Hell is Other Demons
This game is super fun. Buy it. You will not be disappointed.
INTRO
I heard about this game from the Indie James YouTube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YdTpHlyw1s
I was immediately hooked to the music and art style, and came over to Steam and bought the game. For ten bucks, this game is an absolute STEAL.
GAMEPLAY
Everything feels smooth and alliterative; many separate systems work together extremely well and the game has been play-tested into oblivion from what I can tell. Whenever something happens that causes you to die, you feel like it’s your fault, and not the game’s fault. I can’t stress enough how important that is in a game that plays like this, and for gameplay that goes as fast as this.

Hectic and great arcade bullet hell fun with stunning graphics (with an own touch). On top of that we are also being served an excellent, pumping, synth-wave soundtrack (a couple of tracks with that distorted, heavy metal, electric guitar that we all love as well) that just reeks of what we want to remember the 80’s were like.
I have no complaints what so ever. I could understand some people wanting a longer campaign mode (yes, it was quite short and I wouldn’t mind more) but I kind of see that whole part of the game as a tutorial or “getting to know the game”. It’s in the arcade style modes that the game really shines. Trying to climb the global leader boards. Trying the characters that all feel and play differently from each other. On top of that, you are also given a good upgrade system, great controls and sound effects that do their job. What I initially thought would be a quick little fun ended up being quite addictive.

Hyperspace Dogfights
Updated Review:
Excellent game, 269 hours of playtime (with still more stuff to unlock and do; I only have 98% completion, with a new major update on the way (No Masters, that is)!), excellent potential for challenge runs, and, in my opinion, overall a nigh-flawless example of roguelikes.
By the way, here’s one tip that’s very helpful: If you’re being tracked by a homing missile, a square crosshair will follow you. If you jump while that crosshair is on an enemy, you’ll shift the missile lock to that enemy, thus causing it to seek out that enemy instead of you. Using that trick, you can avoid always needing the Flares active to shrug off missiles (For.. maybe 12 hours or so? I didn’t know that, and so I couldn’t drop Flares without dying, or play any other jet, and I’d frequently die because Flares ran out of charges. Then I saw a loading screen tip.)

GENERAL OVERVIEW
Hyperspace Dogfights is a side scroller shooter set in an weird sci-fi setting with familiar tropes and wild cards. Requiring a decent bit of skill of both maneuverability skills to evade fire and using the capability to enter a controlled stall to dish fire at the enemies on your six or to shoot an enemy from where they least expect.
The game takes inspiration from games like Luftrausers but offers a completely different game experience with a level of progression through unlocks for later playthroughs such as new fighter choices with different starting gear or more gear unlocked to come by in later games.

Steredenn
Yes, get it.
Some thoughts on it:
Steredenn is not infinite per se (Ala Rick Henderson, though I have not played that yet), as each run goes for a set number of stages if you can handle it.
Graphically the game is quite clever with the graphical design; it is super consistent. The sprites are inda bulky, but lends to improved visibility. The bullet patterns are never too tight that they cannot be manuverd plus the combination of enemy waves and bulltet patterns will always pose an interesting challenge to sort out.. The ships do have a tiny hit box, it is clearly shown at the beginning of the stage, a small reticule around your ships zooms in into the cockpit, clearly indicating the weak spot. Quite clever. The game has a cool way of displaying vital info on the sihp itself. Like the light that traverses your ship to indicate reloading times. Playing without the HUD is almost entirely possible.

Most of the time when I start a new game, I feel like I have a pretty good idea of what to expect from it. Once in a while though, you can really be caught off guard and surprised. Steredenn is one of those games that surprised me, and fortunately it was a good one. It is a game that combines an old genre with a clever twist to produce something fresh and fun.
At its core, Steredenn is a horizontal shoot ‘em up. Many shmups require large amounts of memorization in order to be successful. Steredenn alters that idea by having semi-randomly generated stages. It works well, and the end result is that no two runs will be exactly the same. Not only are the stages randomly generated, but so are the upgrades and weapon drops. There are also hazards that may appear such as asteroid fields, meteor showers, laser rain, and more. Initially it can be very difficult to dodge some things. I recall seeing a few waves that I thought were impossible to dodge, but upon further practice I was able to solve them as if they were puzzles.

Vintage Year
Vintage Year has its pros and cons, which we will be going over, as well as what its about, as well as what it is.
Vintage Year is a Indie Topdown Roguelike Shoot-em-up, that relies on strategy, speed, and stealth.
While playing you can collect corks, which can be used in the menus after you die to buy things like other unique characters, for example.
It can be compared to Teleglitch, Nuclear Throne, The Binding of isaac, and many other games like that.

Hey everyone and this is my review about the game!
This is a Rogue like game.
Interface/Menu/Settings
There are different game modes.
No options.
About the game.
You have to kill enemies in order to exit the current level. There are traps, mini bosses, bosses, events and many more. You can choose between multiple characters with different attributes. You get money in-game which you could spend to upgrade or buy unlockments. You will not lose the money if you die or quit. Melee camera is a bit weird and If you hack an enemy and you hit them. the camera is totally going away from your character. So you will not see yourself and the enemy for a second. Bullets are bouncing at walls, so u could use that to kill an enemy who is hiding. Once you have spawned on a level you will remain invisible, so you can scout ahead first and every area. Enemies will not harm you unless it is a boss.

Infernal Racket
This game is just… fun! Makes me fell young again just smashing stuff. The random levels and upgrades/perks mean if you take the game too seriously you may have a bad time, but if you’re just looking for light, satisfying gameplay it’s really a gem of a game. A gem you can destroy for points!
I do have one wish: It’d be reallllllllllllllly nice if there was a way to quickly restart both during a game and when you die. You will die a lot.

(To preface this, I did receive this game for free after having been one of the top testers for this game a couple years ago.)
Infernal Racket (formerly known as “Glass Breaker”) is a simple, lil’ roguelike where you bomb about many different levels, vandalising much glassware and other such decor to find your way to the Legendary Diamond, all the while collecting admittedly basic but (usually) effective upgrades through levelling up and weaving between the platforms and bullet hell this game provides.

Rogue’n Roll
Good game.
Achievements are hard but you can earn it.
And you can get trading cards.

The game is not completed yet.The items are not discribed and the level system is kind of wild. When you level up,you can roll a slot machine one time. There are nothing to strengthen your character after your death unless you have a chance to unclock some new weapons or skills.
P.S: A lot of useless weapons and skills.
Auto-pickup is terrible.
After I get all the achievements(it takes some time and patient),finally I found it is somehow like the Alien Shooter.Play this game, and it will improve your shooting skills.

Gone Viral
If you want to make comparisons to other games, this is Enter The Binding of Smash TV, and if you understood that reference, this game is for you.
It doesn’t take itself seriously because it can’t, there’s just no way to sell this tone other than zany and over the top, so if you’re looking for gritty it ain’t here. I’m a big fan of twin stick roguelikes, but a common complaint I hear when I try to attract my friends to the genre is that they don’t want to take the time to slowly, painfully learn all the item effects and enemy patterns to be able to string together a good run. In your first few runs of Gone Viral, it doesn’t matter what the mutations do, pick them up, they’re fun. Are they good for your build? Who cares, they’re fun. Figuring out the cool interplay between different mutations can come later, and it will, through natural gameplay experimentation.

Im giving this game a thumps up cause im havin fun while playing it but im going to give an honest review hoping that the devs will see it. The game is actually a mele Isaac clone with better graphics and music BUT it lacks in relics big time (i know its still in early access) and you never get these “overpowered” runs you would get in Isaac.. It also lacks in enemies and you find the same ones (6-7 types of enemies) again and again. The bosses are actually fun and interesting. The events need a bit balance cause many times you get in rooms full of enemies and with the events together its super sure that you ll get damaged..The drops need a bit balance too cause there are many runs that you cant even find enough shields..The main character is fun with nice skills but the rest two characters are 99% unplayable. The second character needs to never get dmg or find extremely many shields (and this happens 1 in 50 runs) and the third character has the slowest attack in the history of videogames and if you miss it you get dmg so its unplayable too.. i feel that these 2 characters need a huge rework..A ranged character would be fun i think (i know that there are ranged weapons but still its not sure if you ll find one or not).. The game is nice and the whole idea too but the game needs balancing and reworks to be a super great game.. I hope we see more relics and more unique ones in the next updates so every runs is different than the last one. 7/10

Dashing Fire
Finding the game very fun, i haven’t beaten it yet but i find the game tense and tight. The design is very thoughtful and encourages tactical decision making. Also the art of the game is very nice. The few things i have against the game is I fins it much too easy to buy shortcuts before you’ve been to an area, practically disincentives playing the game, the other thing is that after playing for a while some of the areas can get quite repetitive. Other than those small gripes the games is great and would definitely recommend to any fans of rogue likes.

This is such a cool little indie game! It’s so worth it! It’s basically a point and click rogue-like but it has way more depth to it then just that. There are 4 worlds for you to discover and traverse around, each with their own unique gameplay mechanic. In each world, there are 3 levels which once completed you will face one of three random bosses for that area. If you complete all 4 worlds, you fight the final boss to complete the story but there is so much replayability as you can earn currency to spend on lore and short-cuts.

Immortal Redneck
This game is truly one of the best Arcade FPS’s I’ve played. It combines so many great elements from different games in such a way that creates incredibly fast paced, fun game-play. That being said, there are a few small things that could be done to bring Immortal Redneck from greatness to near perfection.
One of the best parts of Immortal Redneck is the Redneck himself. He’s just a genuinely fun and engaging character. Just like Borderlands, it pays to give the character you’re playing some personality. The opening cinematic immediately got me excited to kill some varmits. The majority of his dialogue is fantastic. From switching weapons, to paying the pyramid toll, he’s just a great character to hear/play. Id say the only downside is that his dialogue doesnt feel complete. He only has lines to say about encountering like 2 kinds of enemies. Id like them to add dialouge for encountering/killing more enemies, and critical kills. Honestly I just cant get enough of the redneck.

What we have here is a first-person shooter rogue-lite thing with cartoony artstyle and some nosense excuse plot about a redneck who is captured by monsters and mummified while on vacation in Egypt, only to break out of his sarcophagus and go on a rampage through some pyramids.
You go from room to room, clearing them of enemies and hunting for bonus chests, until you progress up the pyramid and eventually conquer it. Repeat 3 times for 3 different pyramids.
I’m enjoying it a lot, it runs nice and smooth, and it gets it’s fast-paced retro-insipred shooting done well. Total package is well worth the money in my opinion.
