Big Fish
Lucky me has the dubious honour of writing the first review for Big Fish.
Big Fish is an early access 2D top down retro pixel brawler/maze negotiation game. In terms of gameplay it’s a ripoff of the first chapter of Spore/the Sparkle series, as you control a top down fish thing and swim around and collect upgrades that give you different enhancements. Following on from the Spore ripoff, in later stages of the game you jump out onto land, but instead of a 3D brawler you get (sigh), a 2D retro pixel platformer stage.

Frontier Hunter: Erza’s Wheel of Fortune
Introduction
Frontier Hunter is a genuine Metroidvania game. Compared to our last work, Frontier Hunter has fuller stories, content, monsters, more exquisite scenes, smoother actions, and a more diversified, personalized cultivation system. We’ll do our best to make the game construction more thorough and stable. Also, we’ll add more featured experience, gameplay, and content in future updates.
Two years ago, Erza obtained the legendary hunter license and became a rising star in the imperial force. Under the rule of the wise and able emperor, the empire grows steadily. As one of the core forces in the expansion, Erza has won many military exploits.
In this fantasy world of swords and magic, Erza will lead an exploration team and start an epic adventure. She will fight unknown monsters and solve mysteries of the world. Why would the fiend become a hair clip? You’ll find the answer in the game.
Features
- Classic side-scrolling levels with steadier, smoother gameplay. Jump and dash can interrupt other actions’ recovery to get smoother responses.
-
During your exploration in the game world, you may find secret passages between the two main areas or accidentally enter unknown chambers with hidden stories.
-
Improved cartoon rendering makes the characters more lifelike.
- Real beat ‘em up combat system. Enemies have more ways to act after hit.
-
You’ll depend more on tactics when it comes to BOSS fights—learn their routines and act swiftly. Seize the chance to hit while keeping a distance.
-
With the character change and support system, Erza won’t be fighting alone.
-
2.5D exquisite scenes will surely make an impression on you. The ultimate skills are made in 3D, which enables cool shows that 2D can’t do.
-
With a more diversified, personalized cultivation system, you can choose your favorite way to raise characters and find more possibilities.

Kharon’s Crypt - Even Death May Die
This game is genuinely good and deserves all the attention. Whether you’re an old-school lover or you’re new to the genre and style, this game will surprise you. The team has worked very hard on the game and the result is a good game.
It will be out of early access when the devs are sure there are no catastrophic bugs or crashes. It will also come out on Switch!
The game itself is very inspired in old gameboy dungeon crawler titles and while it might feel difficult at first glance once you get used to the mechanics and controls it’s not that difficult. I believe everyone should give it an honest try!

The game is really fun and challenging, the music is awesome and it gives og the perfect vibe. The lore is suprisingly detailed and it’s worth reading it all.
! I think it’s a little funny, that you see a cute slime, and then the necronomicon says it’s human pulp.

Mind Lock
Mind Lock is an interesting game that I think is worth your time. I haven’t played many Metroidvania’s but I am a fan of in-depth magic systems in games, and this one offers a magic system like no other. As you can imagine since it’s in early access (and only one level is available), the game is still in the works and more content is being added in the future. Still, I want to give everybody a fair review to base their decisions on:
The game is charming, relaxing, and a good time if you enjoy messing around with magic systems, although your choices may not have as large of an impact as you may think. However, the current mouse and keyboard controls are a little asinine, and the game does state that it was designed to be played on controller. You can’t change your keybinds so I fear that those /iwithout a controller will have a bad time. If you do have a controller, you’ll find the controls to be very easy to get used to. Still, I can’t help but feel excited for the game’s future, and for $5 it’s not too much of an investment.

Cute lil game! it is still in early access but it’s got potentials. Really like the level design and the cute artwork. Story is simple yet intriguing, hope there is more about the black dog’s backstory. The controls could’ve been improved, and the attack/hurt animation transition is a bit stiff. Overall I would recommend this game and looking forward to more chapters!

The fate of the world depends on you, hunter.
UROS: A Trip Through Shadows
What can I say about this game? By and large, a very good action-platformer. Fast, not very heavy, with nice graphics. Yes, it feels like many things were “taken”, or simply copied from the Hollow Knight. But in general, it is interesting to play. It would be. If not for a small unpleasant circumstance. I have run the game twice. And twice it flew out of me with the deletion of my save! This is just wonderful! This is just fine! I don’t have the words. Developer, how can you make games LIKE THIS and upload them to the public?! Was it really impossible to conduct tests at least for critical bugs?! If they correct it over time, I will even go through to the end. But now this game is simply impossible to play! Dislike.

This game still need a lot more work to do, especially the way the sword slash effect is short but still hit enemy a bit far from it is kinda weird, theres a bug where after you defeat the 1st boss, when you fall down it wont load the next room and you just fall into void. Also the most annoying thing is that your game crashes and then your save file is gone.
If you can bear the current state of this game, i would recommend you to give it a try.
Otherwise, just wait for the full game to comes… maybe…

Betrayer: Curse of the Spine
Okay, let me start out by saying that i actually REALLY LIKE this game. I played through the demo multiple times since hearing about it a couple of months ago, and was excited when it came out 3 days ago and have been playing it as much as i can since. But with all of that being said…this game definitely has some bugs/issues & and is SO CLOSE to being absolutely great…that i hate having anything negative to say about it in this “review” for it.
First things first: PLAY THE DEMO (which is actually pretty long) BEFORE BUYING THIS GAME.
