Hack ‘n’ Slash
I am going to cautiously recommend this game for programmers only.
While Hack ‘n’ Slash may appear to play like the old overhead Zelda games, it is a pure puzzle game. Direct attacks are impossible, there is no penalty for dieing, and you don’t need fast reflexes.
I would give it a, perhaps generous, 7/10. I base this on averaging the 5/10 I would give it for non-programmers since they can only play the first half of the game, and 10/10 for programmers who may find it enjoyable.
Quite a bit of programming knowledge is assumed. Almost nothing is explained. At first, all you can do is alter the value of variables. Soon “if” statements and logical operators are introduced. The game spends quite a while at this level of sophistication, and an intelligent person that can read English can get by for the first half of the game.

Do not buy this game. This is not the programming game you want to buy. It is not worth the money, and it is not currently, by my standards, a finished puzzle game, much less one that teaches any reasonable amount of programming.
It is a beautiful idea for a game, and a very clever title for the idea. But this game does not live up to the beauty of its idea. If you must buy it, wait for the game that purports to teach programming to at least be itself adequately programmed. That is not the game that is available right now.

FAUN AIR -フォーンアイル-
A 2D type adventure RPG. [/]
I created a program of about 460,000 lines by myself from a blank sheet with VC ++. [/]
Original graphics and music. [/]
The purpose of the adventure is to defeat the Demon King and regain peace with your friends. [/]
Travel around the world on ships, rafts, balloons, and even big dragons for adventure. [/]
One of the highlights is the variety of battle scenes. [/]
It’s a royal RPG, but there are many unusual events, so I think you can enjoy it without getting bored. [/]
Several types of mini games are also available. [/]
I think you can clear it in about 12 hours. [/]
Compatible with Windows7 and windows10 [/]
English version is also available. [/]
Well then, thank you. [/]

Save Data
A BYTE-SIZED ROGUELIKE ANTI-SHOOT-EM-UP
You are a data-integrity program inside of a computer and your job is to prevent other programs from having their data corrupted!
“Enemy” programs emit electron projectiles and your job is to deflect them to “ground” and not accidentally damage the programs themselves in the process. Features 3 worlds of crazy bullet-heck action with semi-randomized room order and an upgrade system that provides a bevy of interesting ways to progress!
The story behind Save Data
Save Data is part of what has retroactively been termed a “molasses jam” run by the Bay Area Dev Collective. The theme of the jam was to make a violent genre non-violent. As I’ve had a growing interest in action games, specifically of the shoot-em-up variety, naturally I wondered what it would be like to make such a game non-violent. The result is shoot-em-up where you have to protect the “enemies”!
The other molasses game jam games are also on steam:

Sword of Hypotenuse
The bloody truth of the Pythagorean Theorem lies along the Sword of Hypotenuse. Become a squishy tofu ninja and battle your way through the broken Number Line.
Walk, run, skip, dodge, jump, flip, and dive head first into this isometric 3D (+2.5D?) world filled with weapons - and a bunch of squishy Pythagoreans that want to stop you!.. from stopping them. Its umm, ok let’s back up.
So, the Pythagoreans want to reconnect the Number Line, but they’re sorta interpreting information they stole - so you know - kinda sketchy - its a whole thing, you’ll see. Talk to some of the characters, it’ll make sense. No math pop quizes, but you will need to think! There’s some different worlds and different permutations depending on how you break stuff, then reconnect it, then brake it again if you need to.
Find the rare missing Alogon pages from the Sacred Book of Math - err, not the count-y add-y stuff - the fun stuff! Traditional 2D pencil-test animations that help you interpret the story… depending on the interpretation of course!
In addition to the Story Mode you can also just battle your fellow humans in Battle Mode, or have them pop in to help you fight - maybe even as a squishy tofu shield! There’s also a Classic Mode where you battle waves of increasingly difficult enemies - stop talking and ship the game? OK, got it!
So, hope you enjoy it! Good luck fixing the broken Number Line Pythagoras broke. May your booleans always be true!
