Dorfromantik
Relaxing, at times quite challenging and very, very addictive. When this game first came out I was instantly obsessed. The mechanics are simple enough… Match up the tiles with field to field, house to house, forest to forest and so on, but even in your first round you will notice that this task is harder than it seems. You have to plan ahead and watch your pile of tiles, because before you know it, you have none left. To make sure you keep the game going you complete build-quests attached to tiles in your pile or found in the surrounding area as your landscape grows bigger. They require a certain amount of connecting tiles, either asking for a very specific number or anything above. You can also get tiles back when you perfectly match all the sides of a tile. The thrill of the hunt for a new high score keeps me up most nights.

Dorfromantik is puzzle game: You are given a stack of 50 tiles (where each side can be forest, farmland, empty, buildings, water, or traintracks). Some tiles give you quests (i.e. link up 50 buildings to this hex) which give you 5 tiles when completed. Some quests also drop a flag when completed, which gives you 5 more tiles if you block off that quest type (i.e closing the forest region off). You also can get 1 tile if you place a hex perfectly (i.e. each side is touching another hexside with the same stuff in it).The goal of each game is to play until you run out of tiles. The game has objectives, some of which are always counting, some of which only count if it is one of the three objectives given at the start of each game. If you complete those objectives you unlock unique tiles (i.e. a windmill hex where all 6 sides are farmland). Each objective has multiple levels which grow in difficulty/time investment to complete. This is why the main gamemode is a puzzle game, not a city builder, you are trying to last as long as possible and get as many unlocks as you can in one run. There is a creative gamemode which gives you unlimited tiles and the ability to skip or delete tiles you don’t want, but to get the unique tiles in the creative mode you must first unlock them in the base game. Overall, it is a very fun game, and can be pretty relaxing (so long as you aren’t trying to complete one of the harder objectives, such as placing 200 tiles in a row without having any tile side touch a hex whose side is different).

War War
A old-school style game that is fun and doesn’t take a gigabyte of storage in 2020? Crazy! Seems to be extremely optimized as it is small but brings with it a bunch of fun online matchups. 3 units, ground forces, a tank and 2 drones. I think I am best at the tank as it is easiest, but splitting up the ground forces and controlling individual groups of them with two joysticks on the same controller at once is awesome! Units can’t turn around (they can’t and it seems intended) so the game is a simple match up once you go to War War!

3dSen VR
DEVELOPERS: READ BOTTOM PORTION, UPDATED OCCASIONALLY.
READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU’VE NEVER USED AN EMULATOR BEFORE:
my mind has been blown. im surprised at how little attention this has. as of now product is 2% positive reviews away from “overwhelmingly positive” and rightfully so (i hope it makes it there c:). First off i would like to emphasize that this is not a game but an emulator. A very very nice emulator on steroids. i would akin it more as software that you use to run other games. 3Dsen does not come with these games but it will greatly enhance them if you download the games (via a simple google search) and run them with 3Dsen. their very easy to download if i want super mario bro 3 i just google “super mario bro 3 nes download” and boom there it is.

3DSENVR breathes new life into old classics. Duck Hunt makes for a respectable target shooter in VR. That’s right: Duck Hunt… a game that came out in 1984… is a FUN VR GAME now.
Even stuff that kind of sucked… at the time it came out… is now modernized into a total blast to play: A 1983 Pinball game I otherwise wouldn’t have given ANY thought to as an 8-year-old kid is freaking MAGICAL now. To be clear: I had ZERO nostalgic feelings for that title… but now it’s one of my favorite 3DSENVR games.

Well, i am really exited with this GEM. Where to start? or how to define it?, simply, it is the box of dreams i ever wished to have at hand.
I mean what i said, ever desired to have a tabletop to enjoy my own battles with figurines, against a decent AI, but never expected one with so amazing graphics and so easy to manage.
Of course it is an early acces yet, with some bugs, but also playable now, got lot of content, medieval-fantasy by now, but much more will be added as said the Dev.
The Units are reallly well done, not just passed they are beautifull, Orcs smell as orcs and looks like to be really fear (to describe just one class of army, there are many mores by now, Dwarves, elven, Humans, undeads, etc…). So plenty of diferent units classes and razes. Each sceneray, even done by someone so Clunsy as i am, with a minimun of time can look amazings. And when i say a minimun mean right that, few times before i found a so friendly editor as the one incorporated with the game, you can not only made skirmish or storyline battles, just link them into any campaign map your imagination could create.
