The complexity and intricacy of this game allows you to choose between multi-characters and a diverse group of cards to play. Every session leaves you wondering where the time went. You can sink so much time with friends and family playing this game learning about food, and each other. Love the focus the devs put in to making the scenery so beautiful so we can enjoy the 4k experience.

S.U.M. - Slay Uncool Monsters
“Yo, wassup. Just came out of a session of S.U.M. and it was toootally tubular. Think ya know math? Think again bro. Yo momma don’t even know how to multiply with 3 variables. Me? 4 variables, 4 operators, no sweat, sweet cash in return. See ya past the last dungeon, loser”
I can just imagine this unironically being a future banner for the game (unless it already is).
Jokes aside, there is definitely an engagement aspect under its pixelated aesthetics and the playability that made me come back again and again just to do what essentially are basic math operations. There’s more to the gameplay though with the whole grid aspect. Despite much of it being behind paid DLC, there’s still plenty to do in the meantime until it starts feeling repetitive.

Antarctic Heritage Trust
This was very pleasant. I thought the narrator would talk too much and you wouldn’t be able to explore, but it’s not too bad. I can’t quite tell if this is all photogrammateric or is just textures sourced from flat photographs (whatever that technique is called). I reckon it’s a combination of both.
! There is one dark room (under the map) for each of the videos that play. https://youtu.be/-O5J_z8JEFk

Antarctic Heritage Trust is a free VR experience. It worked on my system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has fixed point teleport movement. Has narration in English and some movies. A scripted guided tour through the Sir Edmund Hillary’s Antarctic hut. Does not have a lot of interactive objects.
Try it, if you like History and travel.

Frog Fractions: Game of the Decade Edition
Many of my friends may describe me as scholarly, educated, a menace to society. In all my years of education not one person, teacher, computer program, textbook, or any other form of education has compared to Frog Fractions. While I once thought I was talented in the act of mathematics, Frog Fractions proved me wrong. In a simple 4th of an hour, I have gained more knowledge than ye average scholar over a lifetime. Luckily this piece of knowledge is free to all, although it is clearly best with the ten dollar expansion, a hat for said frog. It is beyond the simple humans comprehension to describe the experience and knowledge in a four hundred page scholarly article. Please spend as much time as possible in this application, not only is it educational but a gift to humanity as a whole.

Before discovering this game, I was arrogant. What could some silly frog teach me about fractions? Of what use could this game be if my typing skills are already godlike?
How wrong I was.
Thanks to Frog Fractions, I have found a whole new level of understanding. It has unlocked the latent power of my amphibian brain. Name any fraction, and I can calculate it in my head. When I type, I type so fast my old keyboard couldn’t keep up so I had to have one custom-made. This review took me two seconds to type thanks to the skills this game has taught me.

C-TAS: A Virtual Chinese Learning Game
Rated positively because it was made by a ‘random high school student’ who had 100 dollars to give to uncle gabe, and that’s really what we’re all here for, to give money to gabe. It only has two little pop quizzes, but for a second there, I thought I was going to learn Mandarin and defect.

Description
Madu Maths is a yet another nerdy free-to-play game that I will review within two days’ time. The user has to collect the honey by either adding or subtracting the two numbers or do both in the hard mode. The bigger your correct answer to the question posed is, the faster you fill the hive, and faster you complete the stage.

Speedrunning a math marathon sure is BUZZING….you’re no fun…
Madu Maths is a simple math (addition/subtraction) marathon about a queen bee who is trying to have her drones bring honey back to the hive, but you have to choose carefully as one of the problems presented will yield more honey than the other problems…of course it won’t matter if you get the question wrong (which will yield 0 honey).
The graphics are acceptable and the presentation of this game is pretty decent. There are no bugs (ha ha…with bees…) in Madu Maths and everything seems to operate as intended…though there is an exploit where you can alt-tab out of the game to auto-pause it while you use a calculator to get the right answers. Using a windowed mode will yield the best results there.

Self Reliance 自我性赖
Ok, this game definitely has potential, but it definitely missed the mark as you continue playing the game. Chapter 2 (the STDs chapter) seemed a bit…homophobic (not exactly, but it definitely did feel as if they were trying to pin AIDs on only homosexual sex HOWEVER with a couple options, it did a better job explaining their actual intentions). Either way, I wasn’t a fan of Chapter 2 for multiple reasons. It seemed that I got stuck in a loop after choosing to have sex without a condom and when you start to feel sick (it just made me keep replaying the chapter). Also, after choosing to consent and use the condom, you still are raped, so both options lead you to the same option (this obviously isn’t intentional, as I saw the consentual scene during one of the loops the game had me in). After that, the game isn’t exactly playable (to both chinese and non-chinese speakers). Chapter 3 has no translations, Chapter 4 doesn’t even have the choice options in any language (you only see "" for every choice), Chapter 5 has no english translations AND has some options that are only marked with “”. Overall, there are parts in the game with no English translations (such as the summaries).

This game is very bugged in the English version. 4 achievements won’t unlock and the text (on choices) doesn’t appear.

Virtual Exhibition
I like the intention behind this, allowing artists to make a virtual exhibit to display their art to the world. And while this could easily be a cashgrab, its a nifty little free to play game. Really cool.I would like a graphics option to disable specifically the motion blur. I don’t like it very much as a personal preference so that would be awesome. Also I want to pick up the red egg, that would be dope.Cheers.EDIT: Not only can you pick up the egg , but there is much to uncover. CHECK THIS OUT!!

Excellent concept, well executed.
I enjoyed wandering around, taking my time to study each image on display. Felt as though I were in an actual gallery, but without worrying that I was looking too long or standing in someone’s way (plus, no social distancing!). Both a relaxing and inspiring experience.
Looking forward to hopefully seeing more works on show in a future update. I’m excited to see where this development goes.

Virus Popper
Virus Popper is a simple educational game that encourages good hygiene. The game actually ramps up in difficulty fairly fast, so people looking for a free challenge will have something as well – and leaderboards were just added.
Came for the Starcade commentary, stayed for the enjoyable Steam achievements.

BeanVR—The Social VR APP
Attempted to installed some weird dot net crap on my computer then crash upon startup. Moving on. I have a video of my trying it years back and it seemed like the servers were down, but I swear I got inside once. I’m trying to think of what other VR social app it looks the most like, but it’s really got more of a unity asset flip aesethic than anything an existing vr social network. I guess it looks kinda like Rec Room.
! Maybe the GO version works. Worth a shot. It’s a worthy downvote for a Steamapp, but maybe I’ll give it a bone and drop three stars on the other two stores. https://youtu.be/svjLXyVO65E

At least for now, it feels like a cheap chinese knokoff of rec room. I’m looking forward to see where it’s going to go, but for now, it’s not compelling enough to use it. And this is a problem since for this to work, you need people to stay in there, and want to go back.
