Eterna: Heroes Fall
The learning curve can be VERY FRUSTRATING! However even with just at level 20 I am getting just to see the depth and magnificent grace, flow, and subtleties of this excellent game! truly worth every penny of the price!

Monstermonger
Disclaimer: I helped to playtest this.
I had really good fun with this - it’s got that “easy to learn, hard to master” feel. The mechanics are straightforwards, but that disguises some depth of strategy, as I found out when I went from the tutorial to the hard AI and got schooled :-) I’m looking forward to trying multiplayer and finding out how much more there is I don’t know yet!
Very easy to just dip in for a quick game, but also very easy to get sucked into “just one more”…

I originally downvoted this because I hit a bug fairly early that stopped progression. The developer was very responsive. I sent him some screenshots of the bug and he is making a number of changes. The game is fun, and the creatures are cool. It’s not the world’s deepest game, but it is fun and it’s not expensive. If you like these sort of soft strategy games to relax with, this is actually one of the better ones I’ve seen in recent years.

Fun little game, really simple gameplay and pretty short in length, but not too bad!
The achievements didn’t work for me though, I didn’t get a single one of them after completing the Story Mode…
If you need to “waste” 5-10 minutes, give it a try!

ANCIENT SOULS
It’s a Souls like runner game. You can explore the level, unlock new rooms. You will dodge the traps and fight against the different enemies. You will face Bosses in every level of the temple.
You will need to master the sword technique of Divine artifact “Tyrfing” and learn the way of Allfather. You have to improve your connection with the elements and upgrade your Holy amulet “Brísingamen” with the souls of the fallen . After that you can face Thor and you can release Fenrir from his chains.
You can play demo version of this on your phone for Free

Available Game Modes currently include a Freeplay game mode and a Dungeon game mode. In the Dungeon game mode, the player must survive against ten waves of enemies in a hectic combat environment
Kingdoms In Chaos
I think this game has a ton of potential. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. At roughly 100 hours I’m wrapping up basically everything you can do in this game so… But to me 10 dollars for 100 hours is a steal.

As ghetto as this game is, I find it quite relaxing. Bank your gold often. These open PVP full loot mmos are the only genres us OLD school gamers actually enjoy :D FREEEDOM - BigCountry

Mist Legacy
I find the top review ridicolous on multiple levels, otherwise I wouldn’t bother writing one myself. I will try my best to make it stand on it’s own.
This is a puzzle, adventure and exploration built on grind, trade and fight that varies in difficulty based on your intellect, based on the choices you make regularly.
For starters(this all will only be a start), you have the choice to gather any combination of materials, to craft hundreds of variations of gear.
That means traveling shoes with work gloves or traveling gloves with work shoes.

For the first fifteen levels or so, this game is a cozy, single-player, free-to-play PvE RPG experience, and the community will likely help if you encounter any issues. That much I can recommend trying: it should give you a good idea of whether or not you’d enjoy the game long-term.
Nevertheless, the foundation of the game has several major flaws:
- Completing quests requires that you max level all adventure skills: such as subterfuge, academics, perception, etc. You can’t specialize. So, even though the game advertises the freedom to level however you want, in the long run there’s no real choice, because you need -all- the skills. Increasing your primary level also provides no choices. It increases your HP, and perhaps most notably, causes lower-level mobs to ignore you.

Rising Spire: Prelude
From Roguelikes to Darksouls to Skyrim, I have played many RPGs. This is one I am extremely excited for. The are style is great, the music is catchy, and I am anxiously anticipating what new moves and attacks future combat has in store. If you havn’t seen the trailer, give it a look on youtube. The hype for this game is real and I am excited to see what else is in store!

Not a huge fan of jrpgs generally, but I was looking for something short and this is also free, so I gave it a shot.
Quite fun to run around and kill / avoid enemies - story not long enough, but it’s still an early access title, so I’m looking forward to find out more about Atlas’s journey. Also a map would be really nice so I don’t get so lost hehe.
Visuals look cute, I dig. Will most likely come back after a couple of updates. Give it a try.

Shaype
Shaype is a fantasy role-playing game with an emphasis on player dictated character creation, combat playstyles, dialogue, and story outcomes. The ability for the player to create and develop their own character and world is at the heart of Shaype’s design, presenting diverse role-playing and alignment options.
With Shaype, we wish to create a true role-playing game. Our focus in development is for the player to feel as though they exist in an engaging world where their decisions matter.
World
- A major goal for Shaype is to provide an engaging setting and atmosphere. Despite the friendly artstyle, Shaype will explore dark/adult themes, allow for diverse character alignment options and pose morally grey situations in a violent land.
Player Choice
- Gameplay will be multifaceted and reflective of the player, with significant world-changing options in dialogue, playstyle, and quests that are driven by the skillset and choices of your character.
Combat System
-
For combat, we are developing varied weapons and divisions of Magic which will each possess their own skill trees and abilities.
-
We want to provide a challenging experience that rewards the skill level of the player. Combat mechanics are designed to be easy to learn but hard to master, testing the ability of the player to find openings to strike.
