Cities: Skylines
Great game with loads of content and mods to keep the game fun. New DLC’s are a big reason why I’m still playing this game after so many years. I wouldn’t recommend buying them for the full price though, they are quite expensive. Just wait for a sale where most of them are 50% off.

If you’re into building stuff from scratch, loved Sim City, and cannot help yourself trying to do something better and more beautiful, buy the game. There’s nothing better. Be prepared to give a healthy chunk of your life, you budding City Planner!
Intuitive design, layered sophistication in game play, and plenty of mods and tools keeps you engaged for hundreds of hours.
I’m a relative amateur with a mere 339 hours of playtime. Just saying.
Enjoy!

Review Date: Nov 20, 2021
I wrote a giant review, and then after reading through it, realized my opinion was more like no than yes, and when I changed it, Steam erased everything I had written. So, rather than do it again, I’ll just drop some bullet points. I’ve been playing since early in Early Access, so that will color my review.
New overworld trade system is terrible. It’s boring. It’s grindy. and it doesn’t work. I’m at max rep with a faction, and have yet to see the “subversion” mission mentioned in the tutorial.

A decent time killer as-is, but released far too soon for the ambition they sought to achieve.
-
Settlement milestones are sparse and largely uninteresting, with few “make your own goals” opportunities to fill in the blanks. You will pretty much always build the same structures in the same order, and most structures are not actually all that useful.
-
Overworld is shallow and brainless, with pawns moving around for the sake of moving. Factions have no personality or storyline aspects, and the “war” has nothing to make it compelling or interactive. This is actually a bit of a downgrade from the initial concept at the start of Early Access, where there was at least a good vs. evil kind of thing going on.

Orbi Universo
It’s Democracy meets Civilization.
Still a work-in-progress, and from a part-time indie dev, but what you see here shows promise.
If you’re a Civ/Paradox/Democracy fan, it’s an easy recommendation.
If you’re not too sure about it, grab it on sale, or wait until they finish all the ages that make the core gameplay.
Pros:
-
Less intimidating upfront than Democracy, you start from humble begginings.
-
You can start at any place in the globe
-
Many different paths to take your civilization through

This game is unique. Maybe not much replayability, but there definitely is some. In the bronze age I had a shining civilization, the entire Iron Age was a time of unparalleled ascension, but I quickly over expanded and then the disruption caused by the immense amount of minorities quickly destroyed my stability. I kept undermining the power of the clergy in order to stop them from toppling my republic, which caused the number of heathens and heretics to rise to such a point as to ruin my stability even further. There was this entire collapse scenario very reminiscent of the fall of the Roman Republic, culminating in a coup d’etat by the military which led to a quickly fragmenting military dictatorship that saw a snowball of decline that just kept rolling and rolling.

Farming Simulator 15
Okay, so obviously I’ve played this game a ridiculous amount of time. I can be a little obsessive about getting a game going JUST RIGHT so that I can build my empire. That having been said, I still have not explored all of the facets of the game as of yet. Now I have not played the previous versions of this game, so I didn’t really know what to expect with it, and I have to say that my girlfriend made fun of me for days after purchasing and playing this game.
Here is what makes it so awesome:

Not a bad game at all, very realistic in most aspects, but very very buggy at times.
The wood chipper is a prime example. It is so buggy and underpowered, it makes one think that these guys have never seen one in action. Once they grab a log, there is no going back, it is shredded. Short of turning off the equipment, there is no way to get the log out of it. In this offering, your main task is to get the log to go INTO it. Even when it does, there is a very high chance it will be just spit out again. Actually all trees can get very buggy at times. Ghost logs, screwed up cuts, ( they are still attached to the main log even though cut off), trees that decide to disobey the laws of physics. ( standing verticle instead of falling over)
