Synthbiotic Dungeon
I really like the idea of isometric dungeon crawlers. The person placing the traps and possessing the enemies is also great, however even with this patch some enemies still feel very weak or very slow. A single player can easily out weave around them all. On Aegis map, enemies can spawn hidden behind a wall which makes picking them difficult as you still can’t switch between them while in control.
Also while I had no troubles making a lobby as the defence, for some reason why I see a lobby to join as a runner, it boots me back to the menu.

Dude, this game is REALLY solid and polished. The multiplayer aspect and how the game functions is a joy. It has all the fun of a tower defense AND the asymmetric aspect is really a unique combo. I could see this game becoming a THING with more development.

Children of Morta
I’m a little mixed on this game overall. But I like it.
Children of Morta is an atmospheric-story-driven-diablo-lite-with-rogue-elements. But action rogue-lite works, too.
Premise: You’ll control the Bergson family, residents of Mount Morta. A threat known simply as the “Corruption” needs to be thwarted.
Structure:
You select a character and set off into a portal to fight the corruption. It has 3 main areas. Each harboring a spirit you need to free to aid you. Each area then has procedural levels within it.
! The last area is seems a bit inspired by the Dwemer Ruins of Elder Scrolls.. All the areas have a distinct feeling.

A hack-and-slash game with rogue-like elements, Children of Morta unfortunately didn’t provide me with any of the satisfaction associated with either genre.
I usually like to start with the positives but they’re scarce here. The pixel art looks excellent but even that is squandered in drab and uninspired levels, of which there are mainly only three types: a cave, a desert town and a volcanic industrial area.
The music, although competently made, sounded very unmemorable to me. None of the tracks were catchy or went beyond doing their job.

Gauntlet™ Slayer Edition
Arrowhead was undoubtedly thrilled to apply their mantra to their childhood franchise by quickening the series with a more tactical reboot. They indeed elaborated on the action, but did they make a winning formula, and is this truly Gauntlet?
The Heroes
If your perspective on nostalgia consists of 4 buddies coming together as Warrior, Valkyrie, Wizard, and Elf and challenging the Gauntlet, you’re in for a real treat. Arrowhead’s expansion to them is very worthy! Each possesses nods to their original concept. Merlin’s spells are an absolute joy to wield, and though the others have less to work with, there is elegance in their designs. All are solid, and all depend on player skill and improvisation.

TLDR: Highly recommended, good fun in single player or multiplayer and ok for people who get motion sick from fps or moba style games.

KobberParty - Castle Explorer
This game is extremely simple (basically, push your luck kind of game), but it is a fun way to spend some time with friends. The selling point is that you can play with almost infinite amount of people — and only one of them should own the game. So it is easy to play online in a manner similar to Jackbox games — one player streams the game, others connect with their devices. So if you have a larger company and wanna play something really simple while you are chatting, it is a good choice.

I Love this game.
It is just as ruthless as Castle Explorer. But here it is your own Greed that drives you to the death.
It Is a fun game where only the hosts need it and all others can join in - Just like jack box games.
The Feeling “There is 52% chance I will get gold and 4% change I will meet the same trap again and die. I NEED GOOOLD” and then the trap….
Running 5 Games in a row to see what player wins and so is just so fun - Had a game here the other day, The AFK Dude that fled on round one all rounds got on the 3 places. we were 6 players ;)

Castle Explorer
The fun is in the dying. Die you will. With thousands in gold and a mere step away from the exit or done in by the vampire chasing you-you will die. From dragonfire or traps or even slipping off a plank over a chasm:you will die.Rotating rooms, traps, pits.locked doors, trapped doors and even clear corridors await you. Venture forth and die in the dungeon. A few lucky ones will escape with treasures-a very few. Could you be one? Will you be a legend in the beerhalls or the butt of jokes-did you hear about Dragonspoor with his arms full of treasure trapped in the rotating room against the castle wall helpless while the dragonfie came for him? Yes,the fun is in the dying-unless you don’t. then the fun is in the retelling of your adventures.

Even though I recieved this game for free and it is developed by a close friend of mine I still hope you will take the time to read my honost opinion of the game.
Castle Explorer is a basically board game for pc, and what makes board games good? The experience you get when playing with friends so if you don’t have any friends to play this game with and you have to play with only the AI, I wouldn’t recommend this game.
In Castle Explorer the RNG reign supreme, and even though that might be frustrating to some (especially competitive) people, I have found it quite amusing that you could end up dead on your first turn due to bad luck on the roulette or a bad choice when picking which tile to pick up and place.

Crawl
One of the best local multiplayer games ever made. My friends and I have played this almost every week without fail since launch - it’s that damn good. When we meet new people who claim they’re into games, we vet them on this and see if they have fun or can appreciate the depth of game mechanics. We love this game because there’s nothing like sitting shoulder to shoulder with a pal and howling with rage at a stolen kill, laughter at a horde of slimes causing a human to suddenly play a Shmup, or roars of hype when a close bossfight comes down to the wire. My short recommendation for this game is BUY IT. But now let’s get to why you should.

Oh man. Where do I begin with this game? There’s so much done right about this game that it’s very quickly becoming one of my favourite rougelikes. Let’s just dive right into the dungeon and start chopping off the pros and cons of this insanely unique and fast-paced competitive Gauntlet-inspired roguelike.
Pros:
+Fast paced couch competition. The game is super quick to pick up and just as wasy to learn, utilizing only the movement directions and two buttons.
+Most unique idea for a rogulike in a long time. The fact that AI or other friends control your ENTIRE JOURNEY is so fresh and innovative that I honestly can’t think of a game to compare it to.

Blightbound
Ok, let´s see. Blightbound is a 3 people cooperative dungeon crawler action oriented. You play with some people, kill mobs and bosses, complete missions and earn loot, which becomes better and better the more you play with the same team. You also develope the refuge where your characters level up and equip as you earn experience, and you can unlock many characters and their backstories as you preogress.
First of all, remember that this is an early access game. There are bugs, and lacks content, but I must say that the developers are active and updates come regularly.

Dont let the negative reviews scare you away from this one! It might not seem like it at first but this game has pedigree. Its another diamond in the rough from Devolver. IMO its one of the more accessible indies they’ve picked up in the last several years of back to back bangers. Ronimo has a small list of titles, but Awesomenauts released in the glorious age of xbox live arcade and has continued to get updates to this day. In an age of $60 AAA Flops and heartless money grabs, Blightbound stands true to its roots. $20 is a bargain.

Dragon Extinction
For the record, I originally didn’t recommend this game, but now I do. I enjoy playing it, I have some issues though.
–Lack of mouse speed settings and mouse smoothing makes it unfriendly to new players. A fully functional controller feature would be nice too, not just a partial one.
–Pathing issues (getting stuck on terrrain) is especially bad in some dungeons. Caves specifically.
–Mushroom enemy can walk in areas where players can’t, creating an unreachable loot bag.
–Mini-pet gets in the way of player, other players bump into other players too, getting in the way.
– Real player with 102.8 hrs in game
The game has a very good structure, but there is a lot that could be added.
For instance, there could be skills (mining, harvesting, ect) that can be progresses by harvesting/mining. These materials gained can then be used at the forge for cool weapons.
Bottom line : The forge needs more things to make.
When it comes to the loot!! I honestly like how that there are these treasure boxes, but one thing that would be really awesome is if bosses would have sets that they drop. I know that AQW [Adventure Quest World] was very playable due to the dope drops that every monster would give. Heck there was even 1 percent chance drops that I grinded for.
