Bravery Network Online
-
“Ok, I have the advantage here. My Digital Attack is strong against the fighter they have out right now…”
-
“If they notice this, they will probably tag out into their other fighter with a high Digital Defense stat, meaning I won’t do much damage and they will have the advantage again…”
-
“If I predict their switch, and switch to my other fighter in the back with the high Physical Attack stat, I’ll keep my advantage and then be able to set up the win”
If you like this sort of turn based, mind games type combat, then you’ll love Bravery Network Online (BNO) !! It has a good selection of available fighters (with more on the way) - all with their own pools of possible attacks and tricks they can use. You can build up your team of 5 fighters and fight online against other people in both casual and ranked matchmaking. There are some story and single player elements, but BNO is mostly designed around PvP and playing online - at least at this point in early access.

I wrote my first review when I only played 5.8 hours of the game, and even then, I had a blast with the game. Now, with 195 hours in and getting 3rd place in a community run tournament, and running a tournament myself, I came back to revise my review.
The gameplay is much like competitive pokemon, you and your opponent bring in a fighter, and you select a move without knowing the opponent’s selected move. However, what I find most interesting in this game is that it does not have the random effects that can happen in pokemon. Statuses are not applied by chance, a critical hit is not random, and neither are misses, which are parries in this game. However, other reviews will talk about this at length, so I’d like to focus on another side of the game.

Me Vs You
Me Vs You is a competitive 3D Action game that features unique Arenas. Each Arena requires a different skillset to excel. Compete online against others or play the game in single-player mode to improve and beat your own high score. Choose either between a prebuilt challenge or face a new one via Procedural Level Generation or Random configurations.

Get to the Goal as fast as possible.⠀
Warning: The path won’t be a straight line.
Avoid damage as best as possible while keeping an eye on the actual goal.
No worries: This time, you won’t wipe your MMO Raid.
Use your bow to move the ball to the designated area while collecting some bonus zones. It’s easy, right?!
No worries: Balls are provided.
Typical simple 1vs1 gunfight. Your opponent isn’t immediately visible and the round starts after a small random delay.

Symmetry: Early Access
I would definitely recommend this game, especially to anyone who enjoys puzzle games or has a competitive group of friends! The game play is highly addictive with lots of “replayability” thanks to the level times being displayed on the menu - a great way to compete against friends! A global leaderboard would be an excellent addition.
Controls are simple but extremely punishing once you begin trying to speed-run the levels to set faster “lap” times. One wrong spin or jump can send you off, which makes it very tense and incredibly rewarding when you hit that end portal and beat your best time!

So far this is a really fun game. I got it not really knowing what to expect - just a ball rolling along a track. I was surprised. It’s quite addictive, the controls responsive, colours vibrant. I’ve not played all the way through so I don’t know what else is to come, but the idea is that you are very much trying to play against the clock and improve your time. It also has multi-player which I haven’t tried. It’s had me laughing out loud largely at my own stupidity but I reckon that’s a good recommendation.

MarineVerse Cup - Sailboat Racing
Excellent sail race game with a great community forming, and passionate developers keen to progress the game. if you want to learn about the intricacies and tactics of racing this is perfect. i’ve played it for a while now on rift s, and it works well, plenty of stats and race replays, leagues and multiplayer races can be found and the discord channel gives plenty of advice and ongoing support. look forward to more development in the future.

Here’s the deal. This isn’t the prettiest game you’ll ever play. There’s no gorgeous vistas to take in as you sail one of a bajillion boats along and watch DVD movies on an In-Boat entertainment system. It’s not loaded with eye-candy fluff.
It is an incredibly good tool to TEACH YOU HOW SAILING WORKS. How to actually sail a boat, how to handle a boat, how to hold a boat so you move along at 11.9 knots instead of 11.7 knots. How to “trick the wind” to let you work on the weak side of irons. How to make a boat pass around 5 buoys in the shortest time in a “never seen it before and never see it again” dynamic situation…and then getting that little endorphin dump to hear your own name called out as the winner of yesterday’s daily race.

Radio Violence
I’m one of the lucky ducks who got to help test the game, and it’s amazing. I love multiplayer strategy games, but its such a chore to get some friends to sit down and play them for a few hours at a time. This game satisfies the itch to play a strategy game, and plays on your nostalgia for the olden days of couch co-op, all while being bite sized and easy to consume.
All in all this is a great first release for No Sleep, and I wholeheartedly can’t wait to see more from them, and recommend this to anyone who wants to just sit down play a quick strategic game with some friends.

Slapshot: Rebound
Slapshot: Rebound has got to be one of my all-time favorite video games. Growing up on the NHL series for console, Slapshot: Rebound is a refreshing take on computer hockey video games that hasn’t been done in quite some time. This physics based, arcade-like game is so perfectly intertwined into what the game of Hockey is truly about, that Slapshot: Rebound is a MUST HAVE for any Hockey fan, or sports fan alike. AND ITS FREE!!
The Pros:
- FREE TO PLAY. This small 3-man Dev team has made this game free to play for EVERYONE. How awesome??
– Real player with 579.0 hrs in game
Slapshot: Rebound is an intense 3v3 multiplayer physics hockey game. It’s skill heavy game where you control every aspect of your character from, movements, stick handling to customization. It’s a one-of-a-kind game, filled with original mechanics and fast-paced gameplay. The controls are easy to pick up for new players. After the tutorial, you can hop in a custom game with your friends and start slapping. Lack of skill doesn’t make the game less enjoyable. At that point., every good pass, shot, or play will be exciting. If you play against people your level, even the smallest achievements seem big.

Wizards
First, I want to say I loved Funorb & Arcanists. This is how I found this game. It’s a crime people don’t make these kind of games & everything is FPS or RPG. There is definitely a NEED for this genre to explode. It requires strategy, aiming, real time thinking, & planning. Setting up your book will give you an advantage, but you’ll lose something every time you add a spell. There is no perfect combination, & each map will play to your strengths or weaknesses. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way. How does this game stack up with Arcanists - because it IS the elephant in the room?
– Real player with 180.5 hrs in game
If you played Arcanists back in the day, you won’t be disappointed with Wizards. It’s exactly like Arcanists, and I’m really glad we have this amazing gem of a game playable again.
Honestly, being able to unlock spells without having to do the grind of ranked matches is really great. I can just play with friends, mess around, and unlock the spells. Solid thumbs up from me!

ARK-ADE
ARK-ADE! where you get transported into arcade machine
[retro FPS] [fast pace]
equip gun that looks cool, shooting down enemy, protecting the ark and get as high score as you can and get your name on the leaderboard and ofcourse have fun
seriously though i had alot of fun even when i died a ton of time on higher difficulty
and finding secrets.
Pros:
it has a mixture of pistol whip and super hot
power-up are cool especially the laser gun!
Cons:
accidentally reload when you have power up throws away your current weapon back to default
– Real player with 8.0 hrs in game
I’ve played several hours of this & I was pleasantly surprised. Which is why I kept coming back for more.
This game is definitely a fast paced shooter, somewhere between the realms of Super Hot & Pistol Whip.
You get to move around freely, explore the different paths & the secrets within each level.
There’s power- ups to choose from & a bullet time mode.
One of the reasons I kept coming back was the insane Boss battles near the end. I couldn’t stop playing until I prevailed. This game allows you to just jump in & play, not worrying about stories or saving - it’s an arcade shooter after all. Very fun.

Eonica Chess Battle
great auto battle game, good graphics
– Real player with 507.4 hrs in game
This is the best chess game I’ve ever played. The amount of depth to the game, while still in early access, is impressive. I think that the game will only get better with time and will have more players to compete against as the game grows in popularity.
