Quake Champions

Quake Champions

This is Quake brought to a new era! Quake Champions is simply the fastest, most rewarding and fun FPS available. You can dabble in other games, but at the end of the day once you’ve completed the single player campaign in a day or two or even spent a while in the multiplayer, Quake is the one game you keep returning to. Nothing beats careering around the map, boosting yourself along or up in the air by throwing a rocket under your own feet or against a wall, flipping around and taking out an opponent with a well-placed rail, or frying them with your lightning gun if they’re still close enough.

From the company who brought you the Golden Horse Armor DLC that started the (unwanted) DLC and microtransaction craze, and more recently, the epic (disappointment) game Fallout 76, comes the Quake III / Quake Arena / Quake Live reboot, Quake Champions!

Are you a veteran Quake III player who wants to feel like a boss? This game is for you! Are you a noob who wants to get pwned and be a constant punching bag for a group of elite players? This game is for you! Are you a regular player who wants to spend countless hours attempting to learn all the tricks and tips and attempt to reach godly Rapha levels of expertise (but likely never get there)? This game is for you!

Vandalhalla

Vandalhalla

This game has a really interesting premise that I hella wanna try out more of. It can benefit from better implementation of certain things, but it NEEDS singleplayer bot support. (F2P playing against bots was what got me into AFPS games in the first place.) At the moment, whenever you’re not playing with other humans, the only thing available is the parkour mode, and that’s it. (Parkour mode is pretty neat though). IMO, to address playercount, a game like this would benefit from doing a free-to-play model like TOXIKK or does ‘huge-selection-roster’ games like Paladins or League of Legends, where the base gameplay is free, but other supplemental stuff is purchased (e.g. new weapons not on free rotation, visual customization, etc).

Waited for an hour for matchmaking and didn’t find one. Movement is very bare bones and not fun.

Dirty Bomb®

Dirty Bomb®

Dirty Bomb is a fast paced shooter with parkour elements and great gunplay with large, multiple objective maps.

For each match you build a squad of 3 mercenaries (“mercs”) you can switch to with each respawn cycles. This gives you a lot of variety in how you approach certain situations and which role to take in the team. Although each merc can perform any action the game requires, different mercs excel at certain tasks: medics can revive downed players quickly, engineers can repair, plant and defuse faster and combat mercs have “bigger” guns and more health. However, every merc is fully capable of winning a fire fight, so there’s no need for medics to camp it out in the back.

Update: They don’t. Stay clear of these reprehensible developers at all costs. They are run by extremely condescending and egotistical degenerates that:

talk down to to paying customers and lie to their audience to cover up incompetent game design and complete lack of a roadmap;

add characters to the game to its detriment so they can crutch on them in public lobbies;

ignore player feedback while not having any personal ingame experience;

remove dissenting PTS voices;

skip the QA process resulting in entirely nonfunctional updates;

Shoot!

Shoot!

What is “Shoot!”?

Have you ever think about being a superhero? We have! And that’s why we created “Shoot!”. In this game, you have to destroy the targets that appear in front of you. But it’s not that simple. You can only kill bad guys, but the good ones like to appear in front of them, so you have to be careful.

Gadgets

When you complete each level, you will receive a device (shield watches, night vision helmet, etc.), that will be useful in the next level.

Special bullets

In the shop, you can buy special bullets. These bullets can help you defeat your enemies a gain more points.

Level diferencies

In some levels, not only you shoot against the bad guys, but the bad guys can shoot back at you, so you have to be careful.

What to expect?

You will use your gadgets, special bullets, and most importantly your brain. You can challenge your friends and find out who is the best superhero.

Conclusion

Yeah, I know you don’t want to read anymore, you want to fly into space with a jetpack, shoot aliens and rescue astronauts, or go rescue the police in a dark city. Don’t wait and try it now!

Planned features

  • Multiplayer

  • More levels

  • More gadgets

Every month we will ask our followers on IG, what they want to be added next. So make sure you are following us.

Project Boost

Project Boost

First of all, i have been privileged to be a tester for Project Boost.

This game is not your ordinary shooter; hereby it is not for everyone. Project Boost is hard and it requires, at least speaking from my own 6 in-game hours, a learning curve. Although it does possess the basic mechanics of most shooters, it comes pack with gameplay elements which i will refer as uncharacteristic for the genre. Project Boost is frankly both a frustrating but satisfying experience in the end.

I will recommend Project Boost for it delivers for an indie shooter game but i stress once again - it is not for everybody. If you like a difficult game, this game will certainly please you!

Project Boost

Project Boost is a brand spanking new fast-paced, third-person shooter. Right off the bat, the game starts on a chaotic rampage without much context.

As I started to progress the game slowly limped together the whole plotline. The way it’s done and presented could’ve been improved. The game had already lost me in its chaotic, fast-paced shooter scenario before I figured out the plotline.

## Protoball

If you are a fan of games such as Rocket League and enjoy FPS games (you don't specifically have to enjoy FPS games) I can recommend you giving this a try.

Before jumping into public games I recommend joining the discord of the game https://discord.com/invite/protoball you can find this link at the bottom of the main menu of the game. There is a Tutorials section that contains guides from experienced players in the game that will teach you things that the tutorial doesn't get to yet.

Doing the tutorial is also a recommendation but you could encounter a "bug" that isn't actually a bug.

Protoball,

Oh boy where do I begin here, I've been in the arena since the early days of development so I've gotta admit I'm a bit biased towards the concept of the game. Given that, it has a high replay-ability and it keeps me coming back to be the best player I can be in the earliest stages of what I see to be a great future competitive eSport. As a person who frequents FPS games like Valorant, CS:GO, Apex and Rocket League, I find this to be of the same repeat-ability and enjoyment to just hop in a game for both fun and competitive play styles. Sure there may be some bugs here and there, but that's what being a part of the Early Access is for. We've gotta smooth out the experience for others to enjoy the underlying game we all love and know can be successful. At this point, I as well as many others are committed to bringing you the best enjoyment out of this game as humanly possible. So join a server and come along for the ride. As for the Dev team, you know I love you guys and I'll never stop coming back to Protoball, we're in it for the long haul!

## Fabula Mortis

Don't bother

Lighting and Shadows are bugged causing it to flicker and stretch across the screen and as soon as I try to host a game (since there is no servers so you can only play against bots) all audio goes missing.

When the shadows and lighting was not flickering and stretching across my screen the maps looked alright

*– [Real player with 15.5 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197997992108)*

Fabula Mortis is an online FPS Arena Shooter. There's a variety of characters with different weapons and abilities to choose from.

While the graphics are very nice thanks to the Unreal Engine, the gameplay itself is standard, boring Unreal FPS. Furthermore, the game is completely dead. It's multiplayer only and there's no servers.

There are many other, better arena shooters (especially with heavyweights like Epic and Blizzard in the market), so it's understandable this very mediocre entry hasn't succeeded and is now dead.

## Radio Viscera

This is a very tentative thumbs up because the game is decent fun, but it's marred by technical issues (walls with no collision detection, sound bugs, black frames) and a couple gameplay flaws (the camera). Here's hoping future patches address some of these concerns.

If you're using doors instead of blasting through walls, you're doing it wrong. It's a nice take on a twin stick shooter where you can't kill or defeat things by shooting at them, but instead shooting them *into* things.

I love all the glitchy visual effects. Game is very light on story and humour is definitely very weird, but I'm liking it so far.
