I’m not gonna talk about the game mechanics and what It’s about - there are multiple reviews for it (or watch some videos)

I will only say this:

  • It has a cross platform (PC, Xbox and Switch)

  • Only the host most own the game (other players will download “Knight Squad 2 Trials”)

  • the game is REALLY cheap for what it offers (I thought it will cost like 25 €)

  • There are no microtransactions - You have 8 knights at the start - all other knights you will unlock though challenges

  • Everything that Knight Squad 1 was bad about - This game fixed it (at least for me)

Hive Mind

Hive Mind

This is a fun party game to play with your friends and family! The music is really well done and fits the theme well. The bee outfits are very creative and well designed. The user interface is very simple and it is really easy to set up or join a game. I had a lot of fun playing a few games of this and I am looking forward to playing more!

Real player with 7.6 hrs in game

  • A fun, hectic game suitable for all play styles thanks to the level/difficulty design. Hard levels really are hard. Might also cause some minor rage bursts (you’ll know when you eg. accidentally take off or without anything to carry)…

  • Great solo, but even better with others. The feeling of a busy hive is best experienced when playing with someone. The new pvp mode is a fun addition.

  • Cuteness & customization. Also the little details, like how the bees “smile” when meeting each other.

Dragluttony

Dragluttony

Imagine a frantic arena in which players must feed their oversized Draglutton to gobble their opponents. Notice the random food popping everywhere? Colorful wizards casting clunky spells at each other and, most importantly, friends hilarious battling in utter chaos ‘till digestion do them part? You got the picture now, don’t you? Well, we called it Dragluttony, a 4-player arena party game based on food and gluttony.

Lore

Welcome to our Wizards Kingdom my Sweet Little One. As you should know, this year is important for all of us: Adelmar, our beloved King, organized the greatest witchcraft tournament we have ever seen. You’ll have to compete in the Royal Arena and the winner will be granted with an official Court Wizard nomination! - Oswald, Grandpa Wizard

Gameplay

Fly freely in the arena with your Draglutton to feed it as fast as possible with the magic food popping randomly to make it grow bigger and bigger!

Be the first one to reach the maximum size to eat your friends: the hunt is on, but hurry up because your Draglutton will not remain huge forever (only a few seconds to be precise)!

Try quirky recipes Oswald offers you and use them to grow your Draglutton faster!

Use strong spells and potions (also quite random) to achieve victory!

Couch Gaming

Do you believe in the social aspect of bringing players together in the same room is more powerful than anything else? Do you like couch gaming at a real punching distance of your friends? Then you should play Dragluttony!

One-minute onboarding

Dragluttony perfectly combines simplicity and pleasure of playing, with accessible gameplay, one-minute onboarding, a pinch of randomness, quirky spells and potions and unexpected fighting mode linked to food and gluttony for intense, chaotic and hilarious combats!

Hight replay value

The gameplay evolves as players progress through levels, with new game mechanics, surprising spells and potions and unlockable quirky characters for even more gaming fun!

Knight Squad

Knight Squad

So I will start by saying this I bought this game while ago when It was on sale, and I have to say this game has far exceeded my expectation, and as a testimate I think I have a little over 30 hours logged in the game. There are a few bugs admittedly, but none that hinder the gameplay in anyway as far as I could tell. The game has a variety of gamemodes meaning you can keep the fun going for hours, and especially with friends no game is ever the same.

The single player challenged are difficult but not impossible. And I feel as though they have provided a difficult yet enjoyable challenge, and even on easy the higher level challenges require patience, and well timed strike before the enemy returns fire. I especially had trouble with the attack pattersn of the cell/plantdragon hybird challenge. There is hours upon hours of content here even with no friends, as the bots in certain games can easily compete and overwhelm the players.

Knight squad is a simple, top view, competitive combat game.

At its intitial release it already felt like a complete game, and yet I have yet to play an early access game with as much content released as frequently as knight squad.

The combat is simple, all buttons do the same thing, attack. There are, however, various weapons and powerups that spawn.

Knight Squad has a large range of game modes.

all vs all modes include:

  • Last man standing

  • A mode where points are aquired by staying alive in a central arena, and killing other players
