Castle Flipper
i had 9 games on my wish list for the last 6 months and finally one of them came out—Castle Flipper. I love House Flippers and have about 400 hours on it. My first thought was this would be similar, but after reading the numerous negative comments, I realized it wasn’t. There were also complaints that the quests were completed in 10-12 hours and that was also a turn off. However, the Devs responded and explained the concept of building a castle after the quests.
The game was listed for about $5 (i live in a lower priced Country) and after some thought, I decided to give it a try. After all, everyone has different tastes. Boy was I glad. The setting and music are beautiful. I started by completing a couple of tasks and then was told to build my house. It only required a 4X4 floor plan and took no time to build. Then there were 2 new tasks, one of them was to clean up a ship. While that sounded cool, I realized that was the problem those negative reviewers had. They rushed, rushed, rushed. For example, one player I won’t name gave it a bad review saying there was little to do except the quests that took just a few hours. Yet, this player took the time to make a You Tube video of him playing the game. I watched it to pick up some tips. He rushed, rushed, rushed to complete the quests. This isn’t real life where we live in the fast lane. Slow down. Take a breath and enjoy the game. There is no prize for finishing the game quickly. He even commented that it only cost $10 so not worth the time to ask for a refund. What? Not worth the time. It takes less than a minute to ask for a refund on Steam (I know, I’ve refunded over half my games because they were too difficult.) If someone’s one minute of time is worth more than 10 bucks, then I’m in the wrong business.

First off all, I love these kinds of games. Building and maintaining your own settlement is something I can spend many hours on. Saying that you would think I would recommend this game seeing the endgame is based all around that. But sadly I cannot. The idea is there, build your own castle and collect rent. But the way this has been implemented simply isn’t satisfying. The world feels empty and barren, nothing happens beside the occasional ‘clutter everywhere incidents’ that makes you run around all the houses n clean stuff up. The visuals are great but without life within the game you quickly lose the drive to do anything.

And if you want, you’ll have the chance to work on your own projects! Choose the structure of your house: apartment, studio, house or duplex and decorate it however you like.

Planet Coaster
I’ve been playing Planet Coaster since the alpha was released, and followed its development ever since. This game offers in my opinion the most in-depth and player-friendly simulation of theme park management, with its vast variety of scenarios, missions, building styles, rides and coasters. It has managed to age quite well, especially considering that in a few days it will reach its FIVE-YEAR aniversary! I’ve also bought a few of the DLCs, and i can guarantee that most of them add even more creative possibilities and depth to the gameplay.

The base game feels empty and incomplete (because it is) and you’re expected to buy expansions to expand on the available scenery objects and rides. It’s an expensive model and although you can make some pretty cool stuff in this game, it ultimately is over priced and gameplay can be very tedious.

Toy Tinker Simulator: Prologue
A super cute game that isn’t too difficult, it’s perfect to just relax and enjoy as you tinker on toys. It doesn’t require much mind power at all, just click and point or occasionally move your mouse around. The graphics are really nice, it’s aesthetically pleasing and it has realistic tools to work with. It isn’t hard to help repair these too-loved toys to their former glory!
My only request would probably make it a tad more hands on, such as having to assemble the toy at the end by putting it together yourself rather than just clicking and having it magically appear in place.

I really enjoyed the prologue to this game, I’m super excited to see the whole game come together! It has similar vibes to House Flipper, but it feels more straight to the point, and it’s based on fixing up toys! I feel like an Elf in Santa’s workshop, I loved it. I can’t wait to see all the other toys we will get to fix up, getting to use even better tools and equipment, and being able to deck out the office/workshop!
I liked the intro music as you come into the main menu of the game, but I wasn’t as much interested in the music choices whilst in the game. Personally I would have liked to hear something more relaxing, but that is just personal preference. I do very much appreciate that you can shift through music in the game, and can also pause it.

Yeah it’s released finally and I like this game! To build up my tower with all this different parts is fun and to see how it works against gravity and natural forces is also great. The defend could be challenging sometimes but after a while there is always a way :)
Of course I am not yet through every level but so far I would clearly recommend it.

Farm Day 2021
This game is not demanding on resources and does not take up much space on your PC. I liked it as I have an old computer. There are a lot of different gameplay elements and interaction functionality. Recommend!
