I really liked this game, it makes even a dumb idiot like me think outside of the box and it promotes thought,
it tackles the issues of the modern day media and for me personally it hit a soft spot on the subject of depression linked to social media. i’d suggest this game to anyone who wants some food for thought and a cute well put together small game that doesn’t take up much of your time but will stay with you for a long while

AREA MAN LIVES
AREA MAN LIVES. Or does he? If you could join a radio drama already in progress, talk to the characters and interact with the environments the story painted in your mind, you might find yourself in the world of the area man.
A quirky radio drama unfolds around you in VR while you do your best to keep the radio station humming along as its new DJ. You record commercials, interview callers and try your best to piece together how your actions inside the station impact your listening audience in scenarios so wild they can only live in your imagination.

Dr Livingstone, I Presume?
Dr. Livingstone is a very well thought out adventure that tells a fictionalized account of the friendship between Henry Stanley and David Livingston. You play from the first person perspective of Henry and have arrived at David’s house in Africa to check on his well being. You find the house in disarray and must work your way through looking for your friend.
The game is like an ‘escape the room’ exercise with an ongoing narrative told through David’s letters/memos and Henry’s comments. You solve a variety of puzzles in each room in order to find the key to the next room. In this manner, you work your way through the house.

Dr Livingstone, I Presume? is an astonishingly beautiful escape room game based on historical characters and facts, yet the game’s narrative is given a slightly fictional interpretation, as envisioned by the creators.
You take the role of the journalist Henry Morton Stanley, who receives a letter from his friend, David Livingstone - a renowned explorer - urgently asking for his help. While historically Stanley embarks on an expedition to Africa in search of the famous missionary who had vanished several years earlier, here he is summoned to the professor’s house. Upon his arrival, he finds the rooms devoid of any presence and no trace of Dr. Livingstone.

EXP: War Trauma
Attention: This game has high psychological terror and scares, not recommended for people with heart conditions. By playing, you accept the above term and are on your own.
With extremely immersive first-person gameplay, EXP is a short experience, but extremely detailed and terrifying, an intense psychological horror.
Gameplay

Narrative
EXP: War Trauma has a fictional story, inspired by some historical facts from World War II.
You are Krieger, a traumatized WW2 soldier, as you progress through the experience, you will discover more about his history, his traumas, and what happened to him.
EXP Meaning
“EXP” stands for “Experience” which marks the beginning of a series of short games, with different themes, with the first being “War Trauma”.

Being a new style of game, which brings a short but detailed and atmospheric experience, to bring the greatest possible immersion, which would not be possible to be created by Indies Developers, if it were on a larger scale.
Spirit of the North
Spirit of the North is a visually stunning game with a sound track that creates waves of emotion. You control a fox, journeying through a magical northern landscape, accompanied by a spirit fox/entity. Along the way, you have the option of ‘waking’ the dead by matching corpses with staffs. You recharge your spirit energy by finding blue flowers and then light towers and destroy darkness to create a path to the Spirit World. As you progress, you earn additional abilities and new fox ‘skins.’ Puzzles are about finding things and activating spirit stones in the proper order to open new areas. At this point, I am deep into Chapter 5 (with 70% achievements) but I have enough hours invested that I think I can fairly assess the game. While you learn a bit of regional history from the stone carvings, there is no real story up to this point. I don’t know if more will be revealed when/if I make it to the Spirit World towards the end of the game.

🔴 Circles
Circles has an interesting concept with a minimalistic lookout.
The player controls a small circle that has to meet another, a bit bigger circle, of the same color. On the promotional video it looks a bit messy what is going on the screen, but it is easy to figure it out while playing.
Every level has a slightly different mechanics - some are very easy while some require patience or precision. There are 4 extra modes to unlock - they add extra mechanics to the regular levels.
There is no counter or failures nor “no death” achievements. The player can fail as many times as needed and is not being punished in any way, which is great.

You are a circle and need to go from circle A to circle B by moving your mouse.
That’s the only input you need.
There are circular obstacles in your way which you mustn’t touch.
Their diameter increases or decreases depending on your movement or they move depending on your movement.
There are different types of circle obstacles:
Popper: linear to your moved mouse way increasing diameter to a specific value and then decreasing it to zero and then endlessly repeating the loop
Mover: this circle moves along a circle way when you move.

Oneiros
Oneiros is an absolutely fantastic experience that falls on blind eyes: It’s realistic yet mysterious approach to world building, the bright color palette, ways in which the story progresses, transitions through-out the journey, comedic moments, strategic methods regarding puzzles, and enjoyability from beginning to end. All of it together paints a journey…of a man, created by Coal Valley Games.
This new endeavor for the creator’s developmental journey, was a way for the developer to branch out. After years of experience as a game developer, he always felt the need to make a story-driven game, so in 2018, he started production. After two years of hard work, on March 27th, 2020, Oneiros was public for the world to see…or…not…see…

First Impressions🤔
After completing the game I am glad I stuck with it, and enjoyed most of my time playing Oneiros.
My mind changed from positive to negative a few times mainly due to an infuriating psychedelic maze and an awkward platform level. They were almost enough for me to quit the game completely.

ASMR LIGHTness - Light painting 💡
A great little puzzler to stimulate your mind. If you’re a fan of Hidden Object Games you may have come across this type of puzzle before as you try to untangle a series of nodes connected by stretchy bands with no crossovers allowed.
Gentle music and soothing lightning make for a nice peaceful game. I enjoyed solving a puzzle or three at the end of the day to unwind. You’re rated one to three stars on completion based on, finishing the puzzle, the fewest number of moves, and then on the smoothest execution/speed.
