King of Crabs

King of Crabs

The game is one of the more fun .io games I’ve tried, and most of the reviews being left saying it is pay 2 win are by people who either watched a streamer blow over $700 to get Alien crab or played one match and got clowned on/never learned how to play. There are some very real concerns and issues with the game, but the pay 2 win aspect isn’t one of them.

Pros:

  • The two best crabs in the game (Stone for never losing a fight and Spanner for never dying) are both in the second most common rarity tier. They can be easily unlocked by completely free to play players within the first few hours of playing.

Terribly unbalanced pay to win game with a very limited lifespan. Soon the game will be crawling with Top tier crabs like Alien crabs etc. the game has a pay to respawn system with increasing costs. This was built to encourage “revenge wars” like a crappy scam on habbo. It even puts a skull and crossbones on you killer to get you to attack him again. The game was fun at first but now that players are powerful they can field very powerful crabs that a new player cannot possibly hope to win against. not to mention the fact that there are clans now teaming in larger teams than the 2 man buddy system in a free for all game making it nearly impossible for solo players. this game is dying fast and its the most most ruthless players that are going to kill it. As they say xqc is going to curb stomp till this game has no player base. This game has tons of bugs and other pay to win features. Enemies and NPC crabs can spawn on you and kill you in a heart beat. you can have your best weapon replaced by a stick and then killed with your own king hammer thanks to things appearing under you. Basically be prepared to die randomly sometimes with little or no sense which is very annoying in a survival game.

15 hours worth of exactly what I wanted, I’ve maxed everything out, looking forward to full release! I paid 5$ for this, and easily would have paid 15 - 20$ for the alpha.

Not sure if a developer has ever read one of my reviews before but, things I would like to see in the future for A.G (also my initials, because were dope) are :

Relationship status with villagers - Increasing this would broaden the villagers desires and spending leeway. The amount you overcharge on an item would be in the formula for decreasing their relationship points. Levels of acquaintance could be titled. Pop up messages from villagers to convey appreciation or anger. “Damnit! I can never rely on you!” This may even end up influencing his battle outcomes.

I bought and played this game for about 5 hours on Alpha 2 until they updated it the next day with Alpha 3, and there were so many changes that it feels like a whole different game. The Alpha 2 version was fun if a little simple, but the update has made the game so much better in a lot of ways. It was like the developer could read my mind, they added pretty much everything I wanted to see in this game.

Overall, the game is a lot more fun and a little more challenging than it was before. If you enjoy collecting/harvesting items and crafting with them at a casual pace, then this could be a fun game for you.

The guns feel great especially the minigun on the initial car you drive. Currently there is a shotgun, handgun, smg, and assault rifle. The combat can be tricky if the enemy detects you first. There is fuel scattered around the map and makes you search for it to keep driving.

Only a few hours in, but this is something special. Definitely a bit of learning curve, but once it starts to click it’s soooo cool and satisfying. I haven’t even gotten to crafting guns and stuff yet, I’m still having fun just whacking bugs with my stalk climber things to compulsively grab crafting items for later. The verticality and intense traversal make it an awesome experience. Also pretty well optimized. It’s one the few games that can run at 120-144hz on my machine. Look forward to seeing how it progresses, but it’s still worth jumping in now in my opinion!

Being quite honest, I don’t really know what’s out there in VR in terms of climbing simulation, and I never really tried one such games so I came into Bean Stalker with a mind somewhat void of expectations or bias - But knowing entirely well that a straight up simulation, this would not be!

Instead I’m proposed with an action game where you are climbing a giant bean stalk, plunder all manner of crafting materials, make yourself some tools and weapons, and murder a number of vicious critters on your way up including some bosses which are your primary enemy, the other one is the floor that sits far, far below.

Blasting Courier

Blasting Courier

Good concept but they need to give you more to work with. There is just too much RNG involved the first few moves are often times unavoidably luck based and quite often even on the bigger maps with half of the map uncovered you have no other choice than to roll the dice and hope for the best.

What in the flying crap is this deception and FLAT OUT LIE being posted by the developer of this game?

^^ THIS ^^ - Is the type of crap that quite frankly p*sses me off. Let’s be honest here.. This is nothing short of intentional deception and manipulation and a flat out LIE by this developer.

THIS SHOWS US THE CHARACTER OF THIS DEVELOPER ALL BY ITSELF AND IT SHOULD GIVE YOU ALL THE REASON YOU NEED TO PASS ON BUYING THIS GAME.

Era of Survival will give you an hour or two of fun before the boredom inevitably sets in. The game fails mostly in that it ignores the lessons of other survival games. Almost everything you craft takes a minimum of 30 seconds. It also takes an absolute ton of resources. An example is one stone arrow takes something like 35 wood and 10 stone…for one! It also takes 30 seconds real time to make it. If you want to make a bow and 20 arrows, it will take 30 minutes. This is the same with everything. A wood door takes over 100 wood, a single piece of roofing 200. I think both of those items took a full minute each to build.

Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore

Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore

The world of Irumesa is filled with countless dangers such as creepy swamps, unexplored caves, and dungeons. Immerse yourself in this hardcore MMORPG and play the way you want to.

You live in a world called Irumesa. You start in the Solitary Isles and make your way through to the mainland, where you will traverse tundras, deserts, swamps, and more. Explore hundreds of interesting locations, each filled with a story, quests, and beautiful scenery.

One essential thing to us with this game is developing a game with a high risk to reward ratio. The game will be difficult, and the risks are high in general. We are trying to implement content for all types of players, both casual and hardcore RPG gamers, but the main focus will be on the more hardcore. With great risks comes great rewards!

Dying in Ethyrial will be harsh and punishing. We can guarantee that you will get frustrated at times. But we believe that this is also one of the things that makes a game fun to play. Knowing that death is so nasty and the stakes so high will increase the rewarding feeling when accomplishing something difficult. Death will result in irreversible experience loss, and items will be dropped at random. Players may pick up items again if someone else doesn’t get there first!

Teamwork will be an important aspect of Ethyrial, and leaving teammates to die will not really be an option. We want to enforce teams to really work together during instances, and boss fights to implement a “Party-loss system.” If a teammate dies, the entire party will share that players experience loss. If the rest of the team survives and manages to revive their teammate, some of the lost experience will be given back to the team.

PVE will, of course, be a big part of Ethyrial gameplay. You will encounter many boss fights and will be able to party up with your friends to clear the harder bosses. Instances (Dungeons) will come in plenty and with different difficulty. We will also introduce a Colosseum-style arena, where players, either solo or in a party, have to fight their way through different bosses in an arena.

You can’t have a great MMORPG without a good PVP system, where people can put their skills to the ultimate test against other players. We have plans to implement several different PVP-arenas where you are free to roam as you please, with ratings visible for everyone.

We have implemented a bounty system in the world to increase the risk of killing other players. Player killing will be mostly unrestricted but risky in the way that a bounty will be placed upon you. This will make you a target to other players looking to make some money. In the future, bountied players will also be restricted access to some areas, as a high bounty will make guards and other dangerous NPC’s very interested in you. Maybe you’ll find friends in darker places? In Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore, nothing is written in stone, and you decide who you want to become.

We plan on allowing you to be able to build your own houses, workshops, trading posts, castles or whatever you want. We will not feature an instanced housing system, as you will be able to buy a plot of land almost anywhere in our open world. You may team up with your clan to build a massive clan mansion or gather enough money and resources to build yourself a small cabin in the woods. What you do is up to you, although these benefits won’t come cheap.

Like with many other MMORPGs, we want to provide a solid crafting system. The crafting system will also have a higher risk/reward than what most players are used to, as items are varied in quality, wear over time, and not guaranteed to be crafted successfully - this is dependant on your skills. Basic blueprints are made available to the player through simple means such as vendors. However, more advanced blueprints can only be obtained through means of exploration, questing, and other types of content.

Our game will feature many different spells, but we are also creating a spell-crafting system, where players can further specialize their character by creating spells fit for their game style. A crafted spell starts blank and gets more powerful as you add abilities and powers to them. But be careful, as tinkering with some of these ancient powers may cause it all to go away. This system will be very high risk, but very high reward!

The community will be a large part of the game, whether you are alone, in a clan or a part of a small group of friends. We will have a system that facilitates this game mechanic, like your clan buying up land and making a new town on a trade route or you and your friends picking up bounties and hunting down criminals. We are working on more as well that we will share in the future.

(We will release more info as we develop further)
