Empire of Ember
EDITED TO REFLECT THE PATCH AS OF JULY 02:
~~A lot of people are saying that this game is a ‘Fantasy style Mount & Blade’, but that’s only partially true.
The truth is that this is a ‘Fantasy style Mount & Blade’ when that style of fantasy is coming from the Dark Souls universe.
As far as I can tell the only difference between ‘Easy’ and ‘Insanity’ (the most difficult), if the fact that your stuff don’t get taken when you lose by the random mobs that whopped your butt on ‘Easy’.~~

The game in a few words:
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic meets Mount and Blade.
TLDR: The Wizard lord simulator I have been looking for.
You manage your wizard tower, recruit troops, and go on missions with or without your troops (they won’t help you in dungeons).
I think the game nailed the interactions between these different parts very well. You do feel like being a wizard in his tower, improving your settlement and recruiting fireball fodder to buy you time to annihilate the enemy.
The action is split in “days” between which you will heal and restore your mana, and either investigate leads (about secondary quests), bolster the economy of your city through alchemy, or prepare enchantments to make the next battle easier or more rewarding.

Giants Uprising
I had some problems to start the game at first, but the team quickly helped me with solving my problem via discord. Thanks for that.
So, I think:
-
Game graphics are fantastic, but they need some optimisation for older computers like mine.
-
I really like to walk and explore a bit so some climbing mechanics would be nice
-
The plot and sounds are so nice. I like Kielbasa, but I miss him on the giant’s back. I hope we will see that :)
-
I would like to see some crafting in this game, and to build pancer giant, and be indestructible :D

A little background of myself,
I’ve never seen this game before, and upon looking at new releases, I came across this game minutes after it released. Mind you, since I haven’t been watching the development of this game, I have no prior “hype” of looking forward to this release. So my review is clearly new and unbiased. It is also worth noting, I play on keyboard and mouse for all my games.
My review,
This game is pretty unique. Not completely unique as its gameplay and environment remind me greatly of an old game called Ascend: Hand of Kul. The game puts you into a 3rd person perspective, taking the role of a giant that spawns from the depths of hell and you fight through the worlds to get stronger, level up and use special abilities, and finally, ascent into a greater being. It was multiplayer and had a lot of content, free roam, multiplayer and single player option. Ascend had a lot of development over the years and ended up being a very great game in the end of it all.

Phantom Hysteria
Phantom Hysteria is a 1-4 player, online co-op paranormal investigation and banishment game. Take on ghost-hunting contracts with your taped-together equipment as one of four playable P.I.N.E characters. Hone your skills for your designated class, utilize an array of equipment to decipher your clues, and use that to identify your contracted apparition.
Choosing from a variety of thrilling maps, you and your team will be required to do everything you can to document, and then eliminate the entity from this plane; if you manage to banish it, you’ll have a satisfied customer and a job well done. Afterward, it’s on to the next contract. But, if you are unsuccessful, something from beyond the mortal coil may be waiting to enter this world…
Phantom Hysteria’s Early Access will have four playable characters, four maps, and four entities available at launch.
“The Paranormal Investigation and Neutralization Experts guarantee results in no less than one night. With state-of-the-art equipment and field agents with expertise in lore, UrbanEx, technology, and show business, P.I.N.E will deliver a cohesive report on the ghost and its activities upon payment. All additional services will cost extra.”-CEO Michael Evans
It was supposed to be a simple job. Get in, get footage, get results. But the things we call paranormal, these ‘entities’, are lingering manifestations of fear, sorrow, and fury. The reason they linger is the same reason they are hard to exterminate. Whatever happens, be sure you keep the red light of your camera on. The camera should be live, even if you aren’t.
The entities in this game are influenced by the events of American history. The entities you hunt as P.I.N.E agents are connected to the fabric of who we are as a nation; it’s up to you to unbury the worst horrors of the American south, even if it means giving up your life in the process. From antebellum houses to abandoned sanatoriums, investigators are guaranteed a road trip of a lifetime.
Minds without bodies, feelings without souls. Entities linger on the edge of our reality, reaching over from the other side to manipulate the physical world in terrifying and lethal ways. To properly approach hunting these entities, certain clues will reveal how these entities manipulate the world; and you.
Phantom Hysteria’s missions put four P.I.N.E field agents into your control. Each agent has multiple customization options and dialogue that are unlocked through play. Agents of P.I.N.E have backgrounds and aspirations that fuel how they interact with every mission; but much like the ghosts, they have secrets that bleed into the world. Everyone is running from something.
P.I.N.E doesn’t mess around; but if they did, it would be within their southern United States headquarters. P.I.N.E’s warehouse is available for agents to access their accolades, outfits, and career information. Agents can pinpoint their next move, train using the warehouse’s Paranormal Investigation Training Center, and purchase their consumables.
“WARNING-REDACTED”
Regardless of who you choose to play as, agents of P.I.N.E will be offered a selection of careers to choose from at the start of the game. More missions lead to further experience in that career, but investigators are free to change careers between missions for any reason.

-
(Soloable) Jack of All Trades**
Careers will not only assist in your exploration of haunts but allow you to further capitalize on the entities you find lurking within.
When every crucial detail of the entity is recorded, the real mission begins. Consisting of multiple phases, haunts will task you with challenging objectives that bring out the survivalist of you and your team. These objectives will assist in your attempt to banish entities from this mortal plane; but missteps in doing so could risk releasing something more dangerous onto the world…

Great 3D platformer and an instant buy for anyone who considers themselves a fan of the original Crash Bandicoot or wants a serious challenge.
Ive played through every level there is so far and especially the later levels are extremly well made and a lot of fun. Despite it being difficult it all feels fair and rarely cheap.
The soundtrack (at least to me) is hit and miss, you have bangers like Pearl that sound incredible but you also have other levels where i feel like it lacks a lot of energy and or repeats too fast.

Stranded B
It should be a crime to charge 18 USD for this. It is the worst thing I have ever played and I have play hundreds of these cheap little survival games. It’s like they did even try with this one. The sound is bad the visuals are even worse and the little effort in this game and high price for it should tell you all you need to know about the devs of this game. I just bout a game for 1.99 and played it for nearly 40 hours. I couldn’t stand playing this for 40 minutes.

the closest thing to twisted metal that exists. very good car combat game
– Real player with 0.7 hrs in game
Okay, so…
Fuck the other two games - flesh out Carnage Cross as much as humanely possible. This is the closest the Twisted Metal fan-base will ever get to a spiritual successor since Sony decided to elbow-drop Twisted Metal for good. Wait until at least 1.0 to keep working on Sanitize or Starglades.
I know some of the suggestions I’m gonna make are already on your roadmap - AND I DON’T CARE. I’ll repeat them infinitely into the fucking VOID if need be.
● ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. DO IT.
● NONE of the vehicles should have auto-aim machine guns - all of their guns should fire directly forward. Auto-aim should be either a power-up or a special ability. With that being said…

Press the square brackets ( “[” and “]” ) to navigate between the sound tracks.
How to customize Court and Players?
Basketing allows you to customize the Court and the Players skins. The instructions for this are following:

Breadbox
An interesting take on an emulator… If the price doesn’t put you off.
I have only tried the Commodore 64 emulator so far. I like it, it gives a sense of depth to running programs with the models and sounds of the hardware there. It took a while to get used to the keyboard layout and I still haven’t found the £ mapping but otherwise it is smooth sailing. I also wouldn’t be surprised if there was a patch sometime in the not so distant future that addressed that (or I have to smash more buttons to find the pound sign :)). Joystick supported. I spent much more time with this thing than I thought I would and I gifted a copy to a friend who had one of these as a kid.
