Monsters Domain

Your objective is to stop any visitors to your Monsters’ Domain. Start from simple monsters and skeletons and with time build up your defences. You can play any monster from your army and give them specific orders to follow. Every killed hero makes them stronger and gives you an opportunity to equip them better or develop new skills or monstrosities. You can reanimate fallen intruders or collect pieces of your slain warriors and research new ways to use it.
Develop your preferred Style. You can focus on specific Style or mix them together to create a unique army of loyal Monsters. Choose from Necromancy, Vivisection, Mutation, Runes, Elixirs, Talismans, Forge, Techie, Strategy, Roguery, Drilling or Sorcery and different schools of Dark Magic.
Grow your beasts and monsters, make them unique or identical with others to unlock specific skill trees, upgrades and abilities. Combine unique equipment and skills and create your Bosses or Swarms.
Styles are complex systems focused on specific areas but combined with others allow to create more powerful weapons and upgrades. The vivisected finger of the mage combined with some elixirs can be a very powerful upgrade for your simple skeleton. Reanimated corpse of a fallen hero with some fresh mutations and newly forged weapons can make a really nice new Boss for your realm.
Loot all you can as bodies decay and some treasures can be lost to nasty imps or other thieves. Store you treasures as a lure for visitors or forge them into powerful objects. Every piece matters. Study new materials and runes, develop schematics for your traps and devices, collect limbs, flesh and bones for your experiments and new creations.
Learn and experiment. The way your monsters kill new heroes can be entertaining but also eye opening. Develop your Strategy and new Roguery tricks. Teach your zombies to play dead (sic!) or Drill skeletons to fight in formation. Experiment in your Forge with loot and spells and combine them into unique crafting materials.
Do all you can to defend you Monsters’ Domain!

Underland: The Climb
Underland: The Climb introduces moving enemy sprites as a resource on the map which you have to avoid or manipulate around the maps to press buttons, etc. In addition to that, a pickaxe takes the place of the saw wheel from the first game and overall the layering of the puzzle elements both as a factor of timing and sequencing is kicked up a notch!
A fun and short game, with a few maps that really take a few tries. It seems like the dev was really expanding the concepts shown in the first game and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next! This game’s puzzles really feel cohesive and like the game teaches you how to think and play.

You can’t create any save points or quick saves during a level. If you make mistake, you must restart the level. This inflated the playtime and made some levels tedious rather than a joy.

The main character, EVERY time you click them, will either say; (most of the time) “What’s up” (though it sounds more like “What the”) or “Hey” or “Hi” in an upbeat manner as if oblivious to nearby danger. I don’t need the character to greet me hello yet again seconds or minutes apart just because I needed to click them again. Became annoying after a while.

Mech Engineer
At last, properly hardcore and very complex survival management game, where you play as moving city’s AI. Haven’t played something that nice and satisfying in years.
Pros:
- Mech Engineering - you decided what Reactor, Motors, Modules and Weapons it will have and for kind of biomes it will be suitable to fight. In addition, through energy management interface you can decide, what modules will receive more energy from reactor (if you have spare) and from what reactor will siphon energy (to balance things out).

it took me about an hour or two to figure out how to get my mechs started and all the tweaks needed to survive them in a fight
been playing it for a bit and managed to go a month before i got stonewalled by bad production decisions, a misclick on the calendar, and boxed into a map box where i have like two directions to go and a big monster coming to get me i guess
i would suggest making the day turn thing ask if youre sure if you want to advance a day but that’s about it
e: nvm i beat the giant monster by luck the tentacle monsters are hard and super annoying tho

Shachibato! President, It’s Time for Battle! Maju Wars
Shachibato! President, It’s Time for Battle! Maju Wars is the longest game title I’ve ever had to type, and funnily enough its one of the shorter but unique games I’ve played. Its a strategy turn based RPG similar to Final Fantasy Tactics, it has your standard fair like classes, elemental types, gears and bosses which all make the combat interesting enough. What sets it apart from most the competition is it is rogue-like setup similar to Hades in that when you ‘game over’ you come back with unlocks and carry over a portion of your progress in cash, and a couple of your characters. I beat this game in one sitting and on my second run (it was about 13-17 hours of gameplay, I took a nap on the couch for part of the game-time lol), using the first run to learn the mechanics, therefore I can conclude the game is very fair and actually just requires a lot of thought (although I do consider myself quite proficient at strategy games [Humble Brag]). The only part of the game that is sub-par is the story as there may as well have been done, but for the rogue-like genre this is not uncommon. That and there is essentially almost no replay value, unless you want to explore different squad strategies. Overall this game is an exceptional value, especially because it is often heavily discounted meaning there is a lot of game there for minimal cost. A full recommend for any strategy JRPG gamer.

I am really enjoying this game so far. It reminds me a lot of the old Konami game Azure Dreams, but with a bunch of small randomly generated dungeons instead of one large one.
The game is a combination city-builder/roguelike. You have to manage your time, resources and income wisely as you try to rebuild your company, explore dungeons for loot and most importantly - survive the onslaught of encroaching monsters every 10 days.
As you explore dungeons, you can earn new attacks, loot and even team members. Just remember you have to pay each team member that enters the dungeon for you. The more powerful your Company becomes, the more you have to pay them. You also have to pay more for the more powerful characters (except DLC Nep-Nep. She stays nice and cheap while being arguably the best Warrior class in the game).

Underland
Thumbs-up love for indie game artists, but could have improved on a lot of things. As has been observed, two people was never really necessary beyond prolonging repetitive actions. There was no button-holding or anything to necessitate the second guy, so all it did was frustrate the timing-based bits near the end.
Also the story felt a little shoe-horned in at the beginning and the ending. I was hoping the elevator would go down, you’d get a cutesy game-end splash with a shot of some cthonic city, and there-ya-have-it. Instead the wee bit of narrative felt a little pushy if anything. Sometimes less is more.

A great first entry in what looks to be a series of these light puzzle games. Half way through I was like “Why do some challenges make you save one guy and you always start with two?” But, there’s kind of a Spooky Narrative Reason by the end!
If you like this game, certainly pick up the second one, it really expands on the concepts and introduces new elements!

Lairchitect
So close, yet so far. As it is, it should be a free demo game, don’t pay for this, BUT keep an eye out for it, if they can flesh it out better like Pyramida for example, it might be worth getting.

The game isn’t a game, yet, its a broken sandbox of awesome tools.
Some Glaring errors: There is almost nothing you can do with the early game rats, slimes and cherry bombs,
cherry bombs appear to do nothing, except distract the heroes, to maybe give other monsters a little time to get to the fight, except they don’t have a good enough AI to do that.. would have been a perfect ‘alarm’ monster, to trigger the rest to come fight.

I love Sokpop. I want to like this game so much. It has all the right pieces, but they’re not assembled in the right way. With a some adjustments, it can absolutely get there.
First off, please make building tiles an automatic process, not ones that you have your minions do for you (or make it MUCH faster). It bogs down the “design your dungeon” aspect of the game quite a lot. Especially considering you have to put down wood tiles first, before you can put down brick, which prevents it from burning when lava randomly spits up.

Honestly, I expected more from the game, I didn’t like the music and there’s little gacha in common, the world didn’t like it either, it’s kind of open but at the same time empty

Yes, sometimes I want to spend an evening playing a game dedicated to my guilty pleasure. Perhaps someday I would like to have all the gachimuchi games in my library. As for this particular one, one of the advantages is minimalistic graphics, which allows you to run the game on any computer, the presence of game achievements, and my favorite sounds from the gachi. Nevertheless, the developer still has a lot of work to do.

Mini Crafty
This game is very basic but has a lot of potential. There are definitely a few bugs, and for how short the game is it does feel strange to have to sit there and wait for the right materials to spawn before you can progress. It is also infuriating when you die to a swarm of enemies and have to restart the entire game. I think the crafting and inventory system is interesting but there is only a few crafting recipes, and I have yet to figure out the purpose of the minions. The audio and screenshake left me with a headache and there is no menu that I have seen to tweak any game settings. I would love to recommend this game but in its current state I cannot say I would spend more than a couple of dollars on it.

Dungeons 3
There are things I like and things I don’t like in this game. I have gotten and completed all the DLCs. I have also completed Dungeons 2.
I start from the things I didn’t like.
The trailer shows a nice movie - that is just an ad in the store. There are no such animations in the game. After some missions(not all) you are shown a partially animated 2d cartoon. No 3d animations like in the trailer, nothing like that in the game.
Dungeons… There were dungeons in Dungeons 2, but in Dungeons 3 there is just 1 dungeon in each of the missions. It was fun to visit and explore dungeons other than your own in Dungeons 2, nothing like that here. There are no other dungeons.

In this game, you build a dungeon, create an army of evil and invade the aboveground world, called Overworld, to defeat heroes and complete various objectives, while at the same time defending your dungeon from the heroes' raids. The game has single player, co-op, and multiplayer mods, but I have only tried out the single player campaign.
