World of Art - learn with Jigsaw Puzzles

WoA is the best jigsaw puzzle game imo. I call it ゴジラ (Godzilla) in this category. 1. Lots of various painting style puzzles, 2. User friendly like easy to zoom in and out or turn timer on for competition and off for relaxation, 3. Zoom in to learn how to draw, 4. Good in-game relaxing classical music or listen to your own music, songs or hymns through external media players, 5. New puzzles will be added for free. Highly recommended!!!

World of Art has scratched an itch for me, namely art-themed jigsaw puzzles. I like to play puzzle games on my android tablet while watching baseball or the news. All well and good but with way too many cute puppies & kittens, food arrangements, etc.

This app is paintings and nothing but. Not all masterpieces but there’s plenty to choose from. Although for some reason, the selection is quite heavily skewed towards 19th Century works and in comparison the Renaissance era gets short shrift. And while the image resolution holds up at max zoom, the color palettes show less than satisfactorily on some of the pictures.

Breaking Good

Breaking Good

Breaking good is not a bad game, but it’s just not good, either.

It’s a relatively straightforward match 3 game with some interesting mechanics in that you view the play area as a three dimension cylinder from 4 different angles. For core mechanics, you drag left-right to move an entire row of pieces, or swap one up or one down. You match different combinations of 3+ pairs of singular elements to create more complex compounds. There are quite a few achievements, but getting many of them is purely a grind.

A pleasant game. It’s a match 3 with an unusual style twist. My only complaint would be the periodic table itself. It should say only the coloured elements are in play so people don’t think they have to unlock the rest, which is what the current table implies. It is probably unnecessary as well. You can find the element your looking for simply by checking the match tiles.

It’s an achievement hunters dream as well. Worth the price.

Pros: A nice re-playable logic puzzle game.

Can change the colors of the theme.

Cons: It does not have any sound effects or music.

Has an achievement bug.

I’ve been getting into Sudoku’s and crosswords a lot recently, and this game also scratches that itch. It’s great to pick up and play when you have a few minutes (or quite a few for expert mode!) to tingle the brain. Normal mode is a little easy, so it’s a good way to get a bit of practise in before going to expert mode, which can take a decent amount of time to solve, if you can!

I’ve shown it to a few of my friends in my discord and they’ve all loved it, so I’d definitely recommend it to other people too!

I love 3D data visualization. It really works when the interface is intuitive and you can focus on your data. It’s also amazing to feel the benefit of externalizing your thoughts in a 3D space - the model that you have in your head gets visualized, so that your mind’s eye is in a feedback loop with your real eyes. From imagination to creation, your idea can take form.

Noda makes this process seamless and easy. The visual design of the world and interface is elemental and intuitive, and the resulting creations are beautiful. I used Noda to organize my music library into different genres, something that I’ve always wanted to do. It’s great when you feel at ease and meditative when creating, and Noda is the ideal VR experience for this.

Hi devs !

I bought Noda and immediately spent a whole night on it, working on my story.

It felt amazing, so thanks for that !

Here are my observations and suggestions :

  • My first working environment choice was “Sky only”, but i had to renounce it when i noticed the teleport couldn’t be used there. Could you add an invisible floor to make moving possible there, and in the empty environment ?

  • I made mistakes sometimes, deleted elements, moved this or that and then changed my mind…. I had to redo a lot of things. I don’t know what kind of coding it would implie, but i would definitely have gained some efficacy, had i had a “Ctrl Z” of some sort.

i am ashamed about how long i’ve played this. This game would not be so bad, if the puzzle pieces actually fit together.

But for real, the puzzle pieces did not even fit together.

cute dogs tho.

Swiss Alps Jigsaw Puzzles

Swiss Alps Jigsaw Puzzles

This is a nice jigsaw puzzle game that only costs a couple dollars. There are 80 pictures to choose from, but only a few of the pictures are really attractive. You can also choose how many pieces you want to be in the puzzle. Glass Masquerade is the only other jigsaw puzzle game I have seen that I like a lot more than this.

Turn on all the lights

Turn on all the lights

Passionate game for a boring hour or two. Don’t let the first levels' difficulty fool you, it gets really tricky at the end. I believe it has potential for more levels. Overall it is a nice puzzle game: clean visuals, clear mechanics and provoking puzzles. Ps: Foget rules of real world electricity, colored current is fun!

Game is a neat little puzzle game. Unlike the first game that seemed to drop some concepts, this game introduces most of its concepts early on and then develops on them as the game goes on. The last puzzle stomped me for a little bit but by that point it’s like puzzle inception (or puzzleception if you’re nasty), a puzzle inside a puzzle inside a puzzle and so on. Overall I just wished there were more puzzles but I still enjoyed it and thought it was pretty good and well worth the money. Definitely give this one a go.
