Journey to Moonray
Journey to Moonray is a hypnotic, top-down twin-stick shooter featuring silky smooth visual FX and intense combat.
Dive into the same universe as our upcoming Souls-like hack-and-slash Moonray, Journey to Moonray takes you on a voyage through the astral fluid on the way to the planet It-Ao.
Dash through 35+ gorgeous dynamic levels and watch enemies, bosses, bullets, and bombs all disturb the cosmic liquids of the hyperspace battlefield to create a striking visual treat. Plunge into wave after wave of enemies amidst 700 high-tech fluid shaders and unlock the ability to customize the space shooter with your favorite liquid looks.
Designed to take full advantage of the latest GPU technologies and power, Journey to Moonray offers beautiful shaders built on fluid physics. Real-time gameplay input from intense battles results in a responsive feast for the eyes.
Reach a target score within a set time limit in Deadline, or within a limited number of lives in Survival mode. Rack up points while battling waves in Traversal to hit a target score by the end of the level. Take on extra deadly enemies in Boss mode, dealing with the toughest challenges before time runs out.

Super Star Shooter 16
Super Star Shooter is a psychedelic shooter that somehow feels calming to play. It’s in early access so there are some improvements to be had but my time with it has been somewhat of a neat experience. I love the soundtrack and the voice that talks throughout the levels. In a way I feel like I’m playing a combination of star fox and tempest 4000. One thing I wish is maybe for score hunters possibly have an endless mode? That’s just a minor thing I was thinking about. I honestly can’t wait for it to be finished because the progress of this game is good!

Audio Trip
This game is the best feeling I’ve experienced on VR. It’s not just a very solid rhythm game, it’s the fact that nothing comes even close to the glorious and consistent feeling it gives you of ecstatic dancing.
Here are the main reasons I love it so much :
- It’s been for 3 months now a big part of a daily physical routine that makes me feel a lot better ( mood, sleep, lost weight, feeling more dynamic in general) I just do 5 songs in the morning, then work out for 10 minutes, then repeat the process in the late afternoon.

This is a VR rhythm game that gets everything right. I love rhythm games and I play every rhythm game I can get my hands on. When it comes to VR rhythm games and especially ones that claim to be dancing VR games Audio Trip is the best you can get even though no rhythm games currently track your feet. Audio Trip is the only VR Rhythm game I’ve played that I’d actually consider a dancing game and the reason is because the game is designed with every intention that the player wants to move their body.

BullyBall
At the end of the day your opinion of ‘BullyBall’ isn’t going to be down to the game as such, more your opinion of what you expect when you pay just £1.69 for a game. This bow and arrow game sees you shooting balls that are constantly moving towards you. You get a lot of healthy hearts at the start of the game and the chance to win more in terms of powerups. But that is it. The ball are flat 2D items and there is literally nothing else to this game other than a high score. I get that £1.69 isn’t a lot of money, but even at that price point, I wish this game was free. I simply can’t recommend this one at the moment, but with some improvements maybe that will change.

NOISETUBE
NOISETUBE is a virtual reality & music visual experience. Feed it a song, space out, and be whisked away into a unique geometric journey.
Maybe you’ve encountered this feeling in real life: driving down the highway, or riding a bike, and the song you’re listening to just somehow feels perfectly in sync. NOISETUBE aims to capture this emotion of barrelling through space at just the right speed based on the intensity of the song.
NOISETUBE is powered by feeding it a music file from your computer and it generates an ever expanding tunnel for you to be shot through in space.

And the third entry in the Space Funeral series sports a lovely Vaporwave palette. OK, not really, but it might as well be. I could leave it right there, and it’d stand just fine as a recommendation or not, but I’ll elaborate. This is one of those RPG Maker games that defies the usual, and flies in the face of all the half-assed creations that make most people wary about buying anything from the engine. It’s still a little rough around the edges right now, but it’s certainly playable, and I can’t wait to see the finished product!
