Wellp… I’m in two minds about this game.
On the one hand, there are pluses, which are few in number and which are rather subjective, but still:
-
lovely color spectrum that creats peculiar mood;
-
interesting ideas and details, especially these creepy snowmen.
On the other side, there is the whole Mount Everest of minuses. Bugs driving me crazy (red coins will appear in my wortst nightmares); a lot of pointless interactive subjects which don’t hold any secrets or don’t have any value for the plot (why? are they for distraction?); knowing absolutely nothing about the protagonist, who is he or she, what happend to him/her, why is the whole village abandoned, where do these creepy snowmen come from, what do they want, ARE WE EVEN ALIVE????? Ugh, so many questions, so little answers.

TIMESCAPE: Altitude
Its a VERY hard escape the room game, probably the hardest ive played. Played for ~2hrs and i couldnt finish it… i was stuck most of the time, so not many puzzles solved or anything like that.
I think it has to do with some solutions where quite hard to make sense of.
Like, the very first puzzle, you start “chained” and have to find the code to your lock… the answer is right in front of you, but when i finally solved it, WHY would “THAT” be the combination??
There arent any clues to make me think those 2 things are related between them or even with my lock.

👍I Expect You To Fly?
I love that being trapped alone on a crashing plan adds a REAL REASON to want to escape!
Overall, you can expect a set of HIGHLY unique and “real world” based puzzles, where all the answers are there, but it’s still tricky. It’s not as “big studio polished” as the more well know and comical based “spy’s who die” escape rooms are. So don’t go in expecting that.
😃 Best way to play is…
It’s super fun to play while in our Voice Chat, so other’s can taunt/help/sabotage you in a playful way. A few in our Steam Group (link below) have been doing that and loving it. Brings a whole new level to the fun.

Walking into Walls
If you enjoy moving through what resembles ventilation ducts with a compass, this game is for you. Five minutes of this was enough to give up caring if there might be an actual puzzle to be found at the end.

Between Time: Escape Room
Between Time is third game from mc2games and, in my opinion, it is their best release to date. I enjoyed both previous titles (Palindrome Syndrome and Tested On Humans) which had well thought out puzzles but could be a bit confusing at times.
In Between Time, the interface has been slightly tweaked and seemed more intuitive. The development team has done a great job providing visual clues on related puzzles and there is a gentle hint system if you are stuck. They also posted a full solution guide which I only referred to once. This game has a time travel theme so it is played in five distinct environments, each with a new set of diverse puzzles. Most are easily solved if you are paying attention, as clues tend to be in plain sight.

really love the fun and challenging puzzles. not TOO frustrating.
I find the clues are really well done. Some other puzzle games might just not tell you anything at all to make it “challenging”. Really that’s poor design and frustrating to the player.
This game however is really fun with interesting locales.

Extreme Escape
It’s do short quest, but a superb start. I think Immersion could develop the idea and make some other extreme envs in THIS game, so we could choose them from start menu. (or like dlc)
btw there is no full Valve Index support. It runs well, but finger tracking is a really good thing.
Also it will be great to add EARTH during the fall. To see that we are really going to die, it will be more atmospheric. Now there is only the sky view
Aaand the last thing - teleport is not obvious. If you indicate your controller on the place you are not allowed for teleporting, you will not see the circle. And sometimes it’s a bit confusing cause you think - it’s not working at all

Surprisingly fun and Exciting!
Gotta praise the level design! The environment is perfect for a small standing room scale setup, yet it never feels claustrophobic. being able to climb around inside and outside the aircraft in the middle of the storm is extremely immersive and thrilling! The ‘escape-room’ puzzles are brilliant; just complex enough to get your brain working, but never outlandish or frustrating (felt more like an adventure while playing).
The experience itself is rather short about 30 - 60 minutes in total, but it launches from an in-game hub/library, hinting at the fact that more experiences/missions will be added in future updates, hopefully the devs keep updating this one as it has a lot of promise!

Survival Escape Room
A fun horror game that actually made me jump multiple times. Not gory or overly-frightening so I’d recommend it to people of all ages. Excited for more escape rooms in the future!

Im sorry if I didn’t play it right or something but I got one jumpscare, got sent back to beginning and then finished the game with no problem. I will not really recommend this game as it took me 5 mins to complete. But if it was developed into something more, I will def take another look at it.

The Experiment: Escape Room
I spent most of my time being stuck in the main area, so I looked at the reviews to see if anyone else was stuck. I tried changing the graphics settings, and it showed my way forward. It’s difficult to recommend this if you never know if you’re simply not thinking of the puzzle, or if it simply isn’t working properly. I don’t want to spoil anything, but there were multiple cases in which this stopped me from moving forward.
The other issue involved the hints. They simply don’t work for me. It’ll say the next hint is in 0 seconds, but nothing else would happen.

Although the game was pretty much fun and challenging and i won’t recommend it.
Me and a friend just randomly skipped 2 total rooms, because i tried the door with the injections randomly and it worked, because i had 3 numbers and we were desperatly trying to get further.
It should not be possible to just skip rooms like that.
Also there was a bug, were we could press a button which we should not have been able to do, because we pretty much skipped some riddles.
Through a buggy keypad we figured out a code, which we would just find out like 2 or 3 rooms later, because it randomly showed us the 2 numbers missing.

The Unwelcomed
I don’t have VR so I can only talk about the non-VR version of The Unwelcomed. It’s also worth noting that this game wasn’t originally designed for non-VR play, so my experience may differ drastically from those with VR.
I thought this game was a lot of fun. There isn’t really anything in terms of a plot or story. You just enter a room and have to solve puzzles to get back out. In my opinion the lack of story or overarching purpose for the player character doesn’t necessarily hurt the experience too much. This is an “Escape the Room” game about solving puzzles. Most of the puzzles are pretty clever and creative. Some could use a little work, but more on that in a bit.

Pros
-
puzzles are creative and clever
-
the overall look of the rooms is pleasing
-
the lighting engine works really well
Cons
-
the controls, for non VR expecially, are very clunky
-
Some of the puzzles were more guesswork than puzzles
Spoiler warning
These are more aimed for the devs, I made a few mental notes whilst playing the game, I figured I would share them.
! General
more games should have a no-spider option
! There needs to be some way to spin objects whilst holding them in non VR
