Reentry - An Orbital Simulator
Usually If I do a review it’s mostly something short and not really relevant. This one deserves a bit more attention.
If you are into space then this is a title you must add to your collection. At the time of writing this the sim offers 3 programs the USA undertook in the 50’s 60’s and 70’s namely the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs. The developer is a one man team who so far has done an amazing job bringing these programs to live with a very high level of detail and accuracy, basically every switch there was on these spacecrafts, is or will be in the sim and will have a function and affect your systems. The simulator has a learning curve especially when diving into the Apollo, LM lessons/academy.

This is a full fidelity cockpit simulator of the American spacecraft that were used during the Space Race. To keep this review from being unnecessarily long, I am going to break down the features of this game into a list.
Features in this game (what you can do).
-
Fly the Saturn V and all it’s modules, Mercury Redstone, Mercury Atlas, Gemini Titan, and drive the Moon Buggy.
-
Create custom missions for different objectives and scenarios.
-
Play as Mission Control for Project Mercury and Project Apollo. Please note that Mission Control in this game is not limited to just one person, and you could have a full room assisting and guiding a single astronaut. (Cockpit coop is not a feature yet, and the developer is using Mission Control to test the logic and systems).

SpaceEngine
This game/simulator is incredible and has me hooked. Breathtaking and it really gives me an idea of the scale of our universe. Worth x4 the price in my opinion but must be experienced in VR with a fast computer (mighty GPU) and it is very important to read the manual at the very least and learn the graphics settings and the other facets of this wonderful piece of software before you dive in to get the best experience…

This is a space wallpaper maker! You can take very stunning HD screenshots while exploring an entire universe. I love taking the time to get the perfect shot, adjusting gamma, brightness, the amount of stars you can see, type of lens flare, nebulous, gas giants, black holes! the list goes on and the possibilities are endless, if you are a space nerd get this game…game? it’s kinda a game, you can fly around in a ship too if you wanted and pretend your a space pirate or something.

EVERSPACE™ 2
This is of course a review of the Early Access version, so some of the cons I find with the game, might disappear with the final version.
*If you like Space Simulators, this is a game for you.
THE GOOD
• Lots of fun, although, (and this is probably related to it being early access) things get repetitive very fast.
• Controls are fine, you get the hang of everything rather quickly.
• For those of us who enjoyed games like Tie Fighter, Descent and FREESPACE, this is our type of game.

It has been 18 years since Microsoft released the game Freelancer. In that time, no other game/developer has succeeded in capturing what made that game great, and brought us a game like it. You can find many space games that have failed to bring us that genre properly. Many times people saying things like “Closest thing to Freelancer, best since Freelancer.” However, it’s always known that they aren’t actually that close, or nearly as good. This game however, is hitting ALL the right check boxes for being a PROPER Freelancer successor.

How do you like it, Elon Musk?
I see a lot of potential in this game the realistic solar system is very intriguing to me I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this video game and it’s right up there with kerbal space program, but with kerbal space program 2 coming out soon we shall see how this game will be comparable. The only downside I have to this game is the building mechanics really need to be worked on the putting together of parts of your ship it can become very glitchy and quite frustrating. When you do get the ship that you were building to work correctly it’s a phenomenal game I just hope this game doesn’t get abandoned because it has some great potential.

This game is awesome it’s just awesome, I wonder if Elon Musk has licensed the devs to use his name xD
I wouldn’t be surprised if it were so, because Elon Musk is known for being a Billionaire but modest I don’t act like another billionaire who acts like a complete dick and even named his company after his little dick ;-)

At first, I thought it was some cheap Kerbal Space Program rip-off, but no it’s a really great game!
As for me, as for me, I attended an ISTQB course for manual testers, took the ISTQB istqb foundation level exam and I missed a few fucking points to pass, a few goddamn points.

Last Space Mission
This game is the pinnacle of perfection. Through hard craftmanship was you able to make such a fine specimen of a game. This game is the PEAK of gaming history. Through perseverance and persistance are you able to make it through the waves. Determination is a huge factor in playing and I will be remist if I didn’t mention the graphics of the game. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely play again. Thank you for the amazing work you put into the game and may the game prosper for years to come.

Oddyssey: Your Space, Your Way
The world was doomed, but that was just the beginning. Now four thawed-out crewmembers are the only hope for two million passengers seeking life on a new world. In an effort to save humanity from an earth-shattering asteroid, an ARK Mothership was built to transport two million frozen souls safely to a new, habitable world. At least, that was the plan. Midway through its long journey, the ARK Mothership computers discovered that it was far off course and low on fuel. With no other options, four passengers were awoken early.
Their job? To crew the “Oddyssey” resource vessel, mine asteroids for resources and help the ARK reach the next source of fuel. The process is slow, and more crew members may need to be awoken, but the fates of 1,999,996 fellow passengers hang in the balance.
It’s up to you and your crew to Build, Explore, and Manage your team to get enough resources for the next big jump to a habitable planetary system. The future of humanity literally depends on it!
Collect resources by mining nearby asteroids. Use the collected material to create new tools and technology or send back to the ARK as fuel.
A good crew works effectively. While one is building a new science station, another can be mining asteroids or improving the ship.
Crewmembers can gain temporary boosts and debuffs while working. Ignoring a negative status can impact your performance and eventually lead to grave consequences.
Discover lost alien technology and study it to improve your own.
**Use resources to repair and expand your ship and upgrade its technology. Defend it from alien creatures, solar flares and dangerous asteroids.
Every crew member is an important and unique part of your crew. Unless they die, then they are preplaced with one of the 1.9 million other potential crew members. Assign the new crew where they best fit, or use some gene editing to get the skills you need to survive.**
Power of Ten
What if you took Asteroids, expanded on the gameplay, and gave it a graphics update? that’s Power of Ten. Well-done pixel graphics, good sound effects, and simple but fun gameplay.
The game has little scenarios*, random maps, and weapons pickups, so reminds me a tiny bit of FTL: Faster Than Light, which is nice (I may be a little biased but I love anything like FTL). Power of Ten is made by one guy, and he’s very active on development and feedback in the PoT community which is something I really love seeing. always a good sign.

Its a fine game. But play space is empty. Just a few planets, astroids, and thats it. Would love you see maybe a passing ship in the background or something to make it move lively. I know its space but come on.
Significant slowdowns and lag may turn people off.
NEEDS multiple updates!
Other than that it makes you feel like a true starfighter. Ships handle great and combat is cool. If its on sale buy it, because itll be a solid game in a while.

SMIB: Mission Cure
I loved the game!
It has challenging, fun puzzles and beautiful art.
I found the idea of giving commands to the robot to perform the tasks very cool and requires attention to not end the battery of the robot.

The voxel art plus the puzzle mechanic is amazing! I also like the possibility to change the camera perspective! Remembers a lot the curiosity robot! Great game for tech-lovers like me lol. You Know what? Recommended!

Sputnik
Sputnik is an indie arcade space game where player needs to repair old Soviet Union space settlements. It’s a single player game with cyberpunk style graphics and real retro feel. Gameplay is based on old school games from 1980’s and 1990’s with lives and permadeath.
Player needs to explore abandon settlement in space and fix electricity, oxygen and water generators and make the settlement inhabitable. Explore the settlement and find materials to fix generators and upgrade your space ship to face the challenge!
-
Explore and survive: Explore the settlements and find pickups, repair the generators and try to survive.
-
Upgrade your ship: Player can upgrade his ship on the start of each level. Ship is being upgraded with scraps left from previous level.
-
Upgrade your weapon: Weapon can be upgraded as well. Increase fire rate and ammo capacity with scraps.
-
Use mods for better gaming experience: Game supports mods. Player can set default values from simple text file.
-
Exceptional Soundtrack: Music and sounds are influenced by classic 8-bit, synth wave and ambience music.
There are multiple levels and each level is generated semi-procedurally to give a bit different experience on each gameplay. It is also possible to mod different properties of player and game.
Utopia Colony
First of all it’s a game you play once and never again. Simply because once you complete your mission you win and game ends. It can be done in a w/end.
Game is interesting, it has a huge map you can walk or drive but going from one place to another takes time!
Graphics are not great but decent, there are several bases you can explore and complete some task for credits.
Your main source of credits are minerals can find around, collect and sell for credits. You upgrade your suit with more oxygen capacity, and as you progress you buy rovers, you expand your base and build several buildings like greenhouse which provides food.

Loving this game so far. Love the desolate atmospheric surroundings, and very impressed with my base as it grows. Currently hitting a bit of a brick wall as I need credits to complete the research tasks, but can’t find enough resources to collect, and haven’t figured out how to get my water extractor to work, so having to buy lots of water, cancelling out the credits I earn for any ore do I find on my trips out. I’ve built my greenhouses, and looking forward to when things start go grow. I’ve lost 8 hours straight on my first play, so I really need to go and make my lunch now. Thanks, great game.
