Just Dance 2017

Just Dance 2017

ºWhat to say to Just Dance 2017?,in short, is another bad game of Bugsoft.

-Control (phone) disconnects ALL TIME, there is not 40 seconds connected to the computer (sometimes).

-In addition to paying $ 49.99(R$ 99,99), you DO NOT HAVE ALL THE MUSIC RELEASED TO PLAY, some you buy with the Ubisoft currency, some you need to have Just Dance Unlimited.

-Just Dance 2017 looks Just Dance Now, ridiculous.

-I did not ask for a refund because I am hopeful that they will solve the problems of this game soon.

Pros :

  • One of few games in Steam that makes you do workout instead of sitting all day.

  • Many selections of songs (about 50 built-in + more than 200 from Just Dance Unlimited).

  • The respond and accuracy is very good (better than Just Dance Now).

  • You can pay for Just Dance Unlimited subscription either from Credit Card or Steam Wallet (I like the latter option, since I don’t have credit card). The subscription price is more or less same than Just Dance Now subscription price.

  • Many modes, so pretty high replayability (apart from that many songs selection).

The puzzle mechanic is interesting and clever, but the game itself is almost unplayable as it is. There are no customization options at all - no mute, no non-fullscreen option, no settings of any kind.

Most bewilderingly, there is no button to exit the game. I had to force a quit from outside the program.

I am very disappointed and regret my purchase.

Honestly a great puzzler. Seems that the level design likes to punish “going with the flow” blindly, so you need to always stay on your toes. Seems difficult enough that it’s actually not suitable for small children.

The biggest detriment and unfortunately the biggest component of its difficulty is the “floaty” physics: the character’s acceleration from pressing arrow keys is linear; there’s no initial rapid acceleration from stand-still that almost all good games have.

This game’s best feature is the background sound. The game is simple, move around and get the words without getting nicked by one of the hazards.

Read about this on r/languagelearninng on reddit, really enjoying it so far :) Love the ability to upload your own vocab lists. The music is great, although I’d like to see the option to use your own at some point in the future. I teach English and this is something I think a lot of my students would enjoy instead of using regular flashcard apps. Great idea!

OK so. If you’re looking for a powerful sequencer, this is not the program your looking for, very few instruments, and a rather cluncky way of setting it up with all the extra pads and links you have to do. But if you just want a hella pretty looking and sounding game to just mess around with to show basic music stuff. I can no recommend this more, it is so beautiful and what little sounds are there are just amazing.

A musical and artistic journey in VR. Switch on the Cinematic mode and fly around its as trippy as hell but so much fun. The electro beat is repetitive but also soothing. I fell in love with this game.

If you like creating electronic beats this is the game for you i really hope they add a record mode so you can save your masterpieces for later.

For the price you will have fun it’s EA so i hope that more shape and sounds are added but its a good start a game with potential.

This is not a bad VR painting program. It’s pretty chill & relaxing and it has some cool features. Unfortunately, it really does pale in comparison to Tilt Brush. It’s just not as robust. So even though ArtPulse is listed at a lower cost price point, the missing features just make it something not viable as an art tool. Therefore, you’re better off buying Tilt Brush instead.

This game is super neat, especially if you already have a vocal background. It could get frustrating otherwise, as you will be asked to match pitch and harmonize. There’s also some rhythm elements, so having a sense for that will also help.

The sound design is lush and gives many clues. It takes the sounds that you’re producing and incorporates them into the game as you go, resulting in even richer soundscapes. The puzzles are occasionally mildly bewildering, but then they click and become super intuitive. The art style is super cute.

I love this game! I finished my first playthrough the same day it finished downloading, and I’m definitely going to play through it again. I keep hearing that the devs are going to add more content, which is super exciting. The voice controls are wonderfully intuitive - I grew up playing some of the first video games that used singing as a mechanic (think karaoke games) and wow - things have changed in a good way.

Some things to note: you’re going to want a decent mic for this. It doesn’t need to break the bank, but you should probably have a pop filter on it for best results. I didn’t play with one and it definitely picked up background noise on occasion. I’m not sure how to adjust the sensitivity of my mic personally, but you’re gonna wanna play around with things until you find something that works with your setup.
