There’s a lot to like about the game, but also a lot to hate.

To a new buyer, I’ll lay it out simple:

Playing the game solo is unlikely to be satisfying. The game centers around a persistent war (24/7) where vast imbalances in population per side and per region are actively exploited to overrun one side or the other. You are entirely dependent on what the rest of your team has done in the last few hours, as well as the number of players currently present, to stand a chance.

For someone who doesn’t care, or likes being roped into big clan ops or plays with friends: You will catch a lot of flak for playing badly, but many clans are happy to take you in and teach you.

A wonderful game that encourage coop with other people to achieve victory in a shared war. The experience is something to truly behold as you experience war that is depicted as it is, bloody, despairing and death. Take part whether as:

Logistics: to ferry supplies to the front, the lifeblood ensuring that the front does not fall

Infantry: Holding the lines against other players through a variety of small arms, from bolt action rifles to machine guns all manufactured at factories.

Builders: Crafting intricated layered defences powered by AI and players, building the trenches and bunkers ensure the first line of defence.

Despite the mixed reviews I went against what they said and bought it anyway, and if I’m being honest, I really like the game.

I see a lot of great potential and promise unlike some other games that just money grabbed and left. These developers have actual talent and the know-how to make a fantastic game, and so far (with the exception of bugs and lack of game play at the moment), it seems to be working great and progressing really well.

I would recommend this game to those that like a more chill and progressive type of game play and don’t mind the player base (which is currently very low). The models are fantastic however the lack of sound from them is quite annoying as only the elk and tiger produce a form of a call (from what I know), and the elk call is extremely loud and overbearing and the starter animals that you wish to play as have no attack animation making you completely defenseless against others that wish to attack you. However on the bright side you are small and almost quick enough to get away (despite the raccoon, its pretty slow, but the rabbit has such a little hitbox that its very hard to eat unless you are a smaller creature such as a fox).

So lets start with the cons,

the game is obviously a bit buggy but i appreciate that the devs acknowledge that at the start of the menu instead of trying to pass it off as a complete game. And there is really no single player content whatsoever, and 1 other person playing on any of the servers. Obviously, if this were a fully released game these would be deal breakers, but its still early access and they’re still adding updates. On top of that, the map is big and beautiful, and animal graphics are stunning and the phsysics are super realistic which i love. So for those reasons and the hope that they will add more content to this game, Im not gonna refund it.

EDITED (3.21.2018) Wonder why the reviews are Mixed? Should I say “told you so”, or is it too soon?

This failed project they call a game has SO many bugs because the frauds, I mean “developers”, have almost no time testing their own products. The game has been out for a month and a half and 2 of the devs ONLY have a combined of 20 hours on the actual game.

As an Android and Facebook app developer, I spend insane amounts of time testing my products. The only way I can figure out how to fix my products are by spending time testing them out.

This game says it’s in Beta… How did it make it through Alpha? I cant play more then 5 minutes it seems before Im stuck on a horse that wont move with no way to dismount, or bugged in a way to all my character will do is run around (no jumping or action such as weapon swings or gathering attempts). This is, or course, the few times where the main menu doesnt give an unknown error and the menu itself disappear leaving only the background showing with no option but to force the game closed. Early Access sure. but when you cant even walk around and click things without it breaking… it shouldnt have even been released to anyone. It only takes 5 mins to play your own game outside of Unity to know its not close enough.

Great game I like the simplistic graphics. Worth the small cost to help develop the game. Would like to see more maps and the large field map needs to be tweaked to get players in battle earlier. A trench maze that connected in the middle might be an idea? Look forward to see new updates and the game grow!

Bought this because i saw it was on VR Home’s “multiplayer games by player count” so i thought it would have some sort of community.

Upon entering the game, not only do i find that this game has No other players that i can see, there is also NOTHING to do. i can teleport around a ghost town, grab a few things and pour water on a seed. thats it.

I hope steam looks into why this game is on the top charts for “multiplayer games by player count” because i saw no other players in my time playing.

Update 31.3.2019

This game is similar to rust but with zombies and wildlife.

It does not hold your hand and can be challenging

Although the development dont communicate as much as they would like they try there best to listen and sort things as much as they can.

I recommend this game to those who want a challenging but fun survival game.

28.3.2019

Pros:

1. Game looks and plays a lot like rust so is a good transfers for all you Rust fans that want and escape from Rust itself

2. The game guns pretty well and graphics are pretty good unity based i would say.

Real player with 20.5 hrs in game

After about 5 hours, I thought I’d give my thoughts on this game. First off, I want to say that if you gave the game a bad rating solely because of the bad English, then that’s just stupid. If you’re giving it a bad rating because you’re a Rust fanboi, then just stop. It’s not cool.

Now as for the game it self, it’s pretty good for what it is right now. I have never played Rust, nor will I ever play it, so I can’t judge it by that.

In the solo version of that game, there’s not much to do except survive against the environment. Hunt, build, forage and kill monsters when you encounter them. Some things are still very unbalanced and you will have a hard time. Using the forge takes forever to smelt ore of any type. It’s not a fun time. Building is fairly quick and easy. Crafting tools is fast also. Depending on what you’re making. The game never crashed on me in solo play. Game seems to be optimized well with my Ryzen 2700x and 1080ti. But, all in all this game has tons of potential.

Kingdoms In Chaos

I think this game has a ton of potential. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. At roughly 100 hours I’m wrapping up basically everything you can do in this game so… But to me 10 dollars for 100 hours is a steal.
