Astonia Resurgence
Astonia Resurgence is a great version of the old school Astonia 3 MMORPG.
For new players: it is an older game, so visually it might not be as appealing as some 4k games you can play. Howver it has unique leveling and stat systems that make it pretty enjoyable if given the chance. Stick around a few hours and you’ll find it’s quite fun. I still hop on old runescape for the sheer fun, not for the visual perfections.
As an old school player there are Some Nice Quality of life updates from the original such as su/gu and most things you pick up going directly into inventory, all the orbs( 10-RD99) now being located in an area in Aston. (Running orb alts used to be a pain).

First of all I must preface that this game is a revamped version of a 30 year old game and through the decades there have been several attempts from other servers to bring it back to life.
Personally this is hands down the best version released to date. OW Astonia was a grind, and is not for most people since fighting and movement aren’t in 3D and there’s not really button mashing like some of the newer RPGs. That being said there are a lot of improvements to quality of life that have already been implemented since release and surpass other servers by leaps and bounds. I really appreciate the community and it does seem to be growing, a mix of knowledgeable OW players with new ones coming on. Developers are constantly adding Quality Of Life/New updates on a timely and consistent manner and any issues are quickly resolved. Suggestions are taken into consideration and implemented. I’d highly recommend joining the discord server as well as there is a lot of useful information for new players already pinned.

Information / Review English
Andalia combines the game styles of strategy and real-time strategy game, which was developed by Joel St.
Gameplay / Story
In terms of time, the game is set in antiquity and has similarities to the successful Age of Empires. At the beginning of the game you have a main castle, town hall and a farm at your disposal, which is the starting point for building up the further economy. More residents have to be created quickly, who now erect buildings in order to be able to grow and mine various resources: food, wood and other resources. Combat units can be created in some buildings, while technologies can be researched in others. Towers and walls can be built for defense. There are a total of 5 factions, which are divided into Academy, Zikkuart, Refuge, Bastion and Castle. These differ in terms of different unit types and buildings.A game is won by default by defeating all opponents, some of whom are well hidden on the map and can also be found in the underworld.

Too short for a final release. Since nothing is randomized and there are only two rooms with puzzles, there’s nothing here for a second playthrough. You can get through the game in around 30 minutes and you’ve solved and seen everything. I’d forgive this if the developer put this in early access with promise of more features but as it stands it’s simply not worth it.
Tip for the developer: Iterate on this idea for an eventual sequel, use early access for what it’s worth and thus justify an increase in price for the promise of more content and features.

SpellPunk VR
I am not into writing reviews but I think that SpellPunk is underestimated, that is why I decided to say something about it. I truly enjoy this game. It is hard to find a good spellcasting vr game with beautiful graphics, working controls and entertaining gameplay. SpellPunk has all of these. The game is super immersive. I truly admire that its developers have gone the extra mile giving us the possibility to play with a full-body avatar instead of the usual flying hands. This feature makes me feel like I am a pure-blood magician. I can’t find the words to explain the feeling of winning a magical duel after successfully casting your spells. I feel even more powerful than a Harry Potter wizard, because I don’t even need a wand. How amazing is this?

TLDR; Worth supporting, but a long way to go.
This game is a work in progress, there are definitely some wrinkles that need to be ironed out. Having said that, there is a lot of charm to the concept of core gameplay. I feel like there’s a lot of potential and while you may not love the game now, it could grow into something special with support. There are a lot of problems that I will lay out so while I am giving it my recommendation, it’s current state may not satisfy you. Here we go.

Before reading this, do understand that its being developed by 1 single person and that this game is available for free outside steam, buying it here is simply supporting the dev and unlocking access to it through steam.
The game is a very charming timesink, it looks rather simpistic/minimalistic yet offers a good amount of depth and complexity.
The developer is extremely active as of writing this review, you can easily get a hold of him directly to ask for help or give suggestions in discord and he’ll give you time to actually listen and respond.

A Game of Thrones - Genesis
Long as War and Peace, dirty as Fifty Shades of Grey and as exciting as school textbook. Welcome to the world of George R. R. Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire. You can easily guess that I’m not a big fan of the original book series (to say the least), and I also never liked the HBO’s series, but… that’s not the reason why I disliked this game. The reason is – it was made by my old “friends”, French developer called Cyanide. Creators of Cycling Manager, Loki: Heroes of Mythology, IMPIRE and other “masterpieces”. The guys often have nice ideas, but they have no skill whatsoever. As the result, most of their products are utter garbage. Before Styx: Master of Shadows was released, Cyanide used to mean only one thing to me – awful experience. And A Game of Thrones – Genesis is exactly that. Boring and awful game. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

First off, I am recommending this game only for diehard fans of A Song of Ice and Fire, or anyone that wants an entertaining way of exploring the history of Westeros. Obviously, this isn’t the HBO branded Game of Thrones you might be used to so the art or characters may look a little bit different.
The way you play this game is a very dumbed down version of any RTS you may think of, build units, take towns and castles, kill your enemy. The way any single player vs AI or multiplayer game works is in two parts: Peace time, where you build alliances and build up your power undertaking various actions either directly or indirectly against the rival houses and the method for taking towns and castles is using non-combat units. Once war breaks out in the seven kingdoms, you must now rely solely on your combat units to take the remaining towns and castles. The first house or houses to reach the required honor score wins. Each house will have their own special ancestral home which cannot be taken. The way you build units is a bit silly, allowing only one to be built at a time but you can queue up to 5, if funds and food allow. Gold and Food are the two forms of commerce, gold to buy mercenary units, non-combat units, and upgrades and food for your professional standing armies. The game uses an upkeep system so you must ensure you have an adequate supply of food to maintain your armies after they are built. Various non-combat units will give you bonuses to gold production and your peasants will level up with experience if you can manage to protect them and keep them alive, thus making them more efficient at harvesting. Each house has a unique unit that provides a special ability or skill but nothing spectacular, like a maester that can heal units for the Tyrells, or a direwolf bodyguard-type unit for the Starks. All houses have the same types of combat units available to them, so don’t expect the Targaryens to throw dragons at you. The time period for the House vs House mode of play is right before the events leading up to Robert’s rebellion.

Circle Empires Rivals
Circle Empires: Rivals is the multiplayer successor to Circle Empires. At its core, Circle Empires Rivals is a 10-25 minute long real time strategy game. Despite the short game length, it has quite a lot of content and depth, and easily gets a strong recommendation given its moderate to low price point.
At the time of writing this review, the game has 7 different game modes, 26 commanders with unique army compositions and bonuses, 6 difficulty settings, 5 different map sizes, and within the various game modes (such as stop the army and monster hunt) there are also different scenario selections available. The different game modes range from very easy to very difficult, and even with 4 people working together in a co-op game certain modes like Defend the Castle mode is extremely difficult on even moderate difficulty settings, so if you like a PvE challenge, the game has this available.

Must buy for every RTS fan and people who would like to experience something unique with alot of variety.
You can play this game on easy mode or incredible challenging. There are a lot of game modes and coop makes alot of fun too. The game is also very well made no bugs and a great interface!
Got 32hours on the first one and with this game I expect getting closer to 100+ hours for only 8-12 euro you got great value.
If you want to play this coop, but don´t have someone to play it with, I am always looking for people to play it with, since it just makes even more fun in coop-mode.

Heroes of Might & Magic V: Tribes of the East
If you have never played a Heroes of Might and Magic game, shame on you. This series spans back to my early childhood. The Heroes game I played the most was WOG, a custom expansion for HoM&M3. I loved this series and logged countless hours into these games. They are indepth yet easy to pick up, hard most of the time unless you are a seasond vet.
Build up your town. Recruit Troops (this version allows upto 7th level units). Upgrade your buildings to get bounses, like resorces, spells, or your creature dwelling. In HoMM5 you can select from 2 differant upgrades for each creature type. You have a army that is lead by your hero(s). On the map you will be just one person, but if you attack a creature stack or another player the map closes in and you switch to battle. This is simalar to RPGs where u wander around a map and you trigger combat then cut screen, there is your party ready to kick some butt.

TL,DR: Treats Heroes 3 itch, but doesn’t offer much new.
Pros:
-
good ‘ole Heroes 3 with expanded hero and creature skill system
-
a bit too cartoonish, but still very solid and stylish graphics and overall design
-
every faction is very different gameplay-wise due to new global racial ability system
Cons:
-
too many crucial things are random-based, way too many for a TBS
-
low variety of interactive nodes on the map: either a guarded treasury, a permanent or temporary + to some stat or an outdoor variety of some sort of a town building. Some challenged nodes like “+1 luck to all owner’s heroes” or an architect’s hut that gives some discount on buildings in owner’s towns or allows to build twice per day would be nice. Alas

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition
Can’t express enough, nor can I make this a full review as it would take far too long, how amazing this game is. Still survives more than 18 years after launch through the Enhanced Edition and I’ve been playing since that launch. Roleplaying online for over 15 years, as well. It continues to get amazing improvements as it goes along, and I’m excited to see how much more it can bring.
