Bloody Efforts
Imagine your own mighty Heroes and make them REAL in Bloody Efforts.
Story:
_There were two Ancient Gods - Known and his older brother Unknown. The elder God created a whole world with mighty Elements and the younger one gave this world a life with all forms we know. Unfortunately, there was a conflict between the brothers, which turned into the battle. Clash of the Gods disturbed the world balance and brought many cataclysms upon all the races. The Elements began to fight each other and what is worse, a new ominous being appeared – the Hollow.
Until then, only a fraction of humanity managed to survive. Probably everyone would have been dead a long time ago, but something unexpected happened to the races. A new kind of people appeared, called Apostles. They are significantly different – stronger, faster, but the most remarkable is their ability to subdue power of the Elements. Some of the Apostles fight to restore order and peace once again. Others cooperate in achieving common goals. There are individuals who want to find remnants of the Gods or even get along with the Hollow, devoting their souls in exchange for new horrific powers. And who will you choose to be?_

Dawn of the Dragons: Ascension
This game is fun but let’s be honest they want the micro transactions so bad you have to load another game waiting for your stamina to come back is insane. Greed is not always good. Fix the damn game so you can keep playing and not have 20 min downtime just to hit the next node.

How Stories Die
Did you ever wonder how stories die? It’s not hard and it’s certainly not art. You just have to kill them. With a rather bad storytelling, tons of mistakes, continuity issues, missing or too many words and a very broken save system. You know it’s bad when even the process of saving the game is a frustrating, luck-based experience.
I’ll go over the many flaws in detail in a moment, but first let me mention the few things that weren’t terrible. The music is great and the characters look beautiful, featuring many different facial expressions. The story has a few good or funny moments. Occasionally. It’s not a bad experience from start to finish, just something where the cons outweight and thus I can’t recommend it.

This is a $20 Visual Novel you can read for free.
When it comes to free visual novels, I go in with a fair pinch of salt. When a game is made by a small group of people, I don’t expect much. When the first thing I hear on the title screen of this game is a banger of a song that leads into a soundtrack that should not be as good as it is, I know I’m in for something special.
25 hours is how long it will take to read this story. During that time, you may find that events will not play as you might expect them to. The writer of this story gives you 3 decisions to make, with each path becoming a story of its own. These paths are not simply “Fall in love with girl, solve problem, everything’s fine”. Each path presents you with an idea, ideas born of a mind not content with following the formula.

Tap Adventure: Time Travel
Pretty fun! If you’re addicted to clickers (which I am) and time wasters (which I am) this is another good addition. Repetitive backgrounds (of course) but a lot more diverse than others, and the fantasy & guild heroes theme is actually utulized unlike most clicker games! Very Free, just expect to leave it running a LONG LONG Time. If that’s not your thing? This is not your game. If you’re looking for a total time soak with easy to play in the background of work? PERFECT!
Edit 7/13: Updating to add a ton of TL;DR basic tips

The first thing you may notice about Tap Adventure: Time Travel is the graphics. Whether it’s the character design or the different environments that you end up going to, everything is all very well drawn. It’s genuinely pleasing to look at, especially for a clicker game. Unfortunately, I think this is the only strong point about this game.
Things start out as any other clicker game; you’ll be able to hire a few mercenaries and get through a few hundred levels before you’ll have to time loop. You will have to repeat this process hundreds of times of course, getting a little further each time. You’ll earn more gold, runestones, keys, and manacoins, unlock more artifacts and heroes, and so on and so forth. It’s a typical clicker game.

The Lord of the Rings Online™
The game is dying. Devs are making feeble attempts at re-vitalizing it but it’s just much too late. For too long there were zero communication with them, for too long they haven’t been playing their own game. Just look at this steam page - when was it last updated, 6 years ago? Fixing LotRO requires rebuilding some systems from ground-up and nobody does this to a 10 year old game.
The main problem with LotRO today is that it’s BORING AS FUUUUUUUUUCK. Even earlygame is spoiled somehow. I can point my finger at auto-learned skills and quests that don’t need turning in. You just feel disconnected from the world.

If you’re a Tolkien fan, you should love this. It’s a lot of fun seeing how much care and attention has gone into recreating the world of middle earth.
As an MMO, it is one of the best ones out. It is certainly more geared to solo players, but does a good job of catering to everyone. The classes range from basic to some of the most advanced and interesting classes I’ve ever seen in an MMO. (Take Warden or LoreMaster for example)! The community is also one of the friendliest and the servers are still busy and alive to this day. It has stood the test of time and still looks astonishingly beautiful as ever. Add to all that it has fantastic mood setting music you’ve got a class A product. Many players simply can’t stop at a single character and over the years I have kept on coming back to this game. Without a doubt my favourite MMO ever. It’s also great to see the dedication of Standing Stone in keeping their work alive and keeping lotro safe for the future years with a decent, not overly greedy free to play system. Much of the content can be enjoyed for free and extras can be bought as required. The only time you may consider spending money is to open up quest packs in different regions and expansion packs. But considering the size and amount of time you could foreseeably spend in this masterpiece, it is well worth it!

Dungeons & Dragons Online®
Introduction;
I have spent many hours on this game over the years, and even though it may feel a little antiquated now, it is still one of the best RPG’s that I have played in a very long time.
It feels like a true RPG, and a true adaptation of the AD&D Rule Set that true AD&D gamers are familiar with. There is none of that level scaling crap in this game which has become a trend recently. It is all leveled content.
This is one of the few games which I install every time I have to do a re-install of Steam for what ever reason.

I have been playing this game for years and only recently started playing it through steam. I would say my actual hours are probably closer to 2000. this is a huge, well established MMO with tons of content. if you like customized builds, look no further. you have the ability to create your character from the ground up. you choose where every ability, skill, feat and enhancement point goes, and you can even multiclass. ever wondered how an Archer Monk Wizard would fare in combat? Now you can find out.

Elisa: The Innkeeper - Prequel
Briefly: A free comedy/romance visual novel where your decisions have a refreshingly profound effect on the consequences.
Elisa: The Innkeeper - Prequel is meant as a teaser (or a demo) for the upcoming full visual novel, which was succesfully kickstarted in mid-July ‘16.
Introducing the crew
The premise is a bit silly: It’s a medieval setting based in Florence. Elisa is the innkeeper who (seemingly) inadvertently makes almost every guy who visits fall in love with them. Yet she is not the protagonist.

Another candidate for the “Mixed Review” category, but ultimately, I’m going to have to down-vote this game.
Elisa: The Innkeeper - Prequel is a visual novel focused on Italian culture. The story is essentially focused on a love triangle between a pompous prince who feels the world owes him, a merchant who believes money can fix every problem, and a manipulative innkeeper known as Elisa (who toys with the Merchant, the Prince, and even the sexist Knight who’s obviously been hurt in his past that leads to his sexist behavior). To be perfectly honest, I don’t like any of the characters and the story comes off as a cliche.

EverQuest
Firstly, I’ve been playing Everquest for 14 going on 15 years at this point. The amount of hours that Steam has tracked don’t do me any justice. That being said, Everquest has some serious problems. There was a time when I would have recommended the game and I have recommended the game. That time is past.
Pros:
-
A good community. The community overall is full of nice and helpful people. Yes, there is some people who definitely don’t fit that description but they are few and far between.
-
The game being modeled after tabletop D&D. The fact that somebody can have a max level character with all the best stuff in the game and still miss/have attacks dodged by lower level mobs is hilarious.

This game was good 10 years ago.Now it is junk, crashes, log-in issues, lag, and 15 year old graphics are what its about now. EQ is free to play but with conditions added. Daybreak makes new expansions with consist of 75% old zones that have been upgraded to a higher level and maybe 1 or 2 new ones. Mobs are copy and paste from all other zones so no new ones in a long time. All the special events are old ones that just keep coming back. Once in awhile something interesting will come along but far and few between. So after reading this i cant say any thing good about EQ anymore, theres other free to play games that are a lot better. But the one upside to EQ is that it does have a nice community, people are always willing to offer advice that will help you along.

if u love turn-based games, u will love this one despite the camera controlling is annoying sometimes.

The good: A simple tactical game. Relatively easy to play missions that don’t take very long. Nice to play when you don’t have a lot of time. Each character is unique and requires a different strategy. Not bad for free.
The bad: Really poor translation to English (either that or the script was written by a child). A lot of silly, unnecessary swearing.

Kingdoms CCG
Let me start off by saying that, in my opinion, this is the BEST ccg out there. As you can tell by my hours logged in, I obviously love it. A lot of time has actually been played via my browser too so I probably have close to an additional 400hrs.
With all that aside, this isn’t your typical Pay to win model. You can purchase ANY card in this game without having to pay real money. Is there a grind? Yes. I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t. However, you can earn gold rather quickly through several ways. One way is the campaign. They now did away with the energy bar so you can play as much of the campaign as you’d like. Once you defeat the campaign, the energy bar is implemented if you want to replay any of the “Nodes”. Another way to earn gold is through Guild Wars. You can gain gold if you win your certain matches then bonus gold if your guild wins that war. It can build up quickly. Also, there are daily rewards for logging (Which can also reward you with cards, or gems). You can also purchase any hero for Gold. There are currently 27 heroes, 6 or 7 of which you earn through completing the campaign. You can also gain gems through playing in the arena. 2 per day and a bonus of a minimum of 20 at the end of the war if you play something like 20 PvP matches. On top of that, if you log in 20 times during the month, you’re awarded an addiitonal 20 gems.

Kingdoms CCG looks simple on the surface but rates high in strategy. It is simple to learn and a good deal of fun, but a good strategy will take time to develop (or you could just youtube it) and the right cards to pull off. This is where a lot of players might be iffy on the game, as getting those cards freely isn’t easy. The game has a huge campaign (huge for trading card games) that has daily and hourly rewards, gives lots of nice cards, and is very challenging towards the end. By the time you finish it you should have a decent core deck and be working on the expansions. The expansion cards themselves are not more powerful than the core cards, they simply open up more and different strategies, so the power creep isn’t as bad here as it is in other TCG games and new players will only be behind in terms of the options they will have immediately availble to them (a still considerable amount in my opinion)
