This game is as advertised. My son always wants to join in during the few times I get time to game. Being able to help him develop some computer skills and have fun at the same time is worth it.

This game sucks. Do not buy it. My 3 year old knows his geography. I bought it for the geography puzzle, but the game will not allow him to play any of them until he beats the baby games, which bore him. So, i fully wasted $12.99. my 3 yr old is not distracted at all. The baby is screaming and i fucking HATE this computer game passionately.

I was conflicted on this one, whether to give a positive review or not.

First the positive notes: this is a nice educational program that helps to fill the gaps in the basics of flora and fauna.

I learned a lot of things I didn’t know, so I’m satisfied with that part of the “game”.

The graphics is fine and also the sounds, which really put you in the atmosphere of the forest, field, pond and garden.

So what is the problem? The problem is that this is not a game, lol.

This is an educational application, mostly for kids. It doesn’t offer anything else but reading.

I’ve got the game for my kid and he enjoyed it a lot. We first bought it on App Store but then I bought it here on Steam specifically to leave a review, so that games like this get better traction. If you’re a happy owner like me, I do encourage you to also support the developer in this way.

What I love about this game? It’s like a small encyclopaedia, making discovery of new facts easy and fun. I’m so, so tired of commercial mainstream “games for kids” that mostly exploit the love of children to the brands and characters already established in film/TV. Here, the game is like an open book inviting your kids to play with it in a variety of ways, always learning in the process.

From what I saw in the intro video, I thought that it is a pretty simple but straight forward low-poly game; it does exactly what it promises. Then I was really surprised as I saw this was done by one person only! (Pls upvote if you also recognized that).

To the game; seeing that there are already base dialogs, base locations, and aims to provide a real-world experience I can see there is a huge potential for its future. Yes, the dialogs and words are a bit off, but I’m personally ok with that since this is an early access version, and also the game author mentioned it.

This game is really cool for sure, the Czech translations are off sometimes, like the windows in the house are supposed to be “okno” but instead they’re “dobře ne” which kinda means like “not good” I don’t know why, maybe the translation is just missing. many of the interactions to help people don’t work, and some of the conversations are a bit weird, maybe one of the more common languages are better like German or Spanish, but I haven’t started learning German yet, and I won’t be starting for a little while. overall I like it a lot, I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to learn languages, but I would recommend knowing a bit about the language first. I do look forward to seeing the future updates for this game, it really does have potential.

Tyto Online

Tyto Online

For anyone with even a remote love for science, this is the game for you! It has a nice pleasant atmosphere with a community and developers to match. Playing Tyto Ecology, this is no surprise. The devs take every problem seriously, and would do anything to ensure a happy experience from their fanbase.

While the game is extremely buggy, and many of the quests are repetitive, that is to be expected for an early access game. Tyto Online has a bright future, especially in the learning department.

To the devs, congratulations! I cannot wait to watch this game prosper.

I love hearing the stories when you talk to the npc’s and the environment is beautiful and different - fun to explore! Support is excellent! It was hard to log off the game - still so much to see and do!

ABC Coloring Town

ABC Coloring Town

What is ABC Coloring Town?

Although EnsenaSoft’s ABC Coloring Town is a fun little educational tool for young gamers to have the alphabet reinforced to them.

As the game winds its way through its little town you will stop at 26 different houses. Each house represents a single letter in the alphabet. The player clicks on the door and it opens up to represent a picture beginning with the representative letter. Consequently, you’ll expect to see that E is for elephant, C is for cat and Z is for zebra. You have a choice of sixteen different colors that you can choose from to color and each picture has a number of different panels for you to color. Once you complete the alphabet it cycles through with different words until you’ve completed the alphabet three times.

My kid relatively liked this crap, but I’m gonna override his opinion because as a parent it’s a very tedious game to go through…

You don’t get to choose what picture you want to play with. Just skip to the next letter… Can’t go back to any earlier one… Can’t save the resulting picture (except by taking a screenshot with another program), can’t “undo” the last step (you can only undo everything!), the color palette is limited (some colors will never be used by a child, others would require more variations), and when there’s a ground and the sky, you can’t color them both with a palette fill, because the separation line between ground and sky usually doesn’t extend from the far left to the far right. You’d think, that’s okay I’ll just ‘draw’ a black line to complete the gap, but… Nope, the fill tool only takes existing black lines into account, ignoring your ‘fixes’.

This is a nice little game for a small child. My 3 y/o loves it. It was nice to find a game that he could enjoy and challenge his mind a little bit. There is no real story that I can see, but I have only given it a quick eye test and watch him play it a bit. All in all, not a bad game to pick up so a little boy/girl can game like mommy or daddy.

Perfect game for your 2-4 Year old child. Perfect. My son loved it so much. Very large variety of mini-games, and even a decent, voice-less movie that is extremely entertaining even for adults, although it’s a bit trippy/psychedelic, so it’s even more ‘cool’. great music as well. 8/10, worth 5 bucks imo

I got this for my 5 year old, but my 10 yr ols also enjoys playing it. alot of the little games I dont think they kow they are learning. the games are fun and sometimes challenging but in a good way. there are alot of little hidden things to interact with in each room that they are still discovering new things. as a homeschooling mom I can suggest this to other parent who are looking for a more educational but still fun game for your kid to play they will get hooked on getting more stars.

I have read some people complain about the voice overs not matching the characters mouth movements and I can agree but I will add that my kids have either not noticed or dont care so I dont feel this is a bad thing but I wanted to add it.

Bought this game for my 6 year old brother. He absolutely loved it, Very fun and stimulating for children at that age with small in game rewards for completing assignments/objectives to keep them motivated.

I have pretty low end-medium laptop as its not even a gaming laptop and it runs the game with no problem.

I got it on sale for $4-5, But after having played it myself and with my brother i would recommend buying it even at full retail which was $7.

Humongous Entertainment if you are reading this I wish you would come out with more of these games for higher grade levels. at least until 5th grade.
