Lo-Fi Lounge

Lo-Fi Lounge

Really good VR experience. Chill place to take a break - even when no one else is there. The lounge set-up is sweet and the music is a vibe. Even better when other people show up, too. Had a good conversation about space travel.

i really wanted to post a posative review on this game but i have no choice to not recomend this game ive played 35 hours and thats just dying and respawning i havent had a chance to build anything or even survive you die from something that isnt food or water being lacked its just your health drains for no reason and the guns are broken when you respawn and collect them from your body despite me telling the dev over a year ago about these issues he said they would be fixed at the end of the month that was last year they are not fixed and your forced to start a fresh game multipal times at every update more or less not to mention get perma banned from the hub because you post a comment about the issues not being fixed and ban reason harrasment how is telling a dev something isnt fixed harrasment if you like survival games find another one because the dev seems to have gone off on one and banning everyone that posts negativity in his discord or on the steam page itself instead of messaging me asking me why i was so upset about the game and what can be done he perma bans me for harrasment he has a gold member thing on his discord if you aint part of that you aint gettin support as one user found out when he got banned from the discord just for mentioning the same game breaking stuff i experianced for 33 hours i have done nothing but die respawn collect my stuff to not have the guns work cant eat meat the map keeps ending up with roads and then no roads in the next update as a ex dev i gave this developer a chance because i dont review games on the way they are i test them extensivaly and then review them but when the dev starts acting like a child and bans me for no reason then that makes me angry all i have merely tried to do is play this game in peace but loose everything on death and when collecting the guns from your dead charcter there renderd unusable he wont fix it i wish to go i never purchased this game now and got a refund but i thought no ill give the dev a chance as i see too many devs slated down for there games in early access but banning me for expressing my feelings and how i think he should fix things in the game is childish

This is my 50 hrs review of the the game, and i will continue to update it as the game moves on.

Lets break this game down into a few components all scores are subjective according to the games i like and play:

1)Difficulty. 9/10 If you have trouble getting started, or feel like you are running around in circles, reach out and we can help. Survival is in the name so expect it to be hard. Very easy to recover health once you are geared up making you almost invulnerable so docking a point for that.

FyreXR Festival

I guess no one else saw this and paid for it. I think the idea is amazing however i hope that i can use the game in the future because none of the dates and times for the events were correct. Also i did not see a single person who wasnt an npc. Basically it is just a recreation of an insland festival in VR. Some of the scenery and music was great and some of it wasnt. Giving this a bad review only because i paid for this and the description of the events was innacurate so basically a waste of money unless they redo it.

Heliborne Collection

Heliborne Collection

This is a shortened version of a longer review I wrote of the game - Steam didn’t have enough room for all of the gushing praise I have for Heliborne. This was written in August of 2018, but I’ve adjusted it to account for recent updates.

Heliborne is a helicopter action game similar to World of Tanks or World of Warplanes, but with no real micro-transactions (skins can be purchased, both with real money and experience points, but they are purely cosmetic). Players are introduced to a series of NATO (primarily American) and Russian helicopters, beginning with piston-driven craft that handle like flying barges armed with simple machine guns to sleek modern attack choppers with guided missiles. Each chopper handles differently and mastering their unique characteristics is a lot of fun. The flight model is definitely more arcade than sim, but each bird has real heft and momentum in flight. Getting from point A to point B (or, should I say, LZ 1 to LZ 2?) isn’t terribly difficult, but doing it with style? Coming into a hot LZ at speed to drop troops under heavy fire? That takes a little bit of practice. A basic understanding of the physics Grand Theft Auto was able to figure it out fairly quickly.

Kukoro: Stream chat games

Kukoro: Stream chat games

Been enjoying the game so far. Players beware this is an early access game. So there’s still much room for improvement.

I’d love to see it grow from here as there’s much fun to be had in stream chat games.

So far, some games are much more enjoyable and intuitive than others.

The sniper game seems way too hard for the streamer to win. The ways to scan players are not very clear to me.

Perfect Warrior seems a bit pointless as an endless game. Could use a few extra features to make it more enjoyable (powers, random items,…)

Most of my time is just idling in training, but it’s fun when you can actually get someone to play it with. Most game modes are fun and they definitely need to add more RP ones, they’re the most entertaining.

My biggest issue is that the character art doesn’t really match the backgrounds and I don’t really like it in general. However, they do it really well and there are a ton of fun skins to use.

I think they really need to make the game client more useful for non-streamers and add some more interactivity with it instead of just something that runs in the background while you watch the stream. Having to use a game key to view statuses (werewolf, etc.) is pretty annoying. Also it should be clarified more that you don’t login to the service to play with a streamer. It took me a while to figure out that’s the reason my skins/emotes weren’t updating on the stream.

AltspaceVR

AltspaceVR

AltspaceVR is one of my favourite VR applications, i’ve spent many hours on it watching YouTube videos with strangers, having lightsaber battles, eating marshmallows, dancing to live DJ parties and much more!

PROS :

  • A fairly big community (for a VR app) You’ll usually find people online at any time of the day.

  • Cross-platform support. You can meet people using the Gear VR, Google Daydream, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and even people without headsets playing in 2D mode.

  • People are very friendly. Even if you feel like someone is acting badly, you can simply mute or block them.

Used to be good till they removed everything the community liked. They used to have body tracking, a easily usable sdk, hand tracking, and a shared browser. So long as you agree with everything they do and have no opinion of your own you’ll be fine there, but if you express concern about something or question anything then you’ll be removed. Also, it behaves like spyware, writing out randomly titled files to places in the hard drive like C:\Windows\System32 and other such obscure places that aren’t easily user accessible for the sole purpose of tracking you after you’ve decided to uninstall it. They don’t do anything to protect user privacy. Any picture you upload doesn’t get exif data stripped out, so any image that gets uploaded that was taken with a phone will have the GPS coordinates attached and can be read by anyone. It’s trivially easy to get past their joke of security on their servers and get the e-mails and birth days of anyone with an account. When you tell them about their security holes and suggest things they can do better they deny that any security holes exist. They let known child predators go around grooming children and go so far as to threaten to ban the users trying to report them, with proof. All-in-all, if you’re looking for a platform where you can be surrounded by kids, threatened by staff, and get anything you try to do ripped off with no credit then this is the place for you.

games actually really fun. main issue is only duos, so if your a solo player like me you might not have fun. the movement spells does it for me. you can have any combo of spells and do what you like. some shit may be better, but if you are good with landing spells its fine. its still really early on in the games life, the devs are active and in their discord, they listen to the community since its such a small game right now. I highly recommend trying this game

Honestly a great game. My friends and I were looking for a fun game to play together. We were surprised with how much we enjoyed playing this game. Although the game is deceptively simple and easy enough to get into it also offers a competitiveness that we found refreshing. As the game is still new, It’s cool you can talk to the devs directly on discord and offer suggestions. They DO respond and welcome honest feedback. We all plan to play this game much more! Give it a shot, its free!

The untapped potential of Adonis is more than evident. Getting to see the awesome work of the dev team during the beta has given me a lot of hope for what this little open world RPG has to come. I am especially looking forward to the PVP side of things as the team has specifically put in quite a bit of time in that area, even creating an amazing arena for future tournaments to be held in. The physics feel nice and the graphics are cute and entertaining.

Definitely be on the look out for this one in the coming months as more updates are released.
