Defunct
If you look at Defunct as just a game to complete once by playing the campaign, you’re going to be disappointed. It is very short, especially for the $10CAD price tag, with me beating the game in around 50 minutes the first time I played.
However, I soon discovered the real game begins with the Time Trials. My first impressions of the game were positive, especially with the $0.99CAD deal I bought it for, But with the Time Trials, which takes sections from the campaign and chops them into their own levels, I soon realized that these were true appeal of the game.

Gotta go fast…or at least try to. Defunct is a game about a little broken robot who has gotten lost and is trying to get home. Despite malfunctioning a little and not reaching the same speeds as his robotic buddies, with enough momentum he can really zoom. This is a simple game, most levels are just you rolling towards the end goal while some add certain goals and puzzles. A great title for those into speed runs.

Art of Space
Note that this game is still in alpha and that the game experience may not be fully complete and bug-free.
What is ART OF SPACE ?
Do you love fast-paced 2D space shooters? Where timing is crucial and success is sweet? With lots of satisfying destruction and explosions? Then read no further, this should be very much to your liking. (Just kidding, do keep on reading.)
Art of Space is essentially madness, as can be seen below.
Inspired by online and offline space shooters of the last two decades, Art of Space aims to provide a similar feel/atmosphere, putting an emphasis on fun gameplay mechanics while the campaign is reminiscent of the early days of online gaming.
Art of Space gives you the chance to build a spaceship and tweak it to your very own tastes, both visually and stats-wise. This game is for people who love to try all sorts of different combinations to figure out that ONE sweet-spot build that feels just right.
If you’re more of a “mad skillz!!” person, you will love the combat in Art of Space as fast-paced is what we do, and perfect timing is what we love. Your spaceship is a modular machine that can be destroyed and rebuilt bit by bit, all in the heat of battle.
Meanwhile, our single-player story-driven campaign aims to provide a narrative around the world of Art of Space, while providing many hours of entertainment to the player.
For the price of a hot meal, here’s what this game offers:
-
Manoeuvre your weapon of destruction through hazardous asteroid fields as you take out foes and defend allies using a wide array of weapons and utilities.
-
Build a fully modular spacecraft from a pool of ship parts and weapons.
-
Tweak your ship’s stats and utility slots.
-
Follow along a story-driven campaign that will provide many hours of entertainment.
-
Test your skills in the Endless mode to see how you measure up to others, or just take it easy and use it as a playground to try out your newest configuration.

Time Up
Really good game if you want a pretty solid platformer for only a dollar. I don’t really care about the music, I don’t play this game with volume up anyways. Even though the game only gives you 9 seconds, in the first few tries you might be able to learn and memorize the pattern and ways of the level. I disagree with allowing a preview of the level before starting, that would just ruin the whole idea of the game, which is a fast paced platformer game.

Im sorry but this game is not really good, maybe for 2$ to kill time, but here are some reasons I just dont recommend it:
-It feels too much like a Super Meat Boy clone. The double jump spins just like a certain character in the game, the levels are filled with saws to increase difficulty, and the player is square.
-Speaking of the player, who even is he? The game doesn’t really define who he is, for all I know, he is some Tiny Minecraft Wizard ripped out of an iPhone app.
-This game has more achievements than Zup! 1. I hope thats not the selling point.

At the time of writing, I have yet to finish the story (on what I assume is the last few levels). I wanted to write a quick review and warn about multiple flashing screens throughout the game that may cause epilepsy, including the very first one on start up. So if you are sensitive to flashing light, I’d suggest passing this one up for now.
NAMELESS is a top-down shooter about an ex-con who is tasked with going up against his own people to save hostages and hopefully get freedom. The game implores both stealth and run-and-gun tactics with a variety of leathal and non-leathal weaponry. You complete rooms by killing or knocking out all enemies. Every so often, you can get coins and buy weapons. There is also a cloak mechanic that helps with sneaking and getting away in tight situations.

Night Catcher
Well it’s a Puzzle game, you will get jumpscared the first time then it becomes an annoyance!
The first half of the game is a puzzle solving game, until you meet the android.
I suggest you get a good headphone to listen to the footsteps and evade the Robot, in some parts the footsteps are everywhere so you won’t be able to predict we’re the robot is so you will have to GO FOR IT and hope for the best.
The sounds are fine, the music is fine, there is one part of the game that you will hate so much because you would be required to do a lot with no check points in between.

This game reminds me of Case Animatronics, but that’s ok, The atmosphere is not bad, and good thing there is no loud SFX that disrupts your ear health, let’s come to cons, The AI Robot girl is annoying, There are too many door keys, The station is too big, there is no much intresting puzzles
6.5/10, You can give a chance to this game!

Outset
Welcome to Outset.
Outset is a 2D platformer RPG being developed for PC and Mac. You control an Explorer, a wanderer tasked with searching the surrounding world and ideally finding something useful to bring back to your home - the village of NOTDON.
But how will you do that? With your GRAPPLING HOOK!
This stylish tool lets you speed across gaps and barrel through the world in a gameplay loop that combines fast-flowing platforming and nonlinear exploration. It’ll even impress the other Explorers (for better or for worse) and make you the talk of the town, for the first time ever!
Along the way, you’ll encounter ferocious foes, navigate the world, and maybe uncover some secrets about the world around you and your place in it.
…
Nah, of course you won’t! It’s just a game where you fight robots and try not to die! Just a fun, friendly, little game…
…right?
FEATURES:
-
Master your grappling hook and its slew of upgrades to discover new locations and secrets
-
Learn about the world around you through gameplay, new discoveries, and LOTS of (mostly optional) flavortext
-
Forge your own path… nonlinearly! Every dialogue choice and navigational decision will significantly change the story and the path forward.
-
Explore the 6 distinct regions of a massive, interconnected world (this is an indie game, though. It won’t an AAA open-world game in 2D. But it will be big. But not that big. But still big. But not…)
-
Get hustled by no less than 2 very similar shopkeepers
-
Witness the evolution and impact of humanity firsthand (this means that major areas in the game will change and adapt based on the story)
-
Take a nap
-
And many more!
On track for a release in early 2022… hopefully!

Red Goddess: Inner World
Does the thought of helping a young goddess regain all her former power and wisdom appeal to you? Then this might just be the game for you.
Enter the mind of Devine, a troubled young goddess with a lot of burdens to bear. Starting off as weak and powerless she searches a forgotten realm for the memories of a life long lost and gradually gains the strength to take on her unknown enemy.
The characters in this game are great; I wanted to learn so much more about them and the world in which they inhabit. The story was very intriguing as well; although it is somewhat easy to figure out I was still very happy to see its conclusion. The game is not overly long but its long enough to get your money’s worth in my opinion, especially if you plan on collecting coins and character skins.

The first thing that sticks out when you play Red Goddess: Inner World are the visuals. While hard to describe the visuals in Red Goddess: Inner World are great. I think the visuals are the best part of the game.
Red Goddess: Inner World is more than just the visuals. The game plays like a Metroidvania game. Most of the game involves platforming and fighting. The platforming is not highly original but it is enjoyable. Like a Metroidvania game you will end up revisiting several areas of the game world that you already visited once you have gained new abilities that let you access new areas you couldn’t reach before.

RUNNER HEROES: The curse of night and day
Welcome to the newest Runner of 2020. A fresh take on the genre awaits you with mega platforming action! Our heroes, Lyssa and Colwyn, have been trapped in opposite times of day; Lyssa trapped in the darkness of night, while Colwyn is trapped in the light of day. You will be controlling both characters (unless you play in co-op) in a world divided in half by night and day, and the two characters will have to work together to beat the Red Witch and return the kingdoms back to the people. The Red Witch’s army is strong, and the world is full of pitfalls, traps, and danger; it will not be an easy journey defeating her. You will have some abilities to help in your adventure (in addition to your ability to move out or in on the playing field): Jumping, Dash and the use of Magic to help to balance your struggle with the Red Witch. Good Luck, adventurers; may your journey be as much fun as mine.

Time-Skip
This is an interesting game and fun to play. Some of the obstacles are hard yet fun to figure out. I had fun playing this game since it kinda reminded be of playing Dishonored mixed with a Platformer Genre. Cool graphics and the maps are well detailed. One guy made all this happen, a cool new experience. What will he make next?
