campaign aims to provide a narrative around the world of Art of Space, while providing many hours of entertainment to the player.

For the price of a hot meal, here’s what this game offers:

  • Manoeuvre your weapon of destruction through hazardous asteroid fields as you take out foes and defend allies using a wide array of weapons and utilities.

  • Build a fully modular spacecraft from a pool of ship parts and weapons.

  • Tweak your ship’s stats and utility slots.

  • Follow along a story-driven campaign that will provide many hours of entertainment.

  • Test your skills in the Endless mode to see how you measure up to others, or just take it easy and use it as a playground to try out your newest configuration.

Nice twin stick shooter, with different map types. good although short sound track. tries to have rogue lite elements like ship upgrades, and while they are cool, i was able to unlock all of them right away (with the exception of 1 tier3 unlock). it almost feels as if those unlocks should just be like PowerUp drops during the game. but overall so far i have had a #Funtime

Real player with 8.3 hrs in game

Great game; this game gets more and more dynamic as you progress through the levels. It can get quite intense but the relaxing sound-track adds a nice balance. It seems to be well optimized for PC because it runs smooth and takes little storage. My favorite level so far is 10; maneuvering around the asteroids is good fun and makes a great scenery. I look forward to exploring the rest of the levels and arcade mode.

Aliens&Asteroids

Aliens&Asteroids

Chaotic, and most importantly : fun ! Works great, lots of power-ups, worth your time and money if you like space shooters that are going insane and throw ten thousands of enemies at you at the end because you won’t die :3

Real player with 8.2 hrs in game

Pros:

  • It’s fun.

  • Your ship has 3 unlimited uses active abilities.

  • Many powerups (most of them unlockables).

Cons:

  • Too grindy to get gems to unlock powerups.

  • Difficult to aim correctly.

  • Only 1 ship you can use.

I liked it even when I also played (and beat) Bit Blaster XL (Aliens & Asteroids has more content).

I give it a 7.5/10.

I played this game at PAX East this past April and enjoyed it so I ended up following through and purchasing the game. I absolutely love it. I find everything about it great:

-Going at high speeds through pulsars and gas giants and gaining even more speed

-Dodging obstacles left and right and zipping through debris

-The unique mechanic of being able to go from one side of the screen to the other

-The variety in solar systems (Thier colors, debris, and art style)

-Beautiful art style that is almost like a cartoon but is really quite amazing

## DEEP SPACE ANOMALY

It's a cheap game so you shouldn't expect much, which is exactly what you get, not much. You fly around without being able to tell if you're moving most of the time; controls are clunky and sometimes unresponsive. You do at least have to play to get the achievements, but since they don't count it doesn't matter much. Despite that, it's decent enough given the price, but there are 2 good reasons for the down vote.

1\. Somehow my perspective has been zoomed in to the point that my ship takes up about 10% of the screen. I have no idea how this happened and don't see any way to fix it.

This game is absolutely amazing !!

Why buy this game? It is very well processed. It has excellent technical performance and great playability. Overall, I like the space theme of the game and the features that the game uses. With this game I see great gameplay and future. It's just amazing. As a game developer, I say it's really great. In addition, my friend created this game.

One mistake the game has, and here it is at its gameplay at a very low price at the steady. Otherwise, undoubtedly, for me, the best of space games I've ever played!

## Descent Vector: Space Runner

**Introduction**

Descent vecor is an endless space runner by Heavy Pepper Inc. with procedurally generated levels, I came across this game during Steam Next Fest and really liked the demo. I received a free copy for beta testing. It has a simple concept but it works really well. It also has pleasing graphics with an endless supply of space stations, space crafts, brackets and asteroids for you to dodge. I play a lot shmups and to me it feels a bit like a rail shooter without having to shoot anything which I somehow find quite relaxing.

## Galaxy Ball

[Technically Speaking](https://store.steampowered.com/curator/39101226/)

### Settings: 3/10

·Below the sound sliders there's a mysterious slider. It changes the weight of the ball. Turning it all the way down makes the game unplayable, turning it up makes the game easier.

-There is no option to change the resolution.

### Interface: 4/10

-Many things, including the main menu, are not labeled in any way and at first it's hard to tell what is what.

### Gameplay: 3/10

+It controls fine (you can change how fine with the setting).

## Orbitality

### Unpossible

I have a game on my tablet that looks just like this, but better in every way. It looks better, plays better, sounds better, shows more polish, offers more challenge, and was overall much more satisfying.

This game appears to be a broken copy of that exact game.

Right away I was blasted with very loud and really annoying music. I went for the settings I n the corner of the screen and tried clicking it, but the settings button didn't work.

Not a good sign.

Out of the box it supports 21:9 ultrawide, which was great. The graphics were garish and bland. The background looked pixelated and not terribly attractive. The game lacks a certain visual polish overall that make it a bit hard on the eyes.

Slightly over priced, but decent endless runner.. With good discount it is a nice buy.
