Business Simulator
Overview
The last time ol' Il Pallino had to review a low budget tycoon game, things got as ugly as the game this author reviewed! (You can call me a disgrace, but you’ll never call me a liar for writing a negative review.) Thankfully, Wenay Studio came up with an enjoyable game in Business Simulator. The game is characterized as a poor man’s This Grand Life with the main differences being that Business Simulator is a real time strategy, has an XP system, and no depth outside of occupations.

First, I am giving a recommendation as the game has promise in the near future. What changed for me was the developer actually implemented a patch once feedback was given. That is very important and i respect that.
Second- Yes this game has bugs and quirks that might make it unplayable at certain points as of today. I am sure with the bug feedback I am giving, it will be fixed soon.
Its actually not a bad game at all, just a rough start. If you like sims, and business sims, its worth the $5.

Scrapping Simulator
This game is in early access so, you unlock all the available features quickly. As you may have guessed, this game is about disassembling eWaste for scrap materials. You can then sell the scrap directly or spend the time to melt them down to ingots for a bigger profit. Eventually, the world will be much more open and new features are coming.
I’ve logged a lot of extra hours figuring out many of the ins and outs of different processes. I enjoy the “grindy” aspects of this game and look forward to how they’ll adapt to user input.

game is really fun and easy to get into having a good time playing this game easy and chilled to play. loving all the new stuff and animations but game has some little bugs here and there but can see they are trying to fix them. but loving the game cant wait to see what else they do to the game.

TL;DR
9/10: The greatest board game ever? Will gladly go many laps around the board trying not to lose money and waste time before I make money and perfectly manage time… Even if many of the achievements appear to be bugged and the English grammar and syntax give the game an unprofessional feel. Thank you for the important life lessons in time management.
Overview
Hooray for this being ol' Il Pallino’s 100’th. review! Take the best features of money-making board games and remove the attrition-based nature of Monopoly, and add-in some great concepts that couldn’t be worked out in a physical board game, and you have Timeflow. The objective is to work towards one of many types of ambitions while using a pre-made character with all sorts of strengths and weaknesses. (Or custom-made character if one chooses.) One to four players may play, and the player who achieves their ambition first is the winner. Time is everything! without enough time on their hands, players cannot start new businesses or get some education, and if a player doesn’t have enough time at the end of the month, the player has to pay a financial penalty proportionate to the income that they earn.

It’s like the adult version of the Game of Life. Played for hours on normal version yesterday. I have to say while it’s in it’s early stages, it’s a pretty well thought out game. I do think there could be more random instances, but it kept my attention for hours. I am still working on buying that dream home.
Now I am less inclined to enjoy the stocks, it seemed for a long time they never got high enough and then when I was finally interested in really buying and selling most of them were way too out of reach and never came back down. Perhaps it’s realistic. It would be real interesting if you could make character changes as lifes ups and downs come at them. I am surprised there isn’t a Win the Lotto or play the lottery option.

Money Makes Money
This is a great game for demonstrating a lifetime of finance and money skills; and how time works to compound returns. Over the last three years I have owned it, I have come back to it regularly every six months for a few more scenarios, and games, to test, and to remind myself of what I had learned before. Yes, I have only 55 hours logged so far, but a game can be run in about an hour and a half, maybe faster. For the time involved this is a Class A coach; so much so that I have bought more than ten of my steam friends copies of the game since I first became aware of what it offers. Im a full time stock trader myself, 50+ years of age, with a paid for house and a history in business, but my friends list ranges from 16 years old to 60. Literally anyone can get something out of this one :D

Don’t take it as a perfect simulator: it’s far from it.
I don’t like that the only way for you to control your expenses is to spend years and years studying how to save.
I didn’t pay 4000$ for an auto insurance as soon as I turned 18, for example. I’d like to choose wether I want to get married, to have children, or to divorce. Oh my, the divorce event is the worst in the whole game.
Why do I have to upgrade a category to its end to see what’s best to invest in? That’s all lost time.

RoboLingo
This is a great language learning game for all ages. The music and graphics are very upbeat and motivating. I would definitely recommend RoboLingo to anyone looking to learn a new language. There’s a good selection of languages to choose from so you will have plenty of vocabulary to work through.

Gazillionaire
Who knows how many thousand hours I put into this game when I first got it back in 1995?
This game was “indie” before I ever knew what that even meant - it’s a labor of love from 2 programmers (who founded LavaMinds) & every aspect shows this.
Gazillionaire is a space trading game where you start up a shipping company and do your best to out-trade your alien competition, while having to deal with many unforeseen challenges like storms, pirates, crew accidents, moral decisions, & tax increases.

This game invokes memories of my Dad’s old Pentium, a Windows 98 loading screen, and me lamenting that I really should have picked up that haul of Jelly Beans one planet ago.
The game is a very basic trading simulator, perfect for kids to understand “buy low, sell high” and “no plan survives contact with reality”. For Adults it’s very pop in and play, simple, and I’m curious as to why this wasn’t a mobile game after all this time.
Graphics are basic, the music repeats, the sound effects are simple, but the gameplay won’t horribly break your computer. I got it on discount I’ll admit. I once paid full price for a CD of it back in the 90s.

Profitania
Finally this absolute classic from my youth is available on steam and I thought I couldn’t be happier. However, there seem to be significant bugs. Espionage never seems to be available, all illegal activities seem to be bugged to always fail, and a lot of tool tips have removed most nuance from the game. It’s almost as if this kid’s game has been made even more for kids. I’m glad I could get back to this game, but I wish the adaptation was focused less away from making it a neutered experience.
