Super Star Shooter 16

Super Star Shooter 16

Super Star Shooter is a psychedelic shooter that somehow feels calming to play. It’s in early access so there are some improvements to be had but my time with it has been somewhat of a neat experience. I love the soundtrack and the voice that talks throughout the levels. In a way I feel like I’m playing a combination of star fox and tempest 4000. One thing I wish is maybe for score hunters possibly have an endless mode? That’s just a minor thing I was thinking about. I honestly can’t wait for it to be finished because the progress of this game is good!

This is a seriously good retro 3D shooter with great visuals, sound effects, speech, music and playability. If you like blasting things, you will not be disappointed.

BeachHead 2020

BeachHead 2020

This review is for the non-VR game.

I bought the early access BH2020 as soon as it came out and I’ve been enjoying it immensely. I thought BH2002 was a blast so I was excited for this newer version.

The game has a new and detailed look compared to the earlier version. The graphics are nice as are the sounds. I’ve only encountered minor glitches such as the game loosing count of health and a stutter with aiming, but they were quickly resolved when reported to the Devs.

The game is still “early-access” so issues are still being adjusted. I’ve found the Developers to be very attentive to any concerns that are communicated to them. It sounds like they have a huge and fascinating game besides the stationary shooting station out now.

A REAL review on BeachHead 2020

First off, looking at the negative reviews, these people are not giving it time. Almost all if not all played the game for less than an hour if that much (look at their hours on record). With that being said, this IS still in very Early Access, meaning that it will be less than perfect as the company works out the bugs, kinks and adds more features.

I have found a few issues like the aiming is kind of choppy when zooming in. But really I am not holding this against the company. As of writing up this review, the game version is at 1.1.1. So in time I am sure these minor things will be fixed.

As the title say’s

i bought this very cheap back in its early stage, av played before and after the performance update’s and was very pleased the see the dev’s listening to people with their opinions and appling good ideas to their updates.

Its been around 2 months or so since i played this last and today i started it up after my brother and i are a little intoxicated and talking about stuff like world population and resources, so we fired this game up :)

(please do not ask how i could’ve wrote this review if i was intoxicated because unless you know what i mean then you wont know).

Fabulous! I loved it.

What I would add:

So much!

First of all, more weapons. The game should progress maybe a little slower as currently enemies easily overthrow the player (and we are not able to enjoy the scenery ;) ) Maybe start with a pistol or shotgun, then advance through M16, then minigun etc… Player could be able to ‘stop the train’ after , say, long level and purchase medi-kits or additional equipment, something like gas station maybe, that’s tbd. It would give much needed break.

The Tales of Redbox: An Escape From Desire

The Tales of Redbox: An Escape From Desire

A challenging game! I watched this developer create and evolve red box so I know there are more exciting times ahead. Its not easy to get started and I know if you are someone looking to invest in a new developer and seeing them grow, you will not be disappointed in Kareem! This is only the beginning and the journey ahead is going to be filled with grand adventures for the red box community. Support with a thumbs up review!

A good rail shooter game from a budding new indie game developer. Expecting to see further updates and contents. Definitely worth trying. Challenging, frustrating and enjoyable at same time :)

Drive-By Hero

Drive-By Hero

Although being released a year ago, this game seems to put out new achievements from time to time without a single improvement in its quality.

So, I’m reviewing an “early access” version of the game like every other review from June, 2017 to the first months of 2018.. and I don’t really know (and I don’t wanna lose my time in searching in the discussion page and so on xD) if or when this game will be “completely” available.

Man.. this is really bad.

So bad that doesn’t deserve one of my lengthy and thorough reviews.

Richard was a simple minded boy. As a kid, he liked to play video games, he liked that feeling of empowerment when he shot enemies left and right in the latest Call of Duty. He liked to have fun. Life was simple.

Then Richard discovered achievements on Steam and his life took a turn for the worse. Now his games had this phallic bar below their titles, and as boys do he wanted it to be as long as possible. But it was often hard to get it fully erect, with no achievement left undone. All he wanted from video games was fun. Life was already challenging enough with a name like Richard after all.
