I loved 1976, but 2076 feels so much better than 1976. The Graphics are really great (a video cannot transport how good this looks in VR), and the Gameplay has so much R-Type vibes plus Hand-Interaction with the envirnoment that is only possible in VR. The Immersion Zones feel great too (switching from sidescrolling to a Cockpit-Perspective).At the moment of writing i am stuck at the endboss of level 2, the traffic kills me everytime. Maybe i have to practice more, or is it too much traffic? ;) As a guy in the 50s who grown up with the Oldschool Arcade Games this was a Nobrainer to me.. 10/10

Magical Monster Land

Magical Monster Land

Allthough still at an early stage of development this game really does recreate a very authentic 16-bit platformer experiance. Good physics, level design and the understanding that retro doesn’t mean punishingly hard difficulty. Some of the secrets (of wich ther are quite a few on everly level so far) reward more skilled play and require a higher level of skill than simply finishing the level. A very true retro gaming experiance for nostalgia junkies and a good introduction for those who are too young to have played this type of game.

It unashamedly wears the influences from Mario and and the Donkey Kong series on it’s sleeve and mechanically it feels like a balance of the two. You get a little more running speed and more height on the jump, which - combined with the springs and jumps populating the world - give it a speedy flow, distinguishing it from the aforementioned titles. When you can’t buy Mario or DK on Steam, emulating Mario and DK is not the worst thing. This is the closest experience I’ve found to it, and that put that put a smile on my face.

the art is great and its really fun to just mess around in but the screen is way too zoomed in. 90% of the time you just gotta make a leap of faith which in some situations can get you stuck and since there is no restart button that means you gotta close the game and re open it. level 2 is particularly aggravating because there is no floor so if you fall at certain points you die and have to start over or you get stuck and start from level 1. lots of glitches which at best great for speed-runners and at worst stop the game from working. i had a lot of fun messing around in this game and finding glitches but i cant recommend it if you want to actually play the game. i feel like it has a lot of potential.

Although it isn’t finished and not fully polished, it’s a great example of what we can create in a short amount of time together. It’s a blast playing and messing around, especially with trying to break the game. That world record will be mine.

Lakeview Cabin 2

Lakeview Cabin 2

Another good chapter in the Lakeview series, the 80s Horror/slasher genre feeling is captured again and you can feel it in this new adventure. True moments of distress and the feeling that you have to watch your back will hit you as soon as you start the game (at least after the first night ;-) there is new set of scary Killers waiting for you in this First Episode and new ways to deal with them with some traps you could “built” resembling the ones made by the kid of the old movie “Home alone” that will allow you to make really convoluted ways to hurt and kill your persecutors (The lore is expanded in this new game and as it’s still early for anything “official” everything is left to the interpretation of the players but is clear it is another work of love by the author). The game is still a work in progress but you could lose hours trying to beat it in the best way possible. There is again no Save option and your choices (and some times luck) will determine the outcome of your play. Highly recommended to buy and support the creator and enjoy another Terrific story.

It’s so good. Great for fans of the last games especially. You’re put back into the wild world of Lakeview Cabin with new mechanics, new enemies, and the same amount of full frontal nudity.

I love how this has turned out, BUT be warned that this is very much in early access. You’ll experience lots of bugs, incomplete features, and less levels than the first game. Currently there are 2-ish levels, tons of new items along with old ones, absolutely fantastic graphical improvements, and new physics.

We’ll do our best to make the game construction more thorough and stable. Also, we’ll add more featured experience, gameplay, and content in future updates.

In this fantasy world of swords and magic, Erza will lead an exploration team and start an epic adventure. She will fight unknown monsters and solve mysteries of the world. Why would the fiend become a hair clip? You’ll find the answer in the game.

Features

  • Classic side-scrolling levels with steadier, smoother gameplay. Jump and dash can interrupt other actions’ recovery to get smoother responses.
