Let me start this off by saying I love this game and I will continue to monitor the progress, and I will change my review along the way. I am a long fan of MGT series and I decided to support the developer by buying EA game which I usually NEVER do.

However… There are really really BIG issues for me. Before I do get into it I have to say one more thing, english isn’t my native language and I apologize in advance because I will have to write longer to make a point that I could have probably made in one sentence.

TLDR

Pros: Good flow / pacing - Very minimal game breaking bugs - Nice relaxing game

Oks: Some amazing core concepts, but could be taken further - Art / Assets work well, but could use further refining - Each room has it’s own purpose, but some less ‘needed’ than others - Actual construction is well thought out, but the grid can feel too large in places and no ‘clone room’ feature - Random events happen, some of which are utterly pointless depending on the year / progress of the studio

Let me start this off by saying I 100% would recommend to people to play this game. I got into it because I loved the game Fast Food Tycoon and used to play those back in the day. I was trying to fiind something similar and I stumbled upon this gem.

I mainly love playing these tycoon games in the free mode or where you can vs AI/others to give yourself competition and more mental challenges. But I have also gone through the majority of the story. I will say that their two recent updates have added a lot of fun to the free game and if they keep adding to it it will only become better.

The first time I ever preordered a game. Maybe the last, as the game shows promise, but is very buggy and unfinished. I played some mobile restaurant games, but they of course are very simple and the “pay or wait until bored to death” mechanics is annoying. So I had high hopes for a more realistic restaurant management game. In this game there are elements to that direction, but it still falls short.

Some observations:

  • Graphics: The background graphcs is very pretty, the buidings and traffic and day/night cycle is fine. Unfortunately the people are crude caricatures of a very few types. It gives a creepy feeling seeing 3 or 4 identical clones at your restaurant. Also the people walk through doors, walls by the door, chairs and each other. The yellow flashing paths from warehouses and advertising media are annoying, and should be possible to turn off and on. After the patch the pizzas ooze a greenish vapor. I first thought that was a sign of some infestation. Not savory.

I’ll update this review if necessary (I haven’t beaten the game yet, but as it is now, I absolutely cannot recommend this game).

Where to start? Bugs. There are a TON of bugs. Here’s a few that I found that are absolutely annoying (there’s more, but I’ll only list a few):

items that slow down the day stop working if you close and reopen the game

had a customer ask for chicken donner on pita bread but was disappointed (so some meal issues), read that she paid me $7 instead of $6, so she apparently wanted a chicken donner wrap instead.

“I want chicken kebab with pita bread”

ok here you go.

“DISGUSTANG!”

I am never going to financially recover from this.

3 Oct 2021:

Strategical gameplay to max out the profit and effects HAHAH

Recommended to buy if this game is:

1. On sales (IMO I just buy game during sales mostly)

2. If you like to play games with minimal guidelines

As this is early access game, I wouldn’t say it’s too bad to play the game

It mentioned that they will skip the tutorial part (so you will read the text-based guidelines)

If you read it clear, the more you experiment, the easier you will get high score with

Had some fun playing this!

I absolutely love Tycoon games. Given that, and the fact that I have never seen a Tycoon games that focus on Ads, I had to try this one.

It’s an Early Access game, so we gotta take that into consideration too, so yes, it has some bugs, it can use some improvements and maybe new mechanics, but with that said, it’s not a bad game at all.

Firstly, the art style is great! It really does give an oldschool vibe, which was the proposal. Great!

Also, as I mentioned before, I’ve never seen an Ad Tycoon, so this is another step on the right direction, innovative.

Crypto Is Dead

Crypto Is Dead

it’s a very zen game, with random bills and rules being a plus in my book. if there were any complaints, it would be about the pens and the scale, they don’t seem to serve any purpose.

I want to like this game, I really do. For the size of the game and the 2 hours I put in upon writing this I feel I have enough time spent to see the problems, so let me list them as Pro’s and Con’s.

Pro’s:

  • I get a huge Papers Please vibe from this and that can be a good thing to some, as some people like work simulations and feel they can have fun doing such thing without real life problems.

  • The challenge aspect is nice, you start off generally putting out lot’s of notes and overtime it gets more busier and you see yourself putting less out there, I suck at numbers and letters so I’m really slow but I don’t find myself bankrupted.

Dealer’s Life 2

Dealer’s Life 2

Very interesting game , it feels like it have a lot of potencial like dealers life 1 to improve. Game is a quite harder than first dealers life at start , i feel like there is a slight way to many less good items what you can buy from neutral auction because it simse that computer know almost all the time exact price of each item what he can bid. Also from the start of the game the guy who keep making your life hard by making excuses so you have to pay him ( even if you buy bouncer from start he have to be lvl 2 so he can throw him out of your shop ) is rly anoying and slow you down . This game have a lot of potencial and i hope that it will be worked on , Personaly i dont mind that game is a bit harder from start it just depend of your bargain skills but after you pass certain lvl and make some money the game starts to shine. Keep it up

I usually feel like the haggling mechanics in video games are simple or sloppy, but the devs have clearly put a LOT of time into making haggling feel real and natural, not just “random” or predictable/formulaic. Here are a couple examples of situations that are common:

  • Someone comes with something appraised at 50k. They would accept a 40k offer if I offered it first (reloaded the game to confirm), but if I initially offer 30k, they get “mad”, and later won’t accept 40k.

  • Someone comes in with something appraised at 50k. I offer 40k. They counter 47k. I offer 43k. They counter 46k, I offer 45k, they accept
