Through Rust We Are Returned

When I play a game I want a good story without having to constantly mash the keyboard in fights. This game has a compelling story revealed in the form of character memories. The game play is unique, you use the memories to determine the order of combat bonuses. It is fun and not difficult to play. I hope to see more from Chaos Crew Productions!

Review:

This game is definitely more of a visual novel than a strategy RPG, but it’s pretty well done. I really love the mechanics of equipping memories to adapt and customize your characters it’s really cool, the big problem though is that the battles are mind numbingly easy it’s pretty much a rush down there’s not much strategy required at all. I did enjoy it’s visual novel aspects though it’s a pretty dang story the end through me for a hot minute as I was trying to figure out who was who and what was going on, but it has a really dope cyberpunk victorian take on sociopolitical struggles it’s written pretty well, there’s not many typing errors at all. Definitely recommend it’s a well done free to play my only complaint is I wish the combat was a bit more strategic it seems like they give you certain memories so you can make a tank character, but there’s no reason to might as well just go flat damage and blitz.

Tactical Vanguard Saga

Tactical Vanguard Saga

Nice game sofar,, but right now it seems only the first Mission is playable, it will not let me continue to the next Map after the 1st intermission.

For a Game that lasted less than 30 minutes 4€ is a bit much, hope it will bne updated in Future with more Missions.

For now sadly i cannot recommend it

A slightly-edited worked example of TShadowKnight’s SRW Engine MV, featuring some unique assets but just one stage that’s all of 15 minutes long. So, this is blatantly unfinished crapware trying to get money out of people by promising a game but then not actually creating the game.

Can’t recommend buying this for any reason.

I’m really enjoying my time with this game!

It’s hard to believe it came out so many years ago and yet holds up so well today!

I’m still making my way through but can’t wait to see where the story goes!

反图灵测试/Anti-TuringTest

This game is a new Roguelike Deckbuilder it is fun and I did lose track of time playing it but I felt like this game is lacking something. It does have Chinese writing but the card and main menu are in English and I can not find anything wrong with the translation. After every run, you get points to spend to get permanent upgrades like more shield or health. There are only three things I can think of that I wish were in this game. One I would like to look at my current deck of cards in the menu where you pick new cards. Two I don’t know why but I could not hear the gunfire when some of the enemies are firing their guns at me either my sound was so too low or the sound effect was not there. Three not everything is translated to English but I could get a general idea because I have played similar games. This was a fun game and it is like other Roguelike Deckbuilder but with its own twist to the game.

Slave RPG

Slave RPG

A fun game with a unique look. You start with a big debt and have to earn your freedom by earning money through various methods. Like mining or fighting in an arena or looting ruined cities. It mixes sci-fi with fantasy. For instance you can be playing as an orc and fighting a robot. It’s a game I very much recommend.

Love this game. The basic premise of this game is you play as a slave and you need to fight to work off your debt while learning about what happened to you. Now you can level up, you can fight mutated beings, attack npcs (with a perk) and more but It needs a lot more content I am 3 hours into the game and its starting to look like I am almost done with the second tier of arena and just need to find out where I came from there are no other arenas no crazy quests(that I have found) its just kind of there. If the devs decide to come back some day what I hope they add is-

OPERATOR

OPERATOR

please note that the showcased items above are running on a temporary lighting and scene building system and that the final game is subject to graphical enhancement

**IT WILL OUTLAST US.

IT WILL OUTLAST YOU.**

Welcome to Installation Jade. A megastructure and machine managed by an illusive and authoritarian Director. Nobody knows who built it. Nobody knows it’s age. Nobody’s around to ask.

You are an Operator. An artificial consciousness implanted within a preserved human body from long ago. Your tasks are simple. The Director’s orders firm. You are to be activated, assist in the standard operating procedure of the installation and do it with a smile. And so is the Operator after you, and after it, the system is to be kept alive until the end of time. But maybe it isn’t that simple. Maybe the Operator isn’t as mechanical as the system around it.

OPERATOR is a hard to define game about humanity’s struggle against an ancient inhuman odyssey of entirely human origin. About overcoming an inefficient machine entirely focused on self-preservation and either a liberation into the great unknown or a spiteful revolution of mutual destruction. Or maybe it’s just a game about manipulating a mysterious machine in a desperate attempt to end the Director’s mad cycle. Who knows?

In OPERATOR the player has agency over the installation and it’s warped reality, using the Installation’s Operating System to overcome the hostile machine’s many dangers and evade it’s pacification forces by manipulating the worldspace itself.

This is the first game developed by Australian indie solo-developer Cooper Braun and his studio Virtual Edition.
