RageBall

RageBall

Rageball is a modern version of Pong. There are 9 different areas all with blocks or obstacles in it. Instead of 1 ball you use 3 balls at once as well. The idea is simple yet creatively made and the game has decent graphics.

However the game doesn’t feel finished at all. There’s no difficulty options in single player: just one standard mode. The AI is easy to beat once you managed to get used to the idea of the game and the AI never seems to use the ‘Rageball’ that can be fired once you’ve blocked enough balls. It makes the game pretty repetitive in a short time.

Well, playing this game make me really rage because:

  • Music is off by default

  • Achievements are not working

  • Arenas are boring, just the same moving objects at different paths

  • And finally…I set the resolution wrong and now I can’t enter setting page again because the button is at outside

Will not play it even if it’s free…

Dark Roll: Free Kick Challenge

Dark Roll: Free Kick Challenge

Very fun game, downloaded it completely out of interest and have spent a decent amount of time playing it since.

Single player challenges start simple and ramp up in difficulty, and are a good way to learn different ways to hit the ball, ranked singleplayer modes are also enjoyable, and the leaderboards are competitive, with people consistently one-upping each other to be the best. The dev also actively deletes cheaters from the leaderboards to keep them legit

Multiplayer is a ton of fun, and a great way to play a nice quick game and climb the ladder. I’ve enjoyed ranking up through the ladder, and it’s nice queuing into the same high ranked people and adapting from their playstyles (HarryCane is in my head rent free, steals my rank everytime)

This game is very fun, whether you are bored or you’re actually in a mood to play a game like this. Lots of single player challenges that get reasonably more difficult, and ability to get all orbs is possible, though tedious. Only thing I would consider is making the ranking system a bit better (like how I deranked after just one match as a new rank, and even after being on a TWELVE game winning streak and then losing once again, I’m now an even lower rank), maybe some type of visible MMR or point system, and add more various challenges and modes (if possible)

Alpaca Ball: Allstars

Alpaca Ball: Allstars

Nice little indie gem with good core gameplay. It was designed with controller in mind. Playing with keyboard is possible but lacks precision in both movement and striking the ball. Has various arenas and ball types, but the single-player campaign is very short. I can only recommend to buy this one if you plan to play a lot of local co-op or during a deep sale. Online Multiplayer would be an awesome addition to the game that can justify the current full price.

I could not see where my first two hours of this game just vanished.

Super fun and super enjoyable.

Devs, if you are reading it, please consider an online mode with leadership table and other stuff. This would definitely motivate people to stick with the game and to look forward to any addons and different events.

Function World Gym

Function World Gym

Function World Gym is an Early Access Free to play VR exercise game. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has a tutorial zone. Has Internet radio menu, or you can setup and use website music like Spotify, Youtube, Pandora. Has 3 exercises: Squats, Forward Lunges, and Side Lunges, then there is 2 modes that combine the 3 exercises. Has steam leaderboard. The game might have been paid product at one time, now it is Free to play.

Con:

  • The background scenery moves too much, might cause problems with some systems.

Super Bomberman R Online

Super Bomberman R Online

A larger-scale battle royale version of one of the series that popularised it back in the days? Yes please!

I will say that there are some caveats.

The main battle royale mode (Battle 64) is free-to-play and will let you play with randoms and this mode features 64 players. There is no option to invite friends to join you in this mode.

HOWEVER, if you want to play Battle 64 with randoms and friends then as a workaround you will have to search for a game at the same time and hope that you end up in the same match. I searched for a game with a friend (who was on PSN) about 10 times in a row and we ended up in the same match about 9 of them so the chances of playing together are very high.

I love bomberman.

I played this when it dropped on Stadia, so I was excited for it to open up to other platforms. If you like classic bomberman, you’ll have a great time. Moving about the maps and choosing who to get locked into an arena with as the rounds roll on is very nice.

There is no pay to win here, the default character (white bomber) is far and away the best. For some reason, most of the characters in this game have extremely low caps to their stats, making well over half the cast useless or extremely situational as the player count dwindles.

ESport Manager

ESport Manager

Its a really unique idea for a game. Play as a FPS team or MOBO. Pretty polished.

Pro:

Concept. I don’t think I’ve played a game quite like it before.

Not to much micro management of the team just click on each one and click the objects to meet their needs, food, sleep etc.

Lots of features like sponsors, media coverage, perks

The auto buying I would have put as a con but the higher the skill of the team the smarter decisions in buying items they’ll make. I still wish they would change weapons to fit the perks assigned to them.

Hello!

As it is my first review, I would do it from 1 - 5 scale.

From beginning. I was waiting for this game looong looong time. Since I had access to beta, I’ve enjoy every minute of game UNTIL there was some bugs and we had only one mode (FPS).

Right now they released game as full product. Some of bugs are not fixed, for example:

  • Pathing of players - sometimes they stuck in doors.

  • Game saves

  • Stability

  • SIMULATION (NO NO NO NO NO)

So… Let’s start.

FROG X BIRD

FROG X BIRD

Once upon a time a frog

Croaked away in Bingle Bog

Every night from dusk to dawn

He croaked awn and awn and awn

Other creatures loathed his voice,

But, alas, they had no choice,

And the crass cacophony

Blared out from the sumac tree

At whose foot the frog each night

Minstrelled on till morning night

Neither stones nor prayers nor sticks.

Insults or complaints or bricks

Stilled the frogs determination

To display his heart’s elation.

But one night a nightingale

In the moonlight cold and pale

This game is EPIC fun. Brings back the old Joust days with a modern twist. I used this as a party game and we ended up playing for hours. Get 4 controllers and challenge your friends.

the basketball mode is incredible. Get the ball through the rings, so simple yet so challenging when youre friends are trying to hijack you.

I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in local gameplay and connecting with friends.
