The Endless Adventure
something reminded me of the game soul knight, only this is the PC version with an endless passage. in general, it is not demanding on the hardware of the computer, which is very cool. for 0.24 cents, you can kill a lot of free time.

Pros: It was half a buck, game was “released” 4 days ago (8/22/2021, I’m playing it late 8/26/2021).
Maybe more content is forthcoming? I bought it because it claimed to be “Endless” (both in the game title and in the description) and tagged as Roguelike (implying starting over has some “legacy benefit” carrying over from the previous games).
Cons: (Reviewing it as I currently experience it…) It’s only 5 levels (not endless), ends without warning (“descend the 5th staircase and get a giant “GAME OVER” message, then restarts at level 1 with nothing carrying over). Gold serves no purpose (no merchants). Item values have no purpose (no merchants). Inventory space fills up quickly so you either discard items or ignore loot. Found no use for magic despite potions to raise magic and restore magic all over the place. You can’t even see your magic points (literally pointless? LOL). Every foe deals 1 damage and every attack deals 1 damage to them. Weapons and Armor levels are pointless. Also, attacking things is really odd… it’s like the game barely responds to the mouse click and the instructions don’t tell you you need to actually click on the foe - just a very awkward implementation. You get two gold keys at start which open locked doors. You never get another gold key but encounter about a dozen locked doors scattered within the levels. You only ever encounter two enemies - a rat, and a bastard skeletal archer that mercilessly sinks arrows into you as you approach, killing you very quickly early on, even after quaffing the starting pack of health increase potions.

Alice Trapped Beyond Wonderland
A very interesting game, the puzzles are good, some of them are more abstract but usually you can figure it out if you take 1 thing at a time. I played the entire game in one video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tq7XLmEFow
It’s a magical world filled with beautiful castles and images, sometimes you see more “mature” things like a prison cell or an abandoned train but it’s great for kids and adults. The whole game is about 1 hour long, it will take most people 4 hours to beat. It’s great for this price

if something looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s most likely a duck. and while alice trapped beyond wonderland looks like a hidden object game, it doesn’t have any quacking hidden object scenes, so I gladly took a gander.

The Chambers
The puzzles in this room escape game are rather simple, no real challenge. It lasts less than an hour and would have been fine at that point. But then there is the last achievement for finding a hidden room, that means pixel hunting for 4 invisible buttons across 25 screens.
Reaching the last room nets the final achievement, no solving of the 4 puzzles within necessary. 2 of these puzzles are straightforward, 1 requires trying a few possible solutions (multiple solutions match the corresponding hint but only one works) and 1 with a hint which I could only decipher by knowing the solution after brute forcing it. The reward for solving those puzzles is one more screen, with only a single interactable that doesn’t interact (seems broken) and no way to back out.

A puzzly chamber game.
I don’t know what is going on, or what do i have to do, but hey i can turn on all the 3 lights at least :)
Reminded me a bit of that visual basic weird russian puzzle application “game”, except this is not remotely as weird.

Samsara Room
I love Rusty Lake and have done their cube escapes from ages ago as well as the paid for games; however I’ve given up on this one - I’m just too thick. I’ve used the walkthrough and looked up walkthroughs online and I still can’t work out why a certain thing is happening or the reasoning behind certain patterns. As a result I’ve given up because it’s meaningless doing a puzzle just blindly clicking because a walkthrough told you to.
The end for me was the birds nest and when I tried to find out the logic behind clicking in that particular order found out a circumstance that baffled me because I just couldn’t fathom why you would do the thing that triggered it (spoiler avoidance for the braniacs amongst us). At that point I just gave up as I realised that whatever wavelength I was on it wasn’t Rusty Lakes in this particular instance.

Short and spoopy puzzle/adventure game. Should only take an hour or two. Lightly creepy, but safe for people who don’t like scary games: Imagine if Edward Gorey made a Twin Peaks-inspired escape room. (There is a cartoony naked corpse of a husky old man, but the naughty bits are tastefully in shadow.) Some puzzles aren’t trivial, but they’re all fair and not horribly difficult.
This is a remaster of the original Flash game, before Rusty Lake (the developer) started the Rusty Lake series proper. The Samsara Room remaster includes a secret level that makes its connection to the overall series more explicit. It meant little to me (I haven’t played the rest of Rusty Lake yet!), but it’s a fun little extra after you finish the main game. You can find instructions how to get there in lots of places on the Internet.

Cube Escape: Paradox
Over half of the game content is outside of the game.
The game itself is good and fun… but if yeh try to complete the game honestly with no cheating, yeh are gonna have bad time.
I finally googled how to get last achevements, over half of them… and found out there is movie yeh are supposed to watch. Game has link on this movies trailer, which does not contain the hints.
If I wanted to go around internet googling for information, I would be doing school work or research. When I buy game, I want to the puzzle pieces to be in the game. When is the last time yeh bought buzzle from shop and found out, not all the pieces are in the box you got… Not common, because that is not how puzzle games work.

tl;dr: Rusty Lake games are Brilliant! They took a step further and made a movie!
Pros:
-
Really well crafted universe with rich story
-
Decent blend of easy and challenging puzzles
-
They Made A Movie with this one!
-
Prefer mobile? They have more games on iOS app store
-
Achievements, game, and movie all tied together. How cool is that!
Cons:
-
Wish all of their mobile games were on Steam, I currently have the whole series on my phone
-
If you don’t like puzzle or escape games this will be a hit or miss for you

Orbis Fugae
Anya’s Story: Follow self-crowned Pirate Queen Anya Ophelia Morgan on a world-spanning quest to uncover the truth about her father, a secret treasure, an unknown cult and – most of all – herself. Her Adventure might lead her to places she didn’t expect.
Past meets present: Orbis Fugae combines traditional Point&Click Gameplay with puzzle design straight out of popular Escape Room mechanics and ideas. Many puzzles require the player to investigate the environment and documents, check rooms and scenes for irregularities, clues or hints, and think outside the box.
Solutions might not be clear, but hidden within another puzzle.
Escape! Escaping puzzle rooms is a big part of Orbis Fugae: In many cases, Anya will find herself in a locked room environment and will have to discover a way to escape. The correct way out might not always be clear - so be sure to check everything at your disposal.
Meet interesting people, find exciting treasures and learn to escape any trap you might encounter.
Orbis Fugae is a story-driven Point&Click Escape Adventure featuring hand-drawn art and animation, and an atmospheric soundtrack.
Everything in your environment may be part of a puzzle - so keep your eyes open and your brain running!
Kitty wants pizza is a one-person indie project by Timo from Germany. This is a project I’m trying to do all by myself, without prior programming knowledge. All graphics and animations are hand-drawn, all music composed from scratch.

Heal
I am disappointed with the game, I think it just wasn’t for and was not what I expected. If you can’t handle clunky controls think twice before buying this. In every single level the game annoyed me with its controls in some way.
I understand that it’s a port, but it could have been done better.
EDIT: Turns out the game is not a port, but a multi platform release. Which does excuse the controls somewhat, since releasing on mobile and PC is difficult. However since PC is the main market for the game, I still believe it could have been done better.

This piano melody seems vaguely familiar…
Heal sets you in the shoes of an unnamed old man as he wakes up from a dreamless sleep. However, the house he wakes up in is different from what you’d expect. Instead of waking up to the same old room, the door is locked and the only way to unlock it is to solve some puzzles around the room. From here, you guide the old man through seven different rooms where you’ll solve many puzzles along the way.
Heal is pretty easy to pick up, both from how it controls and how the puzzles are designed. You control the old man’s movement by just clicking where you want him to go with icons popping up for items or areas that you can interact with. These icons do require you to hold them down for about two seconds, but you’ll pretty quickly get used to it. Usually, this includes zooming into a puzzle (where you’ll be able to click or drag moving pieces), but it also includes looking through a cracked door or a window to see a puzzle hint/solution and walking through a door to get to the next chapter.

Spirit of Midnight
Spirit of Midnight is a charming adventure game. Play as a house cat who gains the ability to leave home and embark on a supernatural adventure after encountering a strange spirit. Befriend a badger and meet other adorable creatures along the way, all in an effort to restore balance to the forest and uncover the truth behind its mysteries.
Use and combine items in your inventory to solve situational puzzles in humorous ways. Sit back, interact, and be entertained. Professionally scored with original music and nighttime vibes. Controller play recommended.
