Fling to the Finish

Fling to the Finish

This game is insanely fun. It’s wacky and goofy and it makes you laugh even when you’re bad at it. The aesthetics are tight and colorful and bouncy. The obstacle design is super creative and the levels feel massive.

It’s obviously best played with friends but I’ve been really enjoying the single player campaign as well. There are a bunch of things to unlock through a handful of game modes. There is a surprisingly high skill ceiling so personally I enjoy getting better at the levels and posting times on the leader board (some of the times on there are insane already! Can’t wait to see what speed-runners do with the game.)

Very fun game to play with your friends.

Here’s a few of things that need to be added/improved:

  • A detailed match settings screen, where we can tweak time-limit, active maps and map order, active power-ups, power-up spawn rate, gravity, jump height, rope length, modifiers etc.

  • If a team passes the finish line, the match ends instantly. A time setting to allow the other teams to continue would be nice. (First team can spectate the others in this scenario.)

  • The match result screen is a little bit plain. Maybe silly statistics such as the team which fell to their doom most, the player who saved their teammate from falling most, the team which reached the highest speed, the team which jumped the longest distance etc. I think you got the point. Maybe some replay collection of “important” moments from the match can be viewed…

To be honest when I first saw this game I ignored it but After a while when I was looking for FTP games I found this again and decided to give it a try with some of my friends and boy did I have a blast I’ve been playing it for a while now and this game is a great way to just sit back and enjoy a fighting game rather than having to go full try hard but not just that it’s also great to play with friends especially if you want to take your anger out on them by beating the crap out of them it’s honestly really fun and people should try it out more

You ignorant children whining about the bugs are spoiled little brats…… its a beta people…. bound to have bugs and will…. OUR job is to help by letting them know so they can fix it quick and move forward with content or whatever…… you ignorant children are giving negative reviews for no reason in my opinion. I spotted two bugs …. sent it in to the devs within an hour it was adjusted and or fixed. So learn to do reviews properly and with dignity, because you look foolish. GREAT GAME SO FAR DEVS KEEP IT UP!

DEVELOPERS: READ BOTTOM PORTION, UPDATED OCCASIONALLY.

READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU’VE NEVER USED AN EMULATOR BEFORE:

my mind has been blown. im surprised at how little attention this has. as of now product is 2% positive reviews away from “overwhelmingly positive” and rightfully so (i hope it makes it there c:). First off i would like to emphasize that this is not a game but an emulator. A very very nice emulator on steroids. i would akin it more as software that you use to run other games. 3Dsen does not come with these games but it will greatly enhance them if you download the games (via a simple google search) and run them with 3Dsen. their very easy to download if i want super mario bro 3 i just google “super mario bro 3 nes download” and boom there it is.

3DSENVR breathes new life into old classics. Duck Hunt makes for a respectable target shooter in VR. That’s right: Duck Hunt… a game that came out in 1984… is a FUN VR GAME now.

Even stuff that kind of sucked… at the time it came out… is now modernized into a total blast to play: A 1983 Pinball game I otherwise wouldn’t have given ANY thought to as an 8-year-old kid is freaking MAGICAL now. To be clear: I had ZERO nostalgic feelings for that title… but now it’s one of my favorite 3DSENVR games.

Sooo 0 players online and no devs or testers playing on release day or any announcements… I’m out. Feedback before I go

Yeah so assuming this isn’t vaporware or an elaborate ruse to get someone’s computer to mine cryptocurrency, here are my thoughts:

1. You need weapon upgrades that are actually, well, upgrades. Each ship you can purchase from the carrier is nearly perfectly optimized from what I can tell unless you go to the expensive shop in the middle. Give the carrier some weapon upgrades that are actually better than what is on the starting ships you buy.

I used to play FreeStyleFootball and this game has a lot of similarities with FSF. I would love to see more people playing this game. It has 1m+ downloads on mobile but it is free there. With a little bit advertising, it would be so much fun.

It has a lot of potential.

Visually it is great.

Movement and animations feel a bit weird/slow at times, it can surely be improved on that part.

So far they’ve put 5 characters (there are much more on the mobile game).

There are very few players for now but you can also play with bots.

Teardown

Teardown

This game is wonderful.

From the satisfying explosions & realistic lighting and weather, to satisfyingly destructive fire and physics, Teardown is by far the most amazing game I have played in 2021. I may be a bit late to the party, but Teardown has the potential to hold up for the future. If this ever gets ported to next-gen hardware, it would be magnificent. Everything in the game is so amazingly satisfying. Teardown, I must say, is the ultimate stress reliever. There is something so magical about seeing semi-realistic destruction, with no real consequences. Don’t even get me started on the infinite stream of modded weaponry, maps, and random features I didn’t know I needed.

Real player with 156.3 hrs in game

The destruction in this game works incredibly well. It may disappoint some, what with it still abiding by the logic of even a few blocks connected to something can prevent a structure from falling apart, but I ended up viewing that as a useful tool to better break the environment the way I needed to more than a negative. Additionally the first part of the campaign got a bit heavy on timer based missions in which you set up and then have a minute to grab various objectives then escape the level, but these definitely are less common in part 2 and when they do show up they’re different enough from the first ones you get to justify their presence. Overall though, the destruction is great and it combined with the objectives of each mission makes for some very rewarding gameplay.

Domino Simulator 2020

Domino Simulator 2020

Great potential for a huge world of contraptions to be made, already has a stellar selection of items and gizmos to have fun with and the polish on everything looks so nice you can’t even imagine it. I zoomed in on a popsicle stick so close I could see the individual grooves of the wood in the texturing. It’s baffling how much detail is in each piece haha. Runs nicely on my computer so long as there aren’t 10,000 dominoes falling at once XD Dev deserves all the support they can get for this project. Love what I’m seeing so far.

Real player with 40.0 hrs in game

I am glad someone took the time to make a simulator of domino toppling irl.

I used to be a domino builder and playing this is near accurate.

This game’s simulation is the most smooth! All other domino sims can’t preform like this, they were too clunky or hard to control. Controls are straightforward. The domino set up is easy as well! When dominoes are fully toppled they don’t shake for no reason. Resetting actually resets when or before a domino topples is smart!

Rotation system is good! I don’t have to changed a domino all the time. The scrolling system in others just always off puts it.

Ecosystem

Ecosystem

I have more hours than my playtime states, as I usually launch this directly when steam is turned off when I go to bed.

I am a long time fan of ecosims and evolution games. This game is very pure to those genres. It has little to no

“gamification” and exists merely for simulation sake. If you are looking for a “game” here outside of watching

fish being really bad at surviving, you will be sorely disappointed. However, if you are already familiar with other games

of this genre, like the Creatures series, this game will absolutely capture you.

The Disco Slug team seems dedicated to breathing new life into the oldschool Maxis sim genre. First they released Empires of the Undergrowth, the spiritual successor to SimAnt, and with Ecosystem, they seem to be testing the waters (ha!) for a run at SimLife.

First thing’s first: This is an Early Access game. At this stage, it’s not terribly “gamey” at all; the only challenge currently coded into the game is raising your “life points” through the successful propagation of species and strengthening of the ecosystem. There are 8-10 tiers of Life Points through which you can progress. Each tier reached allows you to unlock three new plants, shells, or simple lifeforms (think plankton) to diversify the base of your food chain.

Currently pretty buggy, but the dev’s dedicated to the task and has a good head on his shoulders, focusing on nothing but base gameplay for now.

They’ve come up with a fun way to introduce physics based swordfighting, it’s genius!

Currently unplayable via Virtual Desktop using the Quest2….shows no video, well it does for a split second then goes black. AirLink works yet it places my avatar in the floor. Have not attempted Oculus because I refuse to play a game like this tetheted. I will not refund and hope any future updates fix these issues because I really am excited about this game.
