Spellspire
6 or 7 out of 10
Not the best word game. This one is difficult. And I mean difficult. I had to start grinding at level 10, and there are 100 levels plus a dungeon! Every 10 levels or so there is a boss. I don’t think I’ve ever defeated a boss on the first try or even the second. But by grinding you get more money so you can upgrade your gear. Also there is a bonus Star you can get by replaying a level with the monsters 10% faster and you have to finish with full health for you don’t get the bonus. Some equipment only unlocks if you have so many stars. And the equipment allows you to play in different ways. Some wands have poison damage along with regular damage. Others have fire, freeze for short time, and health drain. The defensive items have different bonuses: anyone who attacks you is poisonsed and you are immune to poison, same with burn. One increase the chance of getting item drops from monsters. Oh, I guess I better talk about that. Sometimes a good item will drop from a monster such as healing potions, spell books (one time use long word spelled for you to use), scrolls to poison, burn, or magic damage. You keep these in your backpack. You start with only one slot to keep one item but you can purchase and upgrade to the backpack which lets you have up to four slots.

I was almost disuaded by the highly ranked negative review and I am glad I got this game despite that. I really don’t understand some of the criticism leveled at it, as far as I can tell you always have plenty of words to defeat the level; when I finish I don’t think I have ever had less than 100 unfound words and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was never less than 200 (the game tells you). If I failed a level usually all I needed was to find 1-3 of those words - hardly an impossible challenge. The review also made me expect to lose a lot of progress by randomly being dealt impossible letters - certainly I am sometimes dealt difficult letters, but the levels are what? 1 minute each?

The Cryptologist Room
Terrible controls, clunky movement, unclear objective ( objective says enter answer in the book, but what are we answering?) I spent 3 hours in first room and hours of research on LOTR and cannot figure out what the question is much less an answer. I like puzzle games and cryptograms but the first puzzle has no clear direction. not fun.

I tried the first puzzle and it racked my brain! An excellent switch from the horror games I’ve been playing. The graphics are excellent and the puzzles are really challenging!
The only downfall I see is that there are many spelling errors (i.e. asnwer, rigns). It’s a small thing, but it’s noticeable when you have to analyze practically everything in order to progress. Otherwise, highly recommend so far!

Pros:
-
Cute Fashion and Neko girl
-
Cute Animations
Cons:
-
The tamagotchi system does not work.
-
At 0 Hunger or Clean, it will not do anything. i.e make her sick or cause death.
-
She will infinitely refuse to work cause she is in the bad mood (0 Hunger and 0 Clean). If you have no money, it will not go anywhere, as she does not die.
-
Not sure if this is a bug, but if you switch off your computer while the classes are on going, it will not register the fact she did any classes at all. I did 2 hours of one of the classes and it still showed 0 on the stat board. This might be a thing with jobs too but I need to confirm.

Words Can Kill
Words Can Kill is a fusion of roguelike deckbuilders and word games. But this game isn’t about your vocabulary. It’s about your decisions and resource management. You will travel through the fantasy world and fight monsters trying to find a more efficient way to use your letters and your gear.
Features
-
Indirect synergies. It’s hard to consistently use a powerful weapon that requires 6+ letters for bonus activation with a deck full of rare letters and without additional draw sources.
-
Plan your future turns. Are you ready for a strong enemy attack on the next turn? Don’t use words now, place your letter tiles on the board and wait. This way you can make multiple blocks on the next turn and defend yourself.
-
RNG management. Replace tiles in your hand any time you wish. But pay with your health.
-
Upgrade your deck. That tile with ‘Q’ poisons your life. Remove it from the deck on your next visit to the forge.
-
Easy to learn, hard to master. The game has simple mechanics but deep strategy. Only a true hero can save the princess!
-
Dozens of random enemies, random maps, 100 unique items. It’s still a roguelike, so yet another stupid death awaits.

Hello~
I am Ghoster, the administrator of the Unknown World Mud. My Mud Game is an independent game made by me.
The so-called Mud refers to Multi-User Dungeon (multiplayer network dungeon game).
It is mainly an online game presented in the form of text narration. The game mainly relies on the keyboard to input commands in order to interact with the world in the game, which can be said to be the predecessor of modern MMORPG.
Don’t tell everyone that …
My Mud Game’s current game content is very poor, because My Mud Game is not so much a game as it is used as a “Mud game making system” function display.
The content of My Mud Game alone shows that I don’t need to spend a lot of time to make it, but it took me more than a year to develop it! !
The main reason is that what I want to do is a …
“Everyone who can’t write programs can create their own Mud game in a simple way! !』
so…
The real goal of My Mud Game development is to allow users to modify according to their own preferences to create their own Mud games.
(I will not admit that I actually developed My Mud Game, just because I want to play Mud games made by others … XD)
In addition, in order not to lose the traditional Mud feeling, but also hope that people who play Mud for the first time will not be discouraged by the complicated command play mode, so I try my best to use the keyboard to enter the game mode, Change to just use the mouse to click,
For those who are easily lost and too lazy to draw maps, a small map function is added.
In order to make the picture more attractive and attractive, some objects have also added graphics.
My Mud Game now has only one of Mud’s most basic functions, including exploration, combat, equipment, props use and skill system, as well as simple event functions.
For more advanced development, I hope to develop after interacting with players, so … please try to present your needs! !
Within the scope allowed by the system architecture, I will try to add more functions.
My Mud Game itself is a stand-alone version of Mud game, which does not have a connection function.
Therefore, the content sharing function of personally made games becomes very important. After I understand how to use the Steam workshop,
It will be open for everyone to upload the Mud game they made.
Regarding the teaching part, I found that the description of the file method is not good, so I will find time to make as many My Mud Game game production teaching videos as possible in the future.
Anyway, please give me some advice ~
Queen’s Revolution ~ the romance in upheavals ~
Romance game for girls. You, a high school student, become a worthless queen with zero magic ability. A magician fiancé weaving plans to usurp the throne; a werewolf knight with strong desires to execute; an elf ranger stirring up rebellions against the system…When the turbulence of Magic Empire inevitably comes, you decide to take up your last resort, a weapon named “science”.
in development
★Story
By the time I woke up from that perfectly normal sleep I had in my bed, “I” have already been transported mythically to a magical world. Prior to that nap, I was nothing more than a regular high school student; yet now, I am gloriously recognized as a worthless queen with zero magic ability.
“How can we ever have queen that know absolutely no magic?” “The Kingdom is doomed!” “Only a best magician shall be qualified enough to reign our realm!” In this world where magic appears to be everything, people say so.
To ensure a stable transition of the power after his decease, our beloved former emperor engaged “I”, the princess and heir of the Kingdom, to the only son of the great mage. But after his death, the overbearing ambition of the fiancé unfolded gradually: to collude with the supreme association of magicians, seize the power of the new queen, and hopefully, without any surprise, claim the throne that is still temporarily mine.
In such a precarious situation, perhaps the only person “I” have on my side is a werewolf knight. However, unable to integrate into the elite class of magicians and thus having no say or title, he seems to be in the same boat with me - dream and visions in the head, yet no cards to play in the hands.
One after another, uprising broke out, organized by a half blood elf ranger. However, the almighty magician association has so far extinguished every attempt of revolt with fierce suppressions. A few hot-blooded rebels among all who actually master magic may never rival the association, not to mention bringing progresses to the war. Will someone take the lead in their fight, and show them a way out?
Plague, natural disasters … more misfortunes are on their way. To save this magical empire from the turbulence, it appears that “I” only have one thing left in my armory to wield - a weapon goes by the name “science”!
★Guys
William
Human, the only son of the great mage, genius of magic, the childhood sweetheart and fiance of the queen.
Considered one of the more talented new generation of magicians, William is second to none in the Kingdom. People seems to be more in favor of his lead compared to that worthless queen.
“It’s not like what have been intended… I wanted to protect her… "
“Nothing is on par with a taste of power.”
Caught in the middle of convoluted power and desire, he has his own choice to make.
Louis
Werewolf, an abandoned child of minority descendant, highly proactive, knight of the queen.
In the Kingdom, ethnical minorities who share close ties to the wild animals are always looked down upon, as if only those who master magics are worthy of power.
“Please forgive me for overstepping your majesty, but I always feel that… we are very similar…”
“We’ll prove ourselves, right?”
In endless malice, we advance jointly, no longer alone.
Noah
Half-blood elf, rangers who have wandered this Kingdom for hundreds of years, senior leader of civic rebellions.
After hundreds of years roaming around a dull magical realm, he decided to bring some brighter elements to not only his long-lasting life, but the society as well.
“At first it seems to be merely a bad wish of mine, but you let me know that sickness is haunting this land… "
“If you are on it, this could never fail.”
He seems to find some real goals in the helpless chaos.
