Knights of the Chalice
While I recommend this game, it’s with the caveat that you understand that this is not a ‘Zone Clear’ game. Unless you use the tools put into your hands AND get lucky, spend excess time traveling the areas and picking up XP if you want a good bit of cushioning between your characters and the power level of the bullshit that will be placed in your path.
The orc fort, as has been mentioned elsewhere, has a fucking dragon halfway through the area. Even though there is a contingent opportunity that you can pick up some dragon-slaying arrows, they are not guaranteed to kill the damn thing and your level will be too low to fight it head on if you have followed the story path.

A work of Art
For the longest time I refused to buy this game. It looks just like Ultima 6 but that was a game from 1990.. It also plays very much like the game but with tweeks and rules from the beloved 3.5DnD. With that being said, I don’t think this game will sell well. 20$ is an outrageous sum.. It needs to be 10$. Only die hard fans of 3.5 would throw their money at this at first glance. I understand that some developers are artists, and this is worthy of being art. If the developer can afford to do this, then I guess that’s fine. However, they are missing their chance to expose their art to thousands of people who enjoy the old school. I don’t think they realize that there are hundreds of similar games that are either free or for half the price. So when people see that price tag they will pass it up as I did. As I said, I refused to buy this and probably would never have. In contrast, when I heard that some of the quests were based on classic DnD modules that I enjoyed, I forked out the cash.

Season of War (Alpha)
Season of War (The story of the past) — a complete reinterpretation of the classic Adventure.
Expressive presentation of the epic plot of Season of War, unusual and colourful action, music and pleasant graphics in the game will allow you to spend time with pleasure.
The plot of the game!
live together with Antonizar the history of his formation and Glory. Together with your colleagues, having passed through severe trials, create a Hammer guild, save Engelm, uncover the plot of Morhrok!
RPG-arcade action game!
The Season of War combat system has no analogues. This is a proprietary development of the SinorCreate team!
It is represented by a combination of conventional shooting, typical for arcade games, using the abilities and individual techniques of the heroes, which is typical for an RPG. Juicy and bright effects and a well-thought-out balance of forces complement the energy of the fights! Each character is played absolutely differently. And the pace of the battle will only add emotions to the fight!
An expressive game world!
In the Season of War locations, you can feel a piece of the soul of each of the development team! There are no identical locations in the game. As the story progresses, the world changes from dim to brighter.
Epic Bosses!
At the end of the chapters of the game, you meet with Bosses. Each of them is unique. Everyone has their own story and motives.
Gilbert:
For the greedy Gilbert, only money and power are important. He is ruthless, cunning and swift. But Rastor is also not a miss. His techniques are powerful. But only the skill of the player can decide the outcome of the battle.
Islock:
Stop the naive and arrogant Islok. Save the magician from the consequences of rash actions. Fight him in his illusory world.
We are not standing still!
The game is not ready yet. But we have already released 13 updates, five of them are global.
We have reworked the Gameplay, Graphics and partially the Plot!
We are completing the Alpha testing and moving on to the Beta test. The output is planned: 4-5 chapters (instead of two and the beginning of the third), new Heroes, Bosses, Locations!
The release is planned: for the middle of 2023.
Your opinion is important to us!
We are happy to communicate directly with the player if he wants! The opportunity for communication is realized. Many innovations and improvements were proposed by users. If you have any ideas, we are always happy to listen!
No Donation or Microtransactions!
By purchasing the game, you get a guarantee that updates will be sent to you in the future. You will not need to pay extra for anything. The game will never have donat options, and your opinion will definitely be listened to.
If you bought the Game – you bought the whole game.
Men of War: Assault Squad
Im on the back foot…
Enemy infantry made it past my front line, a situation that comprimises my whole team, I purchase and sent out a Half-Track with mounted .50 caliber heavy machine gun to clear them up.. however on the way an the debries from a building hit by artilery hits happens to hit and take out the gunner.. Time for a bit of fast micro.. Upon reaching the area the enemy was last spotted there is no sign of them, they have likely scattered into various cover (all units in a squad can be indivudually controlled in fine detail or directly controlled) .. I spot an enemy half track! The hole in my front line is bigger than I thought.

5/18/14 Update
It is reality, Gamespy will be shutting down as of May 31, 2014, When Gamespy shuts down, MP for Men of war , other than AS2 , will be dead. People mention 3rd party programs you can use for matchmaking after the shut down. That is not practical as those 3rd party programs won’t be as safe. The issue has been brought up, why not just use Steamworks for MP? That’s a very valid question, the reality of the situation is, the company that makes this, is lazy, and would rather force everyone to buy their new game. Truly unfortunate because Assault Squad 1 is one of my favourite strategy games of all time, heck, even one of my most favourite games of all time. To see a company do this when they had the chance to show they support their community and their games, is truly unfortunate. Who is to say they won’t do the same thing to AS2 in a few months?

Company of Heroes - Legacy Edition
Company of heroes is a masterful example of how Detail and polish on even the smallest of elements can marry Gameplay and theme to create something that truly deserves a place among the greatest games of all time.
Company of Heroes is a Real time strategy game with a WW2 era finish, and my god this finish is pristine. The game’s basic gameplay elements (both single player and multiplayer) are unique and offer true decision making and deliberation on your part to be successful; positioning of weapons teams and the will to only fight when you have something to gain is most important of all. Holding territory and maneuvering into a position of power is the game of war, not pointless bloodshed.

I remember having played this game for the first time when it was released. Being a fan of RTS games, especially the ones released by Relic, there was no way I was going to let this one go. It wouldn’t be an understatement to say I was literally hooked from the word go. No RTS before or since has been on the same level as this.
The single player campaign was just brilliant. If I had to point out a weakness, the only one I can come up with is that it’s a bit short. I just couldn’t have enough of it. But it’s not a perfect world. Relic’s competitors can maybe come up with a 20 mission campaign with mediocre results, but this one gave you 13 that were nothing short of brilliant. They were varied in terms of gameplay, offering multiple methods to achieve the objectives.

Homeworld Remastered Collection
PLEASE SEE EDIT AT BOTTOM, ORIGINAL REVIEW IS POSTED IN ITS ENTIRETY FROM RELEASE TO CURRENT STATE
Sadly, as a HW player since the first game came out, (Back in 1999) I cannot recommend this game.
The first time I played Homeworld, I was a young boy about 8 years of age. My grandfather introduced me to the game, and whenever I go see him I will still play LAN games against him, on the same two disks that we have always played on. Now, with that being said, at 8 years of age I didn’t really understand tactics or how to win, the main objective for me was to build a heavy cruiser and try bum rushing the enemy mothership, praying that my prized cruiser didn’t get salvaged in the process! As I grew older and understood the game more, I enjoyed it more as I began using formations and tactics to alter the outcome of battles, some of which were against slim to none odds.

Homeworld remastered collection
Homeworld is one of my favorite games, when i heard it was coming to steam, i immediately bought it (and it was the reason i got into steam) and when i got my first game, i couldn’t be more excited.
By playing both remastered and classic versions, i can see all the improvements they have done, and unlike many remasters out there in popular games, this one actually improves some gameplay mechanics rather than just giving some crispy new graphics.
Classic version

“Beware the Alien, the Mutant, the Heretic”
‘Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War’ is, simply put, one of the best Real-Time Strategy games on the market - A blood-soaked odyssey through the Warhammer 40k Universe - filled with Imperial Space Marines, Ork Hordes, Eldar and The Forces of Chaos.
Campaign: Released in 2004 by Relic Entertainment, ‘Dawn of War’s’ brutal opening cinematic sets the stage for what awaits within - a savage battlefield across the Imperial Planet of Tartarus where the local population have been suddenly beset by Ork Hordes. As Commander of the Space Marines (The Emperor’s Personal Guard), you begin a quest to push back the Orks and determine why they are on the planet. A deep and engaging story-fueled campaign takes you from cities to lost ruins, from mountains lairs to the planets icy tundras, leading a tech heavy force of Space Marines, Mech Walkers, Artillery Tanks, Predator Tanks and Terminator Assault Squads, to unearth the cause of this strange heresy plaguing the planet.

STAR WARS™ Empire at War - Gold Pack

Empire at War is a Real Time Strategy game on a galactic scale.
How you can play:
🔸 1 x Empire Campaign
🔹 1 x Rebel Campaign
🔸 1 x Zann Consortium Campaign [Forces of Corruption]
🔹 Galactic Conquest (sandbox on some or all of the ~70 systems)
🔸 Skirmish missions set on unique Ground or Space maps (many options)

As there are many variants of RTS games, this is a brief overview:

In my opinion, I would recommend that you should buy this game if your considering to buy it. The game is pretty fun, considering that its graphics and everything are like pretty old but I like it. Also, If your considering to buy it and not sure, well make sure that you want to spend $20 and also to make sure that you like Star Wars or you just wanna play this because it looks fun (Which it is). Some things I suggest though when you buy the game.
Suggestions -
- EAW (Empire At War)
Once bought the game “STAR WARS™ Empire at War - Gold Pack”, you will see either EAW (Empire At War) or FOC (Forces Of Corruption). Since you have bought the game just now, your experience might not be the best. Consider that you load into Empire At War, have some practice or do the campaign if you want, it was pretty good in my opinion. Skirmish Battles or Galactic Conquest in #Single-Player is pretty much your options to practice in EAW (Empire At War)
