Hardware Engineers

Hardware Engineers

First of all, this game is AWESOME! You can play and have a good and educational experience.

History/Gameplay

The game has a history made by you, you have a computer store on the city and need to get reputation and money to your business. You can also build PCs to do Bitcoin mining to help with the monthly bills. So, the game have a really good topic, have good tutorials and a demo to you play before buy it.

Camera

On the camera you can feel a little unconfortable because it’s a little different from the other games, at least i feel that the controls are quite different but nothing that seriously. Rotating the objects using the middle mouse button (MB3) it’s a good thing but i’m not sure if everyone who plays this game know’s about this feature.

There are a few things to be aware of with this game.

1. This is not in Early Access or Beta anymore. As of April 22nd, 2019 this game is officially version 1.0. Things are pretty quiet from the developer so it is likely that any and all changes/tweaks to the game will be from the community via mods.

2. This game is not built on a pre-existing game engine and is not super optimized. It is a labor of love with some rough edges. I can run it on maximum 1080p settings on my Lenovo Yoga laptop, but it sounds like I am flying an airplane at takeoff.

Train Frontier Classic

Train Frontier Classic

This is a completely awesome release of a former xbox 360 game. If you played it on there, you should definitely play it on PC. Reasons? Multiplayer is doubled; Now eight players can share a layout. There appears to be NO MEMORY LIMIT for placing of tracks and objects - I am guessing that this is entirely dependent upon your system memory. The only limit seems to be the soze of the ‘world’, and that seems t be about the same size as it always was.

If you haven’t played this befoe and like fun train games, then give this a go. Its not a serious sim, but it is tremendous fun, and some truly awesome ‘layouts’ can be created amd shared with those that ‘visit’ your layout. Loads of locos and rolling stock included, but you must make your consist before you take to the track, and you cannot currently uncouple your consist, and can only one one train in solo mode - however, the playing fun of this is definitely in the Multiplayer Mode, and in teh hours you can spend building your layouts, which is both fun and easy. Five stars out of five!

MOENTO - Modular Environment Toolkit

Let me start by saying that this is one of my favorite games at the moment.

I think we all have times when we just don’t know what to play, or you just want to relax and not play CS:GO against spinbotter… This is the game that fills this gap.

I randomly saw this game and instantly fell in love with the assets.

In the beginning it was a little hard to get an overview of all the buttons, but they were all pretty self understanding. After I played a little around I started working on a house. And let me tell… it is SO SATISFYING to do build anything in this game… the animations are on spot 3 I posted it on the Discord of bblessed Gamestudios and the Developer loved it… so sweet.

This is really, really awesome. Once you get used to the controls and how to work things, you can throw together pretty much anything. I give this game a 10/10

Transports

Transports

TL;DR A modern and 3D approach to Transport Tycoon Deluxe.

Pros:

  • no more isometric view , now you can rotate and zoom in/out easier

  • power plants have a purpose - no power no production, no power no city growth

  • the commodities flows have a larger purpose, in TTD you just transport them from one industry to another and that was it, in Transports you complete the requirement for industries and generate new commodities, and those commodities will be transported to cities and will help them grow.

The developer is constantly fixing and adding new features into the game. The game is quite good. People you need to buy It now and get those bug reports out to the developer so they can be fixed. I think that this game has to be one of the fewest that doesn’t have a lot of major bugs.

The game does’t need a tutorial simply because the game is really simple. The gameplay is quite simple and enjoyable. If you enjoy playing a game like Open TTD then this game is for you. This game is not at all like most transportation games in fact It’s much better because It has better graphics and the layout is far better then most games in this genre have.

Warhammer 40,000: Regicide

Warhammer 40,000: Regicide

‘The King is Dead. Long Live the King’

‘Warhammer: Regicide’ is a gloriously bloody reimagining of one of the world’s oldest turn-based strategy games - Chess - set against the violent backdrop of the Warhammer:40K universe. Gorgeous visuals, tactically diverse gameplay and unapologetic violence elevate a classic board game to quite something else entirely.

Campaign: Act 1 - consisting of 10 playable missions - is currently active in Early Access. Act’s 2 and 3 are to follow shortly. (This section will continue to be updated)

I bought Warhammer 40,000: Regicide last Summer when I was on a Games Workshop kick. It was my intention to go for a complete collection of all the Games Workshop licensed games, and Regicide had the added benefit of me having seen some coverage on it from TotalBiscuit. It looked more of an oddity than anything else, but I managed to see it through to the end.

The game is essentially Chess set in the 40K universe, using the Space Marines and Orks as chess pieces to simulate the battles. How Regicide differs from Chess is that once you have moved, you can use abilities of your pieces on an Initiative Points system to attack your opponent. This works on a percentile mechanic, and usually amounts to shooting them, or attacking them in close combat if you’re in an adjacent square. It takes longer to eliminate a piece using this method, but if you focus enough attacks in one place, you can take out entire armies without having to capture anything; the usual method for Chess. This is augmented by additional abilities from the various pieces: Devastators (Bishops) have the ability to focus their attacks to do more damage at the expense of being able to move, Assault Marines (Knights) have increased attack power after they move and can also throw Krak (anti-armour) grenades, and so on. This creates an additional strategic layer to the game and sets it apart from either Chess or 40K in a way that, for the most part, works reasonably well.

Dark Quest 2

Dark Quest 2

Greetings jung lad. Come and take a seat. I will tell you from a time of darkness…

It all took place in a world, similar to one we know, but different enough to be worth another story.

Were a handful of heroes gathered to defeat the evil sorcerer Zantor. For ages he dwelled in the darkness, raising his foul minions unter his iront fist, and one after the other, free lands fall before him.

Mighty castles turned into lairs of terror, swarmed by his minions, til a few remaining heroes gathered:

The wild barbarian, the wise wizard, the studdy dwarf, the mysterious dark monk, the swift archer and the honorable knight. Together, under the leadership of the barbarian warrior, they march towards the darkest of all places in the world: Zantors Keep.

Dark Quest 2 is a dungeon exploring game with very simple mechanics. Almost everything can be done with a click of the left mouse button. However, it’s not an easy game.

You start the game as a Barbarian, but are later able to change or add additional heroes to your party. There are a total of 28 quests. Each quest has its own maze of a map to explore, complete with gold, gems, magic pots, traps, and monsters. The gold and gems are used to buy potions, craft items, obtain temporary bonus stats, heal heroes, and resurrect them if they have fallen. Everything is expensive, and money can be quite scarce. The magic pots are used to upgrade abilities and skills. These are also relatively scarce. Traps can only be detected by a skill or by the use of a crafted item, and some traps are unavoidable.

Blade and Sorcery

Blade and Sorcery

120 hrs in, multiple wonderful updates, even a youtube video I made on it- I cannot recommend this game more. The modding scene can add pretty much anything you want- from dark souls weapons, to a m4 rifle you can build and customize by hand (well, depending on your game version due to modders needing time to update).

But even with that, I find myself removing my mods every now and then just to experience the base game again, it’s so good. I love what I saw one reviewer say, good for those in retail. Definitely a plus for me being in mostly customer service XD

This game needs some time to get used to. But once you are familiar with it’s mechanics it is great fun and allows a lot of experimentation. Also mods are supported and only get destroyed if cool new content is released. The new dungeon mode also offers a lot of new value.
