Pig Skater Simulator

Pig Skater Simulator

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1443980/Roman_Empire_Wars/

I don’t even know where to start this description. So, this pig just managed to escape from the lab. It seems that something activated in its brain in the face of danger and it became supe intelligent and it learnt to… skate? Yeah, it just grabbed a skateboard and started riding around like it’s this porky porks second nature. And, you know what? This pig got some sick moves, bruh. It can do flips, spins, ollies and all the wicked stuff! Some people say it was even seen in the skateshop buying new boards and stuff.

How does it pay for it’s stylish looks? I heard this pig just loves pearls. That’s why it destroys everything on it’s way! Of course it’s a common knowledge that when you smash stuff around, pearls start to fall out. You really didn’t know that? Oh, and when you observe the pig it feels like it’s doing all this stuff on a purpose and with some kind of a plan. Like it’s doing some kind of missions I’d say, you feel me? Maybe that’s why it trashed all of the tables in the restaurants around for example…

Besides the pearls it also gathers up points by doing those quote on quote “missions” and collecting pearls and crashing stuff. Yeah, I know the pigs don’t know how to count… usually. But it’s got a specialized app for that on it’s mobile phone. How does it even use mobile phone is beyond me, but believe me – it does.

Oh, no… oh no, it found a jetpack! This certainly won’t end well. Oh the mayhem, the destruction!

Game features:

  • You’re a pig

  • Pig on a skateboard

  • There’s a jetpack too

  • Make ruckus and be happy as a pig in a clover!

Untitled Goose Game

Untitled Goose Game

This game is, in all honesty, really enjoyable and I have played it many times. As a goose, I could do a lot more than just the storyline. I’ve finished the game twice now, and I always keep working towards getting those extra goals done. Some parts, such as delivering the golden bell home, were a bit difficult, but never too bad. Overall, this is a great game and I recommend it!

A fun game to play with your small children, mine’s 4. it’s a bit mischievious but that’s the worst of it. I’d say it’s fun for all ages. I wish I could find more games that were actually fun for my son’s age that we could play co-op together on pc.

TLDR: Early 3D era. Poor texturing. Foes dont attack but just walk back and forth injuring you if you touch them. Cannot attack using Xboxpad. Floaty jump.

I pressed everything on my controller and I could not attack even though I am holding a club. All I could do is run and jump. The jump felt very artificial, jumping in one short and low height burst and stopping abruptly, very unsatisfying. Sprint uses stamina and does not nearly improve the speed much at all, stamina depletes very quickly. Most level design is just a bunch of easy to reach platforms with fruits everywhere to jump and collect. Game says to look around before jumping but using the controller I could not move the camera elsewhere leading to blind jumps, sometimes with fruit to tempt you, that leads you to plunge to your death. If you soldier on its mostly just about gathering keys, getting through archways and activating checkpoints. All in all this is a very unsatisfying title in a saturated genre and is outclassed by just about anything. Even the SNES donkey kong country would feel a lot better than dealing with this.

Imagine a plateformer with the horrible physics that made Bad Rats famous.

Bugs I’ve encountered while I played this:

  • No true ‘pause’ function. Enemies continue to attack while you’re adjusting options. They also attack while the camera pans away after picking up a key

  • Music volume option will not save properly. I set music volume all the way to 0, but it still plays in some levels until I go back to options, turn it up and back down again.

  • Random spike intervals: They do not behave the same every time you restart a level. Different pattern everytime.

LEGO® DC Super-Villains

LEGO® DC Super-Villains

One of the best lego games I’ve played in years. This game has it all. A spectacular customizer that’s only limited by your imagination, really fun characters to play as, and easily the best story campaign out of any lego game ever made. With fantastic performances from Mark Hamill, Clancy Brown, and more recognizable DC voice actors who reprise their roles from their previous work on other DC animated shows. Plus, this campaign has some of the best level design out of any lego game as well, with many of them having puzzles and challenges that aren’t super hard but aren’t super easy either. It makes a perfect balance that makes the game so accessible to anybody.

Lego DC Super Villains is essentially Traveller’s Tales' very own original adaptation of the Forever Evil DC Comics storyline. Featuring the Injustice League, League Of Doom, Justice League and a couple surprises. This is the first Lego game all about the bad guys, so this is NOT Lego Batman 4, nor is it meant to replace it. This is more of an evolution of the Villains level section in the very first Lego Batman game, and that is a good thing for many reasons.

If you’re familiar with Lego games, you probably already know that every Lego game has something that sets it apart from other Lego games. Lego DC Super Villains goes a bit further with this though. So… What exactly is different this time around?

11/10 Ruined kid’s birthday party WITH FIRE, marched zombies across a city, and pet a dog

If that’s not enough to make you buy it, then FINE, let me give “rEaL” reasons.

This is a really unique and cute game unlike any other that I’ve really played. Each level, you play as a cloud with a variety of cloud powers to solve puzzles, do weird tasks, or cause mayhem. Some levels are super intricate, following a “story” (Like the definitely “not” Legend of Zelda level), and can take quite a bit. Others are much quicker, or just for fun, like painting or raining down hands to pet a dog. (No seriously, there is a point where you rain hands to pet a dog. It’s amazing.)

Catlateral Damage

Catlateral Damage

I have found this game to be simple, but very addicting. You cause destruction as one of several different cats, most of which you have to unlock through gameplay.

You can play in two modes, objective mode and “litterbox” mode. Objective mode is where you are given a set of objectives to complete. You do this by knocking down or destroying the indicated items. You have a time limit in which to complete the objectives. You get bonuses for certain items, as indicated in your objectives. If you complete your objectives, you get to move on to another level, up to four levels. There are special items you can knock down to unlock bonus levels which are added in to your four basic levels.

My paw swipes a dinner plate off the table and I peek over the edge to watch it shatter to pieces on the floor below. The humans will pay for keeping me cooped up all day!

Catlateral Damage is a new game where you play as a bored cat wreaking havoc on the everyday objects inside the house. We all know kitten thinks of nothing but murder all day so this game is a realistic simulation of what it’s like to be a cat running around the house making mischief and taking care of cat business - knocking down items on shelves and tables, opening doors, hiding in boxes and tunnels, crawling above and behind everything and making a huge mess while you’re at it.

The Death Into Trouble

The Death Into Trouble

Very cute and funny game!

I think hell is the hardest, I couldn’t get to level 3,

The soundtrack is really good too, recommended.

Once again you can expect what Hanoi Studios does the best with this game: An amazing work with the audio, soundtrack and sound design.

Besides this, The Death Into Trouble (TDIT) has an unique appeal to what an indie game can offer in terms of original voice acting as well, great job done by “Vozindie” with the voice director Caroli.

TDIT is a game to enjoy the journey in three different envrionments: Purgatory, Heaven and Hell. Each one of them having a great variety of monsters and enemies, and I’d love to have a “collector’s book” inside of the game containing information about each enemy, its name and maybe a short description of it.

Autobahn Police Simulator

Autobahn Police Simulator

I just wanted a police sim. I mean, there are a couple coming out this year that look really good, but I just really wanted to play one. Sure, it’s got some “mixed” reviews, but Steam can be a little harsh. And I don’t want the shoot-em-up sort of police sim; I want something that celebrates the mundane tasks of the traffic cop. It sounded like a winner.

No. I hate this game. I thought it was maybe that I had to get used to it but, no: listen to the reviews, this game sucks.

Other reviews seem to talk about the driving mechanics, and that is by far the worst thing in this game. Driving is so difficult that the developers obviously knew it, and though there is a damage meter for your car, it actually goes back down if you don’t hit anything for a few seconds.

Real player with 18.5 hrs in game

Well i spent over a week deliberating this one, in light of the mixed reviews. I ended up watching video reviews online to help me make up my mind.

I’m glad I bought this game. I prefer sims over any other genre, and I always thought a highway police sim would be cool.

Personally, I really can’t understand why there’s so many negative reviews. I guess a lot of them were written prior to the updates/patches, which appear to have corrected most of the bugs and glitches. It’s really not a bad game at all if you’re into simulators. And i think this is where most people make the mistake of reviewing it like a regular game instead of a sim.
