Touch Typing Home Row Speed Grinder

Touch Typing Home Row Speed Grinder

https://store.steampowered.com/dlc/1249750/Touch_Typing_Home_Row_Speed_Grinder/

Check out the several pre-created DLC’s available for this game, these skins give it a completely different feel.

I have verification videos above posted before the actual Onboard Lesson previews of the keyboard where I have typed on the well-known sites, Typeracer and 10fastfingers to prove my Typing Speed is legit. (Note: Anyone can type on these sites for free without buying the keyboard, just google them They’re great fun and a nice productive place to test your typing speed!) My Keyboard is compatible with multiple windows programs and not just with the onboard lessons that it comes with.

Are you faster than me? There’s one way to find out, come see & Type with me on the weekends (First to 10 wins).

I invite all to compete with me. — “Visit the Website” on the right side of this page to go to the Discord.

This is part of the onboard lessons that comes with the onscreen keyboard. I believe that everyone has the ability to type 90+ WPM, if they are trained using the correct method of Typing. Most Typing Instructors Neglect “Key Rollovers”, and don’t even mention them to their students.

What is Key Rollovers

Key Rollover is performed when 2 or more keys are pressed down simultaneously just milliseconds apart without lifting the previous key.

In a word like “land” All letters can be pressed down together and even held. If you hold them it will spell, “landddddd” If you held them down in the right order since the last key is repeated.

I transformed my Standard Touch Typing Skills with my onscreen keyboard that I developed using, the “Key Rollover” Method to help me soar above the 60 W.P.M. (Words per Minute) expectations that I was originally told was for successful Typing Students.

My Onscreen Keyboard comes with a wordlist broken down in motions, which encourages Key Rollover Training for around 1,000 Common English Words, 0/9 Numerical Keys, and Syllable Training, which contain Common Syllables that are found in over 5,000 common English words. I have also included the “grind software” which has a list of 100 names, some which are very difficult to type, it’s sure to help your accuracy if you practice using the practice methods contained within this program.

Why do we need to know Syllables in Typing? If you are familiar with the Syllable inside of a Word that is not in your Vocabulary then you can type the Syllables that make up the word instead, this will speed up your typing speed dramatically vs. writing each individual Keystroke as you see them, because it increases the speed at which you can process the word.

Do you want to be within the top 1% of Typists in the world also? Being able to Type at a speed of 108/126 W.P.M. for an entire minute is something only 1% of all Typists can do. In order to do this, you must train the correct way.

You will need to practice reading ahead of what you’re typing as well as following the “key rollover” training mindset everytime you sit down to type.

I will share some techniques, and secrets which will help you to improve your speed drastically.

Do you have a busy schedule? You will also get my Onscreen Keyboard App for Windows Xp, 7, Vista, 8, and 10. That I have developed to help people increase their speed at their own pace.

This Onscreen Keyboard is compatible with nearly every windows program, browsers, that can be run in windowed mode along side of it. You can practice good Touch Typing form while writing your e-mails, web browsing, playing games, or writing stories. It will monitor your Keystroke Speed, and it Displays the WPM result back to you in real-time every 5 seconds so you can keep an eye on your raw “5 Second Speed Burst” as you press them.

The Keyboard App has been created to help make everything easier for you while developing your typing skills and letting you type at your own pace.

Even while you are not typing, you can review which keys are for which fingers because it’s all color-coded.

Who this course is for:

People who want to be more productive, who want to learn how to Touch Type using the correct method using all 9 fingers without having to look at there keyboards.

Developers who wish to type faster, get projects done faster, and be more productive without constantly having to look down at their Keyboards.

Command Prompt, Pentesting, Hacking Enthusiasts who wish to increase their Keyboarding Speed.

People who spend a lot of time on Computers.

Researchers, imagine how many hours you can save while researching, and how much more Data You can Collect if you could type 3x faster than the Average 40 WPM that most Users Type!

That’s all… Join Me You Keyboard Warrior.

Fun little Puzzle game. The presentation and visuals are very nice and some puzzles did catch me off guard. Only criticism is that some levels repeat a bit too long for my liking however that is just a nitpick since one level can have multiple variations that have their own strategy to complete.

This game has potential. It would work well in a school environment. A Multiplayer option would be ideal to keep younger students engaged. A “feature” of the game is there is no losing state, even when out of resources and physically unable to do anything. This fits the current philosophy of teaching, where no student can be wrong or upset.

Area Cooperation Economic Simulation: North Korea (ACES)

Area Cooperation Economic Simulation: North Korea (ACES) simulates the development of North Korea’s Pyongyang economy.

You make investments in infrastructure, security, education, workforce, food, production, or trade to grow the economy, and set tax rates. Bad weather, corruption or international grants will affect your policies. Citizens will be unhappy if your economic policies fail and will increase crime and instability of economy. Each ACES turn is one year and goes on for ten year period. At the end of each year key performance indicators and news reports are shown (After Action Report). At the end of ten years a graph shows ten-tear performance and your performance is evaluated (After Action Report).

Diplomatic relations are improving with North Korea, South Korea and USA. North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un said in his New Year 2019 speech economic development is the highest priority.

ACES is a teaching tool to train officials to assist North Korea development. ACES is based on accepted theories and models of international economic development and regional development. ACES includes problem variables such as urbanization and corruption common in developing nations. Other problem variables unique to North Korea are included: bad weather.

In ACES, theories, models and key performance indicators are explained for students.

Automata Empire

Automata Empire

This is excellent! I got to try a demo of it at PAX South a month ago, and I thought it was a cool concept, but I wasn’t sure how well it would actually work as a strategy game. I can now confirm that it works rather well indeed!

It’s very different from any RTS I’ve played before. Instead of issuing orders to individual units, you’re trying to shape an every-shifting pattern into something resembling an army. And, seemingly inevitably, the whole thing grows out of your control: you can’t be everywhere at once, and if you spend a minute focussing on one side of the map you’re likely to find that your monsters on the other side have mindlessly spread out and populated whole areas.

Real player with 10.8 hrs in game

I really like this game. I was on the steam store and just happened to buy it the day (or maybe day after) it released and I was extremely pleased. The cellular automata idea is really a cool one.

That said, there are a couple things that need mentioning if you’re thinking about buying it.

1. Knowledge of Conway’s Game of Life would benefit you greatly. I’ve noticed a couple people saying they’re confused by the mechanics, but it’s just a modified version of Conway’s Game of Life, turned into an actual game.

DLC information

Yes, there are some DLCs planned. However, all chessmen/chessboard skins will also be complete freely available to be downloaded from our website and can be “side-loaded” using the available feature of loading custom models to Chessality. These won’t be shown to your opponent (if they are using VR) but are fully available to you.

Feature requests

Any cool ideas or integration requests? Tell us! We are very open to ideas!

Will a non-VR version be available?

As of right now, there is no plan. Although there is code implemented for debugging without using a VR headset, one of this project’s goals is to bring emphasis to OTB chess and add a meaningful and replayable VR game to your library. We don’t want to downplay the VR in this game by offering a non-VR option. Furthermore, there are already several very well accomplished 2D options of the game.

Release date information

Originally planned for December 2020, but now the plan is around may-august 2021. We feel very safe about these range dates to release the game as actually, the gameplay is quite very well polished, and most original features for release are ready. However, further advertisement, artwork, and environmental polishment seem in order before release. The actual feature list is much longer than described, and the planned feature list is even much longer. Due to the almost pure focus of the client, server, integration of third-party services, game mechanics, and aesthetics development, almost nothing has been done on artwork and advertisement until now.

Want to help?

We would gladly accept any free help you can offer! Especially artwork and advertisement ;)

Author personal notes

Yes, 2D digital chess is incredible and offers very convenient playability/portability. However, 2D digital chess doesn’t 100% translate your skills to OTB chess, nor OTB is efficient as training on 2D digital chess.

Chessality is probably not a true replacement for over-the-board chess nor a true upgrade from 2D digital chess, but just another way to play the game. I will try to offer as much functionality and realism for true hard-core OTB players and offer the convenience of the digital world to more casual players while trying to keep the core values of chess to the best of my abilities as a human.

“Without the element of enjoyment, it is not worth trying to excel at anything.” – Magnus Carlsen

“Every chess master was once a beginner.” – Irving Chernev

“No one will regret the time dedicated to chess, as it will help in any profession.” – Tigran Petrosyan

“You must lead your opponent into a dark forest where 2+2=5 and the path out is only wide enough for one.” – Mikhail Tal

“If you wish to succeed, you must brave the risk of failure.” – Garry Kasparov

“The winner of the game is the player who makes the next-to-last mistake.” – Tartakower

FISH LAKE

FISH LAKE

My child loved this game. Math has always been an area he struggled in and doing homework is always a pain. This game made math fun. It includes practice with elementary level math such as multiplication, fractions, and number lines. Every problem has a little story behind it and is often introduced with a video. My child really liked the water challenges where he got to catch fish and direct his own boat. The Native American history lessons are also a plus. As a parent, would highly recommend.

Real player with 2.2 hrs in game

This is an educational game. If you know that, you’ll probably really like it because it is a fun way to learn fractions in real problems and Native American history, while running around a virtual world jumping over snakes, spearing fish and canoeing through rapids. If you DIDN’T know it was an educational game, you might be annoyed, “Hey, what is this video about the Ojibwe doing here?” You’ll actually see how the Ojibwe lived by moving around in the woods, fishing, etc. in the game. If you haven’t used fractions since middle school, this is a good brush up. If you are in middle school now, hey, you’re in luck. I wish they had this when I was in school.

Fritz & Chesster - Learn to Play Chess Vol. 1

Fritz & Chesster - Learn to Play Chess Vol. 1

Learn to think strategically, try out tricky mental exercises and master fun and exciting challenges – all with a generous helping of chess knowledge. These things and more await you on this unusual chess adventure that has already received great international acclaim.

Start playing Fritz & Chesster Volume 1 and join Prince Fritz and his cousin Bianca on their journey through the rules of chess and many tactical motifs.

Once upon a time there was a small country, a very, very small country. And this very small country was ruled by a very wise king. In fact he was the wisest King there had ever been. And he was called “King White”

This is the beginning of a very interesting new product by ChessBase: Fritz & Chesster. It is possibly also the most important piece of software created by the company, for a very simple reason.

Like none of the other products, Fritz, Junior, Shredder, or even ChessBase itself, Fritz and Chesster is one that can recruit new players to the game.

We predict that tens of thousands of children will take up chess because they had access to this program.

Fritz and Chesster does not teach chess in the usual way. It does not set up a board and explain how each of the pieces move. Instead it targets children who have never played chess before in their lives and teaches them the basic rules in a Sesame Street like environment. There are cartoons and stories for the children to follow, and then there are tasks for them to solve interactively.

_Oh ye, Oh ye, Oh ye!

Listen all young heroes well

Whom the chess game doth compel:

Aspiring masters of the game

Come and enter here your name

Then I beg click on the seal

The world of chess awaits your zeal_

Each piece and each rule is explained in a subgame, which you can play against the computer. Many of them are far away from the actual game of chess, but at the same time they give the children full insight into the sometimes daunting rules of the game.

Take for instance the first sequence. Young Prince Fritz has to stand in for a while for his father, King White. Together with his cousin Bianca Fritz embarks on a journey through their kingdom.

On their journey they are joined by Kalaidoscope, a jolly instructor, who tells them all about the kingdom. In each scene the children can click different elements, like the mouse traps in the above picture, funny things happen. It encourages the young users to explore the scenery.

On their trip around the kingdom the three encounter the daunting King Black, who challenges them to a game of chess. But Fritz doesn’t know how to play. Thankfully he is able to learn the game on the rest of his trip.

The first lesson comes when they see two sumo wrestlers fighting in a ring. The wrestlers are too fat to approach each other directly, so they always stay at least one square apart. They move around the board blocking each other off.

If they do it properly Fritz and Bianca can push their opponent off the board. After that they try to occupy chairs before their opponent, and while trying to do so the program explains how they can use “opposition” to outwit the opponent. At the end of this lesson the children have learnt everything they need to know about the king move, including the concept of opposition.

Learning the rook moves is equally entertaining. In a pacman-like game the children learn to move the rook and avoid capture by the enemy spiders. There are sound effects and high-score lists to keep their attention.

The bishop move is learnt by bouncing a ball off a rectangular paddle to destroy toilet bowls (the kind of thing young children find hilarious). Since the ball moves diagonally they are learning to operate the bishop. Mind you, these games might also create some problems. Very often the parents start to play them and compete against their offspring. There can be ugly scenes when it turns out, as it usually does, that the children are better.

The stand-alone chess teacher

The principle of Fritz & Chesster is that you can insert the CD into a computer drive, fire up the program and then leave a child alone with it if necessary. After a few weeks the child will come to you and say: “Can we play a game of chess?” It will have learnt all the rule – we are talking pawn moves, castling rules, promotion, mate, stalemate, everything – and even understand a bit about strategy and tactics.

Naturally you do not need to or indeed should leave your child alone with the program. In fact we have discovered that it is often usually children and their mothers who pick up the game. The fathers usually get hooked on the subgames, battling to keep ahead of the kids.
