Farmer’s Fairy Tale

Farmer’s Fairy Tale

I like the style of game. It’s quite relaxing, with no rush to complete main quests. The “timers” on certain quests is only for the extra reward and not essential to the storyline quests. The graphics are nice, the conversations and flow of the story are quite funny (in a somewhat lame kind of way). The game was a little buggy at first, but the upjers team responded to me quite fast and were very helpful to solve the problem.

I had added this game to my wishlist before it came out because it had looked so interesting. After I took the leap of faith in buying it, spending almost an hour non-stop on it, I am very pleased with this game! I was like, “FINALLY”, a game that I can do my own relaxed farming but still have objectives. Not to mention the storyline, graphics, and game sounds are not too shabby at all. They put thought into it and you can zoom in and out of the world, making the control gameplay very easy to handle. It feels like stardew valley with the concept of adding items adds energy, eat food get energy, as well as my time at portia by gathering materials and then having to craft objects. Doesn’t take a long time to get materials. I can already tell I am going to be wasting a good portion of my life on this game. Great job Farmer’s Fairy Tale!

Farm Frenzy Collection

One of my favorite games! I first started playing it a decade ago on WildTangent and became obsessed. And my partner loves to watch me play, too! The bears are his favorite part. I love the fun animals and progressively more challenging levels. Sometimes the answer is patience- and bears. When I saw it on Steam, all these years later, I was excited to find it on sale. Now I can project it on to the big screen TV and we can play to our hearts' content.

Warning alert! This game is fun and addicting! If a puzzle married farming simulator, the baby would be Farm frenzy collection. I am sorry to have played a pirated versions, until I found the whole series for more than modest price on one of Steam sales, compared to how much fun it gave me.

Pros:

  • Kids firendly!

  • 12 games for the price of one!

  • Doesn’t require very powrfull PC or a lot of disk space.

  • Engaging gameplay!

  • Puzzles to solve!

  • Zero violence.

  • Lovely cartony graphics.

  • Different from one of those annoying Facebook farming games.

Most of the positive reviews of this game are joke reviews and some of the negative reviews complain about the adult aspects of the game I am going to try to give an objective informational review so you can make a good choice for you as to if you want this game or not .

The reason my review is negative is a personal view based on game play . that has nothing to do with the nudity or sexual content of this game .

I hate censorship with a passion however .

The first thing you need to know about twins of the pasture is this is not a game for children . As a matter of fact do not let any children you are in charge of read any further than this sentence Unless you are ok with discussing sexual matters of a possible deviant nature with said child I will try not to be to graphic .But I feel in order to describe the product I am going to be using some words of a sexual nature

I will be blunt and outright state that the general gameplay is not good. The characters move rather slow, many features seem half realized, and the game leaves you to your own devices after the intro. After that point, you go through the motions, testing every option until you finally get to the next H scene.

That said, I still recommend it for those who know what they’re getting into. After all, we’re not really here for engaging gameplay; we’re here because we are men of culture. There are 21 H events and about 170 CGs (keep in mind that includes images with slight differences) in total. In terms of contents, these scenes mostly involve prostitution, with two containing bestiality. The overall focus is on the moral degradation of the two protagonists and one side character. If any of these topics don’t sit right with you, then you should probably ignore this game.

After washing ashore on Softshoal Island, you are given a chance at a new life. A plot of land awaits your green thumb to transform it into a booming farm, and a new world beckons you to explore its secrets.

Farm Folks offers a delightful mix of RPG and farming mechanics, giving you the freedom to get lost in the world while you build a farm from the ground up. There are many friends to be made, many crops and animals to tend, and a whole island to discover. What are you waiting for?

As you begin to nurture your plot, uncover great mysteries, and meet the citizens of the island, you’ll experience the everlasting magnificence of your new home first-hand–all while you rekindle the memories from your past that caused you to embark on this grand, exciting adventure in the first place. You never would have guessed that finding your purpose in life was just a shipwreck away…

In Farm Folks, live your life as you see fit–there are so many experiences to be had! Working the land and rearing animals is a bunch of fun, but there is so much more on offer here. Let’s run through what you can expect:

It wouldn’t be much of a farming simulator without farming, would it? Farm Folks features the time-tested farming mechanic in which players can purchase or forage seeds and begin to grow their farm into a bountiful and rewarding resource.

Once the soil is tilled and the seeds are nestled firmly into the ground, it’s time for some TLC–Tender Loving Care. You’ll water your plants daily, either by hand or through other means, until each crop has reached its maturation and it’s ready for harvest. Harvesting your hard-earned bounty can reward you in many ways, but if you’re focusing on that bottom line, then it’s time to put some coin in your purse.

After loading your haul onto your trusty mount, you’ll head into town and sell your goods to the island’s exporters. As your purse grows fatter and fatter, the farming process can be enhanced and streamlined until you’re running the island’s most booming farm.

Soon you’ll be wondering if it’s time to invest in one of those fancy mainland automobiles….or maybe someone who can help out around the farm…

Softshoal Island’s farmland is so very fertile because of the island’s local animal population and the generations they’ve spent grazing every acre of the luscious landscape. Today, farmers can continue to reap the rewards of Softshoal’s four-legged (and two-legged!) friends by giving them homes on your property.

The local forester is also a great carpenter, and he’ll make any kind of coop or stable that’s available–for a price, of course. Once the structure is built, you’ll need to stop by the nearby animal breeder to purchase some healthy livestock! Before you know it, you’ll be in the ranching business. Milk, eggs, and wool, oh my!

Nurture and care is key to making sure your livestock is producing worthwhile products. The happier your animal companions are, the higher the quality of their yield! Make sure you’ve got your brushes and special feed handy!

Sometimes reward is found outside the fences of your farm. You’ll need to explore the wonderful and diverse settings of Softshoal to find the valuable items that can’t be found on a shelf in the local general store. These resources include minerals and materials for upgrading your tools–usually mined from Softshoal’s extensive cave system, or fish and other precious sea life that can be fished from the island’s various rivers, lakes and coastlines.

Your progression is enhanced by what you find in the wilds of Softshoal, and sometimes searching for something trivial can lead to a grand adventure you never saw coming. Get out there and see what you can find–don’t forget your pickaxe and fishing rod!

Softshoal’s local community is a character-rich roster of living and breathing souls, all of which are just waiting to share their story with you. From those that live in the island’s coastal town, Port Meridia, to those found out in the wilds, Farm Folks features a diverse, well-thought cast of over thirty characters.

You’ll meet them, find ways to further your relationships with them, and soon you’ll know each one by name. These citizens offer quests a-plenty, and spout dialogue that’ll keep you coming back for more. High relationships come with high rewards, but don’t think everybody in Softshoal is going to be easy to please…

The seeds you sow in the community will quickly begin to bear fruit. However, you better be careful not to grow weeds! Build your relationships with townsfolk by giving them gifts, attending special events, performing quests, and remembering their birthdays. Earn enough favor and maybe the townsfolk will begin giving you gifts in kind. Some nuts are harder to crack than others, but with some finesse, they just might come around. You never know - you might even find love out there.

There’s beauty and intrigue found in every corner of Softshoal. It’s a compelling place that calls the player ever further into the mysterious woods, down into the dangerous caves. As you explore, you’ll see things that you’ll never forget and you’ll experience adventures worth re-telling.

And where better to relay your stories of heroism than back in Port Meridia? This fair-sized town has plenty of places to kick back and enjoy a day away from the farm, but it’s also home to the many festivals that you don’t want to miss!

Every season brings with it a great calendar of holidays that are perfect cause for celebration. You’ll find the townsfolk have a festival for nearly every one of those occasions. Make sure you’re there!

Your character is a reflection of your personality (we assume that deep inside, everyone is an attractive, island-dwelling farmer). As such, they can be customized in any way you desire, including your gender. After creating a glorious persona, we know there will be fashionistas who want to take it a step further. Want to give them a more epic hairstyle or outfit? Visit the barber or tailor! You will soon become a shining star in the farming community.

And so much more!

Farm Folks is whatever you make of it. It’s an adventure driven entirely by you. There is so much more to discover and so much more fun to be had when you get creative. Live this pleasant life to the best of your abilities and become the greatest farmer that Softshoal has ever seen!

The Stillness of the Wind

The Stillness of the Wind

I cant say as i regret playing this but if someone asked me if they should play it, i would say no and thats why i decided on a thumbs down.

Firstly if, like me, you expected a farm simulator of some kind you would be very wrong. Do not get if you have that in mind.

The only two things i enjoyed enough to note are the visual style and the writing. This game has a very nice visual style, simple but pleasant and enjoyable. The writing is very artsy and poetic.

There are many things i did not enjoy. Nothing about the game is explained at any point other than the blurb on the store page. Its easy enough to get the point and click controls though. The story is unclear, difficult to understand (due to the very poetic nature of the writing) and i couldnt figure out what was happening, political unrest maybe? The day to day routine or running of the little farm is mundane, nothing really changes at any point. The character you play is a little old lady and the movement is SO SLOW, i get shes old but moving around is a chore in itself and gets boring very quick. It looks like there are place outside the farm to explore but after walking about 5 metres out the fence its night time so no idea what they are. The days go so fast that you cant get anything done. Your food does go off but there are no indicators at all as to how long before this happens. I dont know if i did something wrong or not enough of something. There is no indication how much things are worth when the trader shows up so you just have to click stuff until a tick appears. Wolves attack but they move so fast and you move so slow its impossible to stop them (i never managed to at least but i did shoot my own goat apparently). Eventually everything kinda stops for a few days yet again with no explanation or idea on what to do about it.

In The Stillness of the Wind you control an old lady living quietly in solitude. You do minimal task everyday to survive and sustain. You can trade your artisan cheese, goat, chicken, harvested crops for resources you don’t have or need more of. As your family goes far away from town, you receive heartwarming and sometimes heartbreaking letters.

You may like this game if you are okay with or want to…

  • in-depth letters with emotions of a roller coaster and steadily dealing with some grief/loss (you can’t reply and that can make it harder to endure feeling uneasy like prisoner in chains - at least it was for me)

Moondrop Mountain

Moondrop Mountain

My wife absolutely loves farm sim games. She plays them until the cows come home. But after spending hundreds of hours in-game, she runs out of content. This game is my love letter to her - an attempt to create a farming game that doesn’t grow stale.

I’ve tried to do that by mashing up the farm sim genre with one of gaming’s old-school genres, the roguelike. Every game will be different, depending on what perks and potions you discover. Choose a different build and learn a different playstyle. Will you be a master miner, excavating for gems in the depths? Will you be a shepherd, keeping watch over your flocks? Perhaps an alchemist, using arcane lore to help plants grow stronger. The mountain trail is full of puzzles to solve and mysteries to discover, and the procedural generation of puzzles means that you’ll never solve the same puzzle twice.

Features:

– A unique plant growth system based on the power of friendship.

– A randomized potion system - potions start off unknown (and potentially dangerous) until they are used.

– Explore the mountain trail, which offers treasure and distractions in equal measure.

– Unlockable perks, potions, seeds, blueprints, recipes, costumes, music, UI skins, house additions, statues, and pets.

– Run-based gameplay - explore a different build each time you play.

– Zero marriage candidates. The main character is based on my wife, and she doesn’t mess around.

Put on a bikini top and went outside and everyone found it offensive!

At one time i got bored and i was like fakku with the clothes and went on outside with the bikini top on a hot day and everyone was like uhhhh looks like you got wrong side of the bed today! man that was funny in the game! the game surprises you with so many bits at unexpected times.

Now to the overall review: first of all i’d like to say that I have not played stardew valley, I heard its quite simillar to this so i cannot do a comparision. But with the time i had with the game it was pretty amazing and enjoyable. It’s very casual but you are under the clock so it’s half time management and half farming simulator. The story is about you who come from nowhere with a cute doggie, a man named paxel (a very harsh NPC). He brings you to a very beautiful village for a new start. The village has a rough history where there’s no rain and no crops can grow, with the power of appeasing the guardian deities of the village, it’s your job to restore the village and bring back the villages who left.

Now that I have completed the first year of this game and effectively achieved the “ending”, I feel as though I’m qualified enough to write a comprehensive review. So, I’ll start with the pros and cons.

Pros:

⚘ Cute, homey pixel art befitting of a down-to-Earth farming game such as this one. Dynamic and detailed scenery that changes based on season and time of day.

⚘ Plenty of diverse characters to make the town feel alive.

⚘ Many upgrades and secrets to be had in this game. House, barn, and tool upgrades to make your life a lot easier. Secrets that can enhance your experience and provide you with new information about the world.
