Aimtastic

I’ve played every single one of these aim trainers, with Kovaak’s FPS trainer being the best and most indepth of the aim training games, however Aimtastic’s “Simple Circle” mode is one of my absolute favourite warm ups, in fact, I use it everytime before I jump into a competitive game. Aimtastic also have great customizability allowing you to adjust just about all the parameters you could want to adjust and its also free, would highly recommend!

This game has RUINED MY LIFE. Let me tell you the tale of my greatest achievement leading to my ultimate downfall.

I was absolutely rubbish at all games that required aim. I had never gotten a kill in my 6 year fortnite career. None of my buddys would play anything with me. I fell into a state of depression. I have 20k hours on farming sim 1990, the only game I’ve ever been good at. Then, i found this aim trainer. It was INCREDIBLE. My bad aim was cured. My buddy old palls came back to me and we hit the apex squads every day. I didn’t miss, I only hit heads. I was the best player to touch any shooter i played. BUT THEN, my beautiful empire of aim came tumbling down. My aim was TOO GOOD! i got banned from every game id ever played. Even farming sim :(. My friends left me again and i was lonely once more. And i have been to this day. I’m just destined to be bad at games, its my fate. I hate my life. Gonna go dig up my nan.

First, I want to say I loved Funorb & Arcanists. This is how I found this game. It’s a crime people don’t make these kind of games & everything is FPS or RPG. There is definitely a NEED for this genre to explode. It requires strategy, aiming, real time thinking, & planning. Setting up your book will give you an advantage, but you’ll lose something every time you add a spell. There is no perfect combination, & each map will play to your strengths or weaknesses. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way. How does this game stack up with Arcanists - because it IS the elephant in the room?

If you played Arcanists back in the day, you won’t be disappointed with Wizards. It’s exactly like Arcanists, and I’m really glad we have this amazing gem of a game playable again.

Honestly, being able to unlock spells without having to do the grind of ranked matches is really great. I can just play with friends, mess around, and unlock the spells. Solid thumbs up from me!

An extremely unique game with a concept I’m surprised I haven’t run into before. The game itself is very fun in general with decent graphics, fun game play, and pretty cool character movements. I’m quite curious to see what will become of this game and especially how they will handle multiplayer.

I however do have an issue with the game. Every once in a while when you respawn your character stays on the ground. You can still move around but its impossible to do anything productive. Here’s what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ojQhbwSuKg

Space Wars: Interstellar Empires

Played this game 70 out of the 80 so hours I have. Not a bad game it’s a bit like eve but without all the years needed and flying mostly around empty space, just battles with that immersive RP feel and global map objectives. Huge emphasis on Team-work and high value ship kills are a very satisfying experience. I’m a pretty big fan of High-risk high reward games, the strategy is a bonus. It’s pretty much the owners passion project he is open to engaging with the community and takes community feedback very seriously. I don’t think he is really looking for any kind of huge profit there is no p2w elements at all.

This game has potential, but likely will never be realized. There’s no more than 15-20 players online at any one time which means even fewer for your faction.

The combat is horrifically slow. Each player gets a 1:30 to make a full turn, which leads to fights with humans taking literally hours.

The game is terribly balanced as well. There’s simply no rock, paper, scissors type counter to some of the ships at certain levels. Even without officer points, It doesn’t matter how well you play your ship even when equal tier and no officer points. There’s no tier balance.

Wild Warfare

Wild Warfare

I been playing Wild Warfare since it first came out under a different name. I have one word for this game. Addictive. Oh, and fun. So I guess it’s two words… Anyways, the game is very simple to understand and very classy for a FPS. Right now, the game features 3 classes. Striker, Engineer, and the Heavy. My favorite class as of right now is the Engineer.

The Engineer has the ability to double jump, as well as move very quickly. The Engineer attacks with a monkey wrench, which does a ton of damage. The game also features Vehicles. The one vehicle that is available right now, is the Raptor. When you are controlling it, you have the ability to fire rockets which does massive damage. In all, Wild Warfare is a fantastic little game that is just getting started. With more maps, classes, items, vehicles, modes, and MORE on the way, this game is definitely worth the price of $7.

Wild Warfare is a surprisingly addictive game. If you want to look at this way, you could definitely say that it is very similar to TF2, but that’s not necessarily bad - in fact, it’s great! Wild Warfare is almost like the alternative we’ve been looking for. Put a cone on your bear and shoot a bunch of raccoons with your mini gun - family-friendly! You won’t find blood and gore in the game, it is definitely something I wouldn’t show your 5 year old, most likely an “Everyone 10 and up” game.

Unfortunately, the game is very inactive now. Not lots of players anymore, not lots of maps, barely any classes, only four game modes, two of which are pretty much the same. However, the game is still in beta mode, so you have to give it time. UNFORTUNATELY, the devs are focusing on games that are making them the most money. So for now, the game is pretty dead… regardless of this, however, I will give it a positive review and recommend it, in hopes that the developers will notice it again, and because, well, it is a good game that has lots of potential.

Underworld Idle

Underworld Idle

The long-term progression in this game is fucked. Spending days on a run will give you absolutely pitiful rewards and I swear my only options are spending months slowly progressing and purchasing pitiful rewards that won’t help at all, or I would need to play for months without triggering a reset before I would even have a hope of entering the second faction’s prestige room to see what the upgrades there are like.

Let me elaborate a bit: In a few days, I can get between 150 and 200 ashes before things start getting really slow. To get one more ash, I need to multiply my money amount by ten. In order to get a single bonus at this point in the game, I need anywhere from 500-1000 prestige points (barely better than a 1:1 exchange rate with ashes, but saved between resets), and the bonuses I can purchase with those points tend to have effects on the level of “multiply your production or divide ash costs by a factor of 10-100” meaning I get ONE OR TWO additional ashes for EVERY run of the same length. For those to break even, I would need to do hundreds of runs, all of which take multiple days to complete. If I don’t want to rely on this ridiculous system, I could try to get a different faction’s currency up to a certain point, but every subsequent faction has like a third as many producers available, and the exponential nature of the game means it could take weeks to progress a single tier in their factions. I have literally no idea just how long I would have to wait before I could get to a level where I could even find out what rewards are available for purchase to see if the rewards are worth it in the first place.

TLDR: This is a clicker not an idle game, if this game was named “Underworld Clicker” I would give it a thumbs up, but since it is named “Underworld Idle” and it is not an idle game I can’t recommend this game. If you want a very active clicker game then this is for you, if you are looking for an idle game then look elsewhere.

Long version:

I have played this game for a long time now, I wanted to unlock every feature without any forms of cheats and I feel I did so now. At least every feature that is available at the time of this review.

Scavengers

Midwinter, The Developers, found a great way to make the game worse and worse over multiple months.

They claim to care about player feedback, but straight up ignore it all. They also claim that they want to be transparent, but their patchnotes contain less than 10% of their actual changes and usually state mostly “fixed some crashes”. They leave out actual changes that matter a lot more for gameplay and state thing people probably don’t even care about.

following things haven’t been in patchnotes multiple times so far:

There is genuinely a fun concept with some very good ideas under all the mess of bugs and issues:

  • A new take on the BR genre, and I don’t mean the PvE, since that’s been done many times already - This is one of the, if not the least RNG-reliant one I’ve ever played, which takes out a lot of the frustration of getting bad draws.

  • A more “filled” map where you’re constantly doing something - resource management and looting, fighting adds, fighting or trying to avoid players, dealing with the environment, etc. - it has less dead time where you are just running across an empty map waiting to run into players to finally be able to play the game.

I came home from school one day, and I was eager to start the weekend. I was bored of most games, so I decided to search the free to play section. What happened next is the turning point of my life.

All my life I’ve been an atheist, but what I’ve seen today is absolute proof that there is some kind of all-loving intelligent being. No way would such a superb product ever hit steam stores if there was no driving force in humanity, pushing the limits of what is possible today.

I’ve seen absolutely stunning and groundbreaking games, but the drone technology present in this game is so amazing and advanced that it requires multiple supercomputers hooked up to massive eiffel towers in order to power one. The intellegent designer is so present in this drone technology that I can only dream of ever being able to grasp the smallest part inside of it.

what to say, i tried this game. after reading the reviews. and let me say, this game is bugged in more than a few hundred ways. some of the characters cant pick up anything, others, only can find one gun, while some have no hit box. Is this game fun? yes, the comedic value behind how bad it is, is quite literally there. however after doing everything the game asks you to do to “win”. the game bugs out for every character. now i know what your thinking. how could this kid even play as all the characters and beat the game in that little of a time span. its simple, the game is so bugged that only one character can even get to the end. the female with huge boobs if you were curious.

very basic, kinda (R/P/S) style of combat. where Strat, Tactics and Skill seem to be winning as the 3 determing factors in battles.

This interesting notion of ‘corodors’

(3 per round.

w/ 3 cards of marynbary variety being played to eventually fill the grid creating something not unlike a real time assortment of wild tabletop roleplay mixing it up; sans the dicechucking but in this frame of mind I’ve had the very familiar assertion a lot of playing this is going to be playing:

Battles of the Valiant Universe CCG seems like a cool digital card game. New updates definitely improved the game. I hope that the team continues to work on this game. It’s a fast moving game so you really have to bring your best game. The game tutorial is much improved and makes the game easier to understand. Also worth mentioning is that game is easy to learn, and after playing several games I had no problem understanding what was going on.

It needs some more work but for the game in the Early Access it has pretty good game mechanics and it’s really fun to play. Overall, I would definitely recommend.
