Orc Raid

Orc Raid

3h Update

After playing this game and beating the campaign I encountered many bugs. Sometimes the orcs spawn underground or up in the sky and you have to find them - however the orcs can still hit you (somehow). The most concerning thing is that on survival once you kill 1000 orcs the game starts to lag and drop to 1fps. This is quite disturbing because I have quite good computer.

Original review

This is a hard decision to make because the price is fair for what the game has to offer. However, it is a very basic game with some annoying bugs. For example the pause menu doesn’t work and you need to press alt+f4.

Enjoyed the game, but, on one map mobs spawned suck in the air or in the ground, (the map with the tower) also I could not load final map at all. could have been broken by a windows 10 update, but seems more like game bugs.

I think I might be the only one to ever play through the entirety of this game. At least I think I played through this, there wasn’t that much of an end sequence.

This is actually not too bad. The game is totally worth the 79 ct that I paid for it. It’s like a cereal box edition of Skyrim.

I like the castle layout with lots of corridors and passages. Has an old school flavor and you always feel that there’s more to it. The enemies manage to take you by surprise sometimes - don’t take them lightly, they’re mean and set to kill you! Don’t forget to save the game and load if you die. Cool thing that you get to dismember the opponents, depending on where you hit them. Not sure if there’s a way to parry their hits. The game is in early access, so I expect feedback to be handled and lot of things to be added and improved. Like it would be useful to have the help hints in a book or somewhere in the menus to read them again if needed.

I like this game! Strong Hexen vibe! Interesting complicated levels in medieval style. GIBS! Fighting is not good enough for now. Also some lack of options (audio, partially bindings etc). But the game shows great hopes. And i wish to the author all luck! Please do not drop it!!!

I love the simplicity of this game! Really well designed and probably even more fun on an iPad or iPhone!

Great game!!

I would definitely recommend Dungeon Highway. It is very fun game that I think anyone could enjoy. You can earn experience to get multiple players, and improve your score to even get on the scoreboards! For me, I think about seven dollars was worth it. I play it all the time and so far, I haven’t seen many negative sides to this game. This is a great game, and I would definitely recommend that you buy it.

let me say first off that i was not expecting to like this game. when i miss a vr game like this i assume its for a reason.

but never the less i bought it and im glad i did.

lets start with the pros;

1X. controls are here, smooth loco and smooth turning, a few options.

1. good visual style with a nice scary-ish setting. not neccisarily horror but dark and moody.

2.alchemist system is great. you pick up items and they return to your secret room, which im guessing there is a few of these rooms. i have seen one.

This is probably the closest thing to Dark Souls in VR right now. The atmosphere is pretty much spot on, and it’s on another level when it’s on VR. This game should have far more positive reviews in my opinion.

The game is tough, and at first you might feel like it’s just bad controls what are causing you to miss your attacks - but that’s not it. You’re just not getting your range right. The controls and hit boxes are good, but the game does take some skill, and it took me at least half the first chapter to get the hang of it. By the second chapter I was already accurately blocking attacks with my shield, and countering back. Also note that the harder you swing your arm, the more damage you’ll do.

Great Concept, Shoddy Execution

First, one thing I want to make clear. This game doesn’t take 72 hours to beat, I simply left it on for long periods of time. Second, this is a negative review, so why did I even bother finishing the game? Because I have a compulsion to finish games once I start them unless they are literally unplayable. Don’t be like me.

Now, onto the game. This is a hybrid where you build towers and send monsters out of your barracks to attack. The only control you have over the monsters is which direction/path they take when encountering intersections, I really like the idea for the game, but the developers did a poor job of implementing it.

An unusual TD game.

I didn’t want to buy this game for a long time. And I bought it last week. I can’t say I was excited, but I found some cool features there.

First of all, I liked the setting of being a bad guy. Skeletons, Orcs, Mummies, Harpies and etc.

You are bad guy who fights with good guys. There is a lot of humor and sarcasm in the story. Yeah, there is a story.

What about gameplay. Most of the missions are Attack&Defense. And it’s fresh. You have one road where enemies attack you and you need to build towers. There is another, you attack. So, there are 2 resources, food for sending units and gold for building towers. There are also Pure TD missions, enemies come from all sides and you just defend.

March 12 2018 Review Update

Primordian’s great potential is coming to fruition. All my initial concerns have either been resolved or acknowledged by the developer, to whom I give my respect to for his engagement with the community and his dedication to this work of art.

Gone is old, inefficient main menu which has been replaced with an immersive landing area which drops you straight into the game world, giving you access to it’s different paths and game options; a brilliant and creative user interface and user experience.

I feel sad for this game, because It was so promising.

The cg here is mindblowing. Chacters, their animation, environment, etc is just perfect.

And this game have one of the best weapons I’ve ever saw.

But…

The other things are just horrible, game is mostly unplayable.

-First vr fps I’ve seen where you are not moving on actual ground. It looks like but its not! You can notice it when running from height to lower ground. You will realise the character is kinda flying… When you are on some platfoms - some of them are moving faster than you. When they are already on the ground, you are still flying.

Legendary Tales

Legendary Tales

A+ Game!!! Legendary tales, as it stands right now 11/28/21, is a fantastic game that is among the best VR games ive played so far, and I consider myself a veteran. It is essentially Diablo, which seems intentional down to the music in the town. Devs nailed it. The combat is tight, and fair, where if you pay attention you can parry attacks consistently, but if you get sloppy you quickly get punished. The magic, which is apparently being radically improved in the near future, is already SUPER fun. My wife and I play this game together endlessly, where she if often damaging/stunning/freezing hordes of enemies as I plunge in to fight dual wielding swords. I am absolutely STOKED for the future of this game, as they have cleartly laid out a massive plan for additional monsters, magic spells, levels, bosses, synergy magic system, items, skill and stat systems, and so much more.

Real player with 59.2 hrs in game

Too expensive for it’s current state. Essentially 20 levels of the same 3 enemies and on the exact same style of dungeon map that take too long to kill and cannot be engaged in an enjoyable manner. The physics and mechanics of combat are just bad for now, with developers dedicated to asian style MMORPG elements (The bad ones) - involving relentless grind-based progression, in VR where you physically will struggle to sustain the requirements.

The best point in the games history was at release when there were abilities and weapons that could be abused to shift the balance in the players favor - making progression enjoyable. Since then the devs have relentlessly worked towards making the game more difficult and removing any exploits while ignoring the community’s actual requests. They have only focused on redundant balance fixes and the broken magic system since release - barely managing to address some serious bugs.

The idea is cool and interesting. Rising true orc by selecting cards with events. I loved the variety of events and humor sense. Now I’m sure it’s not easy, but trully challenging and funny to rise my own orc! The gaming design is very unusual, but pretty comfortable to play.

An interesting role-playing game.

You play as an ogre and decide its future.

The game gives you the right to freely choose. I loved the variety of events and the sense of humor.

The game also has artifacts and abilities, as in RPG games.

A very cool idea from the developers and they made a cool project.

Every time, I relax when I play this game. I advise everyone,

who is tired of active games.
