EDIT: Alright so I just replayed this game TWICE and have to say the majority of all my problems were completely fixed.

I found about 2 new bugs, neither of which were game breaking and I don’t doubt the Dev will fix it as he does really care about this game.

Give this game a shot, it’s well worth it and if I can beat it before the update and twice after so can you.

LOVE THIS GAME, Try it now! I’ll add a link to my new playthrough when I get it uploaded soon.

New Playthrough as promised:

I love this game although at moments it touched a rage nerve lol. But it is great! Good atmosphere but the one thing I will touch on is the fact when you die it sends you back to the start which is really frustrating for me and probably others. But all in all a great game:) Check my playthrough and I got the bad ending so must get the good ending now:) Well doen Dev..I look forward to your next game:)

Need for Drive - Open World Multiplayer Racing

Need for Drive - Open World Multiplayer Racing

As the title already suggests, “Need for Drive” is basically “Need for Speed” if you bought “Need for Speed” on Wish and threw in bad grammar for good measure.

Sure, there’s only so much you can expect for paying a buck and it’s mechanically somewhat solid but that’s more a testament to the quality of the store assets the developers threw together and not to the technical proficience of the team (?) behind the game. This becomes bleedingly obvious when it comes to controller support which is fairly broken. The used asset pack offers it out-of-the-box but the devs managed to fumble the input settings to such a degree that barely anything works.

It’s awful, but one thing that makes me confused about this is why are there three games that looks exactly the same, all developed by different developers and self-published? Success Games, Stanislaw dev and CRAZY.DEVS? Something sketchy is going on there.

This game’s actual name is CrashMetal as shown on the game’s depot.

https://steamdb.info/app/1531720/depots/

There’s a mobile game (No longer available on Play Store) that just happens to be called that, except it was developed by Stanislaw which is the same developer name for Crash Metal - Cyberpunk.

Game description key-points: a NO VALUE truck sim

Real player with 6.0 hrs in game

TL;DR: If you just want to goof around driving a truck, this is your title.

I got this title in a bundle for .27 USD. And for a port that wasn’t fully ported? Not bad. Full disclosure: I’m not hauling anything, just driving my truck down the highway, listening to the tires hum. Sometimes stopping to get gas, eat or sleep. Is it a broken title? I dunno, though I did manage to drive off the map.

I then drove my truck boat in the sea until I ended up free falling forever. It was kinda pretty. I then used teleport to go to Quebec and all was well. If you’re looking to just drive on roads, it’s great. Keep in mind it didn’t fully port so mouse not only looks around but is also used to reverse or hit the icons.

The Last Taxi

The Last Taxi

When a fatally wounded member of an anti-technology cult leaves you with what appears to be an undocumented infant, you’re thrust into a dark network of secrets – unravelling a conspiracy that could shake Progress Point to its core.

The Last Taxi is a narrative-driven adventure game set in Progress Point, a politically and economically-divided sprawling metropolis that has fully embraced automation and human modification, creating a satirical and somberly-surreal vision of the future.

As the last human driver, you’ll meet a diverse cast of passengers, each with their own tailored conversations. Be drawn into morally challenging decisions that lead you into the heart of a dying society.

Narrative Gameplay:

As a taxi driver, your job is to keep passengers comfortable, happy and generous.

Or not?

How you interact with passengers is up to you! With varied dialogue choices and multiple endings, you can choose to keep the tips rolling in or spend all your time insulting them.

But keep in mind, gaining their trust and listening to their problems is a lucrative side business. As per Progress Point’s governmental regulations, all taxis are fitted with sleek, handy, and mandatory listening devices – for uhh… quality assurance.

If your passenger expresses something that isn’t quite above board, you can quietly report it to the authorities for some side cash. Choosing to let some shady business go unnoticed does have its perks, though. And with over 80 diverse characters to chat with, you’ll see all kinds traveling the city.

The World:

In the future, you got what you asked for – Flying cars! Unlimited time for hobbies! And the ultimate hybridization of human and machine! Or was it just flying cars you wanted…

Regardless, life in Progress Point is going pretty great. As the only standing city, we survived environmental and economic collapse because no one from the past changed their small, but destructive habits.

Status quo reigned and we’re the societal afterbirth, filled with various factions that believe in one kooky thing or another, like free will.

Oh, but that makes it sound so bleak. Really, there is a bright side.

No one needs to work anymore! The brunt of the workforce has been given to automatons …Well, unless you personally didn’t harbor a vault of cash before the collapse. If you’re one of the unlucky ones, you’ll still need to find some way to make an income, pay the bills, and find your niche in a world run by automation. As a human, you’ll just have to be creative and think outside the processor.

Features:

• Earn tips by navigating through 80 treacherous, quirky, and haunting choice-driven passenger conversations.

• Aid and abet criminal passengers, help them reconsider their actions, or report them to the authorities.

• Upgrade your taxi with new tools allowing for hijacking cargo, hacking toll booths, enhanced customer experience and more!

• Maximize fares by managing malfunctioning equipment, avoiding environmental hazards, and keeping your passengers comfortable.

• Experience a rich and detailed world of technological headquarters, mountaintop temples, sunken metropolises and pirate-infested underworlds.

• 10 hours of gameplay with 20+ unique choice-driven endings.

I bought this game out of pure boredom…

But, I really enjoy playing it when I dont have anything else to do.

Sure the things you can do are limited but it does let time pass by quikly.

7/25/21: EDIT: Money is no longer properly saved and is even deducted after a race, so I couldn’t earn anything after the second car. Going to flip to not recommending unless that’s fixed.

I got this game for $1.09 USD in a bundle. What did I get? A decent port with a lot of fun under the hood, It follows the pattern of a lot of racers. You start off with a basic car and one road. As there’s really no real “race” here, you get points for near misses, combos, distance, etc.

After your first drive or so you should have enough to at least get another road, paint job or both. It takes about half an hour with luck to unlock all of the roads and paint your car and wheels. I say with luck, because this game has a habit of losing your winnings, sometimes thousands of dollars worth.

Gameplay (Short Summary)

Let me start off this review by saying, that the game currently has very little to offer in terms of gameplay if you are not much of a creative person, but if you are, then be prepared to a big grind fest early on in the game until you get the ability to construct auto miners, after that prepare yourself to the next gameplay phase - driving simulator, because resources are scattered across multiple biomes and while driving at max speed from 30-50kmph, it takes a while to get you around the map.

Update of my review and thought about this game.

1. I can play this game even though there are still lots of lags, bugs, and crashes.

2. Need optimization.

3. The game crashes when I increase the quality of the texture (not the resolution).

4. It took a long time to load the game (around 3 minutes).

5. Lag mostly appears when I exit menu or game settings and when the game is finally loaded.

6. I am using my laptop to play the game. Not the best experience i have with this game.

7. I can’t click on the writing on the vaccine. There is a person who have a small typo in the vaccine letter and when rejected it turns out it should be rejected (small typo is not tolerated). Also, the writing on the vaccine letter is too small.

Fucking hell, this game is a bore. After leaving this game on once and letting my brother play it, I decided to play it.

The driving in this game is such a bore, it is so clunky and buggy. This game runs so terrible, around 20 frames. To compare, Monster hunter world ran 60 FPS on high. The game itself is difficult, but the game is so un-enjoyable that I barely noticed. The game itself is so slow, everyday you have to drive 1.7k meters to your job and back, each day spending $9 on gas. This game is painfully slow. The main part of the game is being a border patrol worker and getting money for your family, yet that was only a small part of my play through as I spent most of the time driving back and forth, running back and forth. Sometimes running into a game breaking bug that fucked me over. The world around me is so ugly, the characters and models look so empty & dead. The worst of all, this game has the potential to be a survival game x Papers, please, but the game is now abandoned in such a shitty state. Just buy Papers, please.
